My favorite part is the custom built bookcase replacing an old dated iron railing. It looks like a completely different unit, changing our outdated unit into a contemporary home. As an added bonus they came in on time and on budget. We will definitely use them for our kitchen renovation next year!

I spppent $5000 to protect my new concrete driveway with Dry Zone's product Sealant Pro. However,…read moreafter an ice storm and salt was applied to the driveway, the surface was ruined. Dry Zone adverses "once applied, Sealant Pro works to blockwater and chemicals from gettiing into concrete.This protects the slab from the damaging effects of freezing and expanding water has on the concrete surface, virtually eliminating pitting, flaking, and spallng." It did nothing to protect my driveway. It's a mess! I am not sure what type of coating was put on , but I paid for Sealant Pro. They were no help at all in solving the problem and would not take any responsibility and did not respond when I asked for a referral for concrete engineer to determine whether the failure was on their part or on the part of the concrete company that did the installation. First, they said it was caused by the salt, then they switched to saying the concrete was bad.

Bayside Exteriors, Lewes, DE replaced my roof. They did an absolutely awesome job! I had a large…read morejob (2,100 sq ft home with 6/12 roof pitch, XL 2-car garage, and a porch). They install 30 and 50 year GAF shingles. They have a high business rating with GAF, so they can offer their customers a 35-year warranty on installed GAF shingles! They came out for an estimate, went up on the roof to check it out and came down with a lot of photos, rot, black mold, holes in the boards. Because the contractor who built my garage David Carr, Homestead Contracting (BUYER BEWARE - it looks good until you find all the damage that has been done over time) did not properly attach the garage to the house, it had leaked in many places. Problems with the roof: 1) Mr. Carr never framed the garage properly for it to drain. 2) Mr. Carr NEVER installed flashing where the garage met my house. He pieced together small flashing sections on my porch because he didn't have a large enough piece. 3) Mr. Carr never installed roof vents for ventilation on the garage or my porch. 4) He butted the shingles up to the existing shingles on my house. They should have crossed over the joints. 5) It leaked everywhere where Mr. Carr attached the garage to my house. I had 2 roofing contractors tell me that the roof should have never been connected to my house the way that it was. You might think you're getting a nice-looking garage and roof, but 15 to 20 years later, when your roof needs replaced, you find out how much rot and black mold they have to remove. It is NOT worth the price you saved. Do it right in the first place. Get a REPUTABLE contractor. Bayside Exteriors gave us an estimate. They have a GAF Master Elite rating. Only 2% of the contractors achieve this rating. Their expertise in explaining everything that was done incorrectly and showing us all the rot was impressive. They had a special if you signed within 30 days you got the 35-year warranty for free, which normally cost just under $2000. If a storm blows off the shingles, they come out and fix them for free. The warranty is transferable to one buyer. They showed up with 10 men on my job. They had equipment delivered, a large dumpster, portable commode, and a dumpster that lifts up to the edge of the roof. They placed large sheets of tarp all around the house. They threw the shingles in the small dumpster as they removed them. When the small lift dumpster was full, they dumped it in the large dumpster. Another truck arrived with a tall crane-like lift which lifted the pallets of shingles up to the roof. Bayside had to use 5 boards of OSB to get rid of all the rot and mold. It was even in the walls. They had everything they needed to do a high quality job. They had a supervisor on the roof and a supervisor on the ground. They kept the yard clean so it wouldn't fly away to the neighbor's yards. Bayside Exteriors did a highly professional job. I am extremely happy with their work. I now have roof vents on the garage and porch and proper flashing. They put rubber on the roof at the back garage joint which was improperly connected to the house and had leaked so much over the years. They were done in 1 day. It all looks so much more professional than my first builder had done. I was very impressed with the workmanship of the staff and their professionalism. We bought 40 pieces of fried chicken, chips, cookies, soda, and tea for them for lunch. They were very appreciative. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this #1 company to anyone replacing a roof. I would leave 10 stars if I could. Call Bayside Exteriors. They are a step above! Their price was only $200 more than a competitor and the warranty was worth it.

Not only did they fail to follow the agreed-upon dimensions, but the slab ended up being out of square, uneven, and clearly not level. This caused major issues for the next phase of the project. On top of the poor workmanship, Liberty Concrete and home Enhancements LLC was incredibly unprofessional. Robert Hammond (one of the owners) used vulgar language and even resorted to name-calling when I notified him that Sussex County failed the footing inspection. Robert's lack of respect and professionalism made the situation even more frustrating. I would not recommend Liberty Concrete and Home Enhancements LLC to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled contractor. If you're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and treats their clients with respect, LOOK ELSEWHERE! The experience of dealing with Robert and this company has been a complete disappointment. Fortunately, another company was able to work around their screw ups. Now to further fix Liberty's screw up we will be hiring a Landscaper to "hide" the poor curb appeal caused by this company! Do yourself a huge favor when looking for a contractor do your homework and LOOK at ALL reviews before you hire. In response to your comments on this. Robert, this has gone on far to long, maybe instead of wasting your energy in trying to discord our honest review about the work you have done for us, you should move on. We have owned our mistake of not doing a vigorous search to review your business before hiring you. Going forward we certainly will not hire any contractor without first doing an extensive search of reviews. If you want to post pics of work another contractor done to fix your screwups then by all means go for it. As for the paperwork, each document is fact including your failed footer inspection you claimed didn't happen. This particular document was taken from the Sussex County website. Now are you going to claim the county is lying as well? I am not going to continue back and forth with you and will not engage in your childish tantrums. The public can come to their own conclusion. My review is honest and backed up with documents. You seem to have a problem owning your mistakes.

All Temp first came to our house in May of 2024 for trouble with an existing system installed by…read moreanother contractor in 2015 and moved by yet a different contractor in 2020. A few technicians came to the house over a few months and with the unit under warranty they had to order a blower motor for the unit that took a bit to come in from the manufacturer. The last tech that came out was Glenn and he worked to get a few door panels that were damaged by the previous contractor in 2020 replaced under warranty. I appreciated the level of service back in 2024 and when the system recently had an issue with the compressor, I contacted All Temp for an emergency call and then decided to go with a new system. Glenn still works at the company, and I spoke briefly with him over the phone and Dylan came out to do a survey of the house and gave me three recommendations on replacement units. I would also recommend an Energize Delaware assessment because there are rebates to be taken advantage of for insulation, crawl space encapsulation, and an energy efficient system. The lower priced model didn't fall into the rebate and so of the remaining two we choose the American Standard Platinum 20 SEER2 variable speed model paired with Platinum variable speed air handler. They were able to get the installation on the schedule quickly (for summer) and Dylan takes the extra step of taking the rebate off the price and putting it in through Energize Delaware. Tony, Matthew, and Ken came out, were very professional and did the install in half a day; great teamwork. We also went with a thermostat that connects to our Wi-Fi that allows All Temp the ability to view remotely if we have any issue with the system. Shane was scheduled just over two weeks later and did a quality assurance inspection of the work. The truth is that Glenn sold me a system in 2024 with his level of service and follow-through. This company is worth a look if you need work done on your heating and air conditioning system.
