He was very helpful and pleasant to be around. Much of the books are in the Korean Language, but there are many books that have both English and Korean writing. I saw comic books with Asian spreading the word of God, but doing it in a way kids through adults can understand. Oh, did I mention Hello Kitty too? Hello Kitty watches, dishwasher sets and even a sleeping bag to name a few things. If business doesn't get better for the owner here, I eventually will end up closing the store forever. Now it's a Korean establishment with books exclusively in Korean so if you are not fluent, you will be a fish out of water. This would be a great place to shop for your Korean parents, in-laws, or kids. They got rid of their little wine bar several years ago but have expanded their children's section into a comfortable little nook that is perfect for finding your next best read. They also have the best gift selection for adults and children and tons of unique activity books (perfect for snowstorms like this weekend!). Love, love, love this shop.

After visiting nearby ZavaZone with our seven-year-old daughter, we stopped into Second Story for a few minutes, which easily turned into an hour. Every book is 50% off. We left with 15 books for just under $21. The books are well organized and maps help navigate visitors to each section, but know that the warehouse's narrow book aisles can get cramped. It adds to the appeal! There are even harder-to-find rooms with other items like posters for sale. They also sell CDs and DVDs. Staff are helpful. I lost my wallet and within an hour a staff member messaged me on Facebook letting me know they found it and it was safe at the checkout desk. But on the way, I saw a sign saying more upstairs. That's where the real stock was kept. It somehow felt like there was twice as much space on the second floor than the first. Sci fi, fantasy, horror, Manga (limited),etc all the good stuff was on the second floor for me. Value wise it was worth stopping in here. Most books were about 7-10 which is at the high end for me but you know, this place is worth it. Selection is great and would definitely come back.

It fits right in with the large amount of stores and restaurants in the area. There were several families and people there reading. It was very hot outside so it was nice to stay inside and do some reading. There is a Starbucks inside which provides great coffee drinks. I was able to get an iced coffee and sit down and read one of the new books. I spent a good amount of hours here hanging out. I love this addition to the Mosaic District. I hope this place picks up and more people come and review. I am a big fan of Barnes and Noble and will come back here again.
