He was very helpful and pleasant to be around. Much of the books are in the Korean Language, but there are many books that have both English and Korean writing. I saw comic books with Asian spreading the word of God, but doing it in a way kids through adults can understand. Oh, did I mention Hello Kitty too? Hello Kitty watches, dishwasher sets and even a sleeping bag to name a few things. If business doesn't get better for the owner here, I eventually will end up closing the store forever. Now it's a Korean establishment with books exclusively in Korean so if you are not fluent, you will be a fish out of water. This would be a great place to shop for your Korean parents, in-laws, or kids. The owners are extremely kind as well and provide excellent service if you can adequately request it in our native language.

OMPB didn't have it in-stock, either, but offered to order it. I was given recommendations on other books that fit my need. They got rid of their little wine bar several years ago but have expanded their children's section into a comfortable little nook that is perfect for finding your next best read. They also have the best gift selection for adults and children and tons of unique activity books (perfect for snowstorms like this weekend!). Love, love, love this shop.

Like any small bookstore it works because you can come and work with them for what you need, and make a visit of a walk about to anything else in Vienna. Not too crowded which I liked as it can get pretty tight since there's many books and many shelves. Service was fine although I didn't really talk to many people while there (was more preoccupied with finding the books and checking them out). I'd say this place has great value as the books i got (3) were charged a total of just under $5. I can see why the staff put up flyers stating to be mindful with how many books the customers get as they're priced pretty low, allowing you to collect a decent amount. I'll definitely be back to check this place out again :)

But on the way, I saw a sign saying more upstairs. That's where the real stock was kept. It somehow felt like there was twice as much space on the second floor than the first. Sci fi, fantasy, horror, Manga (limited),etc all the good stuff was on the second floor for me. Value wise it was worth stopping in here. Most books were about 7-10 which is at the high end for me but you know, this place is worth it. Selection is great and would definitely come back.

Downloading is the new method of getting what you want, or listen to it on YouTube. Today, the main reason to visit the store was to use the bathrooms. Normally, Barns&Nobles aren't know for clean bathrooms. Today I was happy to see the men's bathroom were clean. Some toilet paper was on each side of a toilet and one stall had the remnants off processed food in the bowl, but otherwise clean. The ladies bathroom wasn't so nice for my wife. Probably someone didn't bother flushing after their daily deposit. Nevertheless, It has been a while since I was here. I might come back next week to look up some new books to read. Speaking of reading. I remember Barns&Nobles getting rid of the Pornograpy Magazines, but today I saw one name brand that is still standing. PENTHOUSE. Yes, one of the first Porongrapic magazines that got my attention as a teenager. Now that I think about it, I see the hair styles of the 90's that considered cool, but most guys did not care about that. I am rambling here, but it was amusing to see the two different styles of the same brand in the store. Penthouse Letters and Penthouse are the two brands. One probably has more reading if you are into that more than pictures. Last thing. The last magazine I remember getting of Penthouse cost $4.95. These magazines are just below $15.00 before tax. Times have changed. To be completely transparent I came into the store about 10 minutes before they closed, however I…read morewas not initially aware of this till I was already browsing through vinyls. I will say that today they must have restocked, because I found many good vinyls which I had never seen at any Barnes and noble. Now, on the speaker they said they were closing in 10 minutes. A worker passes by me, and he asks if I'm looking for anything specific, and that I don't need to rush. He was very nice. I was almost done looking through when another employee who was in the front of the store called at me. She said "hi" loudly twice, trying to get my attention. I told her I would be there in one minute, and that I needed to finish. I wasn't able to look through the whole selection, but MY ISSUE IS, when I got to register, the worker was basically non verbal, except for asking cash or card and membership status. My phone wasn't working so I couldn't see if I had enough money, so I made small talk. I told her I was sorry for being so late, and I empathized with her, as I had also just closed at my workplace earlier. Anyways I ended up not having enough money, so she took the vinyl and I left. She was not the vibe, now I do understand that at the ends of shifts we are tired, I just wish she gave a little more and was a bit nicer. Anyways I'll go back later because I really do want to look at the selection in depth.

I met my cousin for dinner and we spent time before and after exploring the shelf's. Loved the layout and intimate vibe. Everything seems well organized and it all made sense to me and sections were clearly labeled. I enjoyed the bookstore so much I couldn't leave without grabbing at least one book.

I am SO in. We stopped in bc my husband's last name is Kramer and it's spelled the exact same and I saw the brunch/breakfast options and wanted to eat here. We loved it. Tried the avocado toast, brioche French toast and a smash burger and everything was delicious. Service was good, food was out quickly, portions were huge, all A+++. Enjoyed shopping after and will 100% come back. They are very active on Instagram and usually have seasonal specials and neat events.
