Just to give you an idea…read moreas to how much they did not want for me to expose them and the first-hand experience I had as a PAYING customer. Chief Pilot Rishab is favoring only Indian people. I am a student who failed a stage check because of a single instructor, and did not know why he failed me in the stage check. That particular instructor, Beswin, wouldn't give me a solid reason or explanation and just evaded the question when I asked him directly. When I talked to Rishab, he just sided with Beswin, and dismissed me entirely. It is such a shame when the school is such a beautiful school, that they would be biased, discriminatory, and even showing preferential treatment to their PAYING students by doing this. It is beyond mind-blowing to me that they can just disregard students like this. Your students are how you are in business. Without them, you would have no money, job, or a school establishment. Do not EVER attend here. Stay CLEAR and stay FAR FAR FAR away. They will just waste your money and time, which are your most valuable assets.

Paid $180 per person , as of summer 2024. Not sure if it's the right price here. Somewhere on…read moreinternet say experience flight is $139. Different club? Anyways while waiting we heard pilots talks- say they went up 4 hours the other day. But when we talked to our pilot he said it will come down in 20-30 minutes. Before we knew it a family member already walked on the runway. They have walkies and didn't even let us know about landing so hoped to take video. Going up is a pull and we want to capture a memory of soaring close to the field while they were coming down. We don't know which one is almost done as many aircraft's look the same. Kids work there are summer students so they don't really communicate. So don't blink. Don't lose sight (which is not possible because they were tiny up in the clouds). Bummer. People there are old men who are very nice. While they might fly daily but they don't understand this $180 gift is not cheap!!! It should be the experience of a lifetime for us. In sum, a lot of money spent but didn't get the best out of it. Understand that season is short for soaring and they want to make money to help running the club. Good experience of this special activity that we have not done before but sure if I would recommend it here. They need some improvements to make people feel special because soaring itself is very special.

I fall into the lasting longer category. After a looooonnnng wait, I finally got up for about a 20-25 minute flight with about 1/3 of it in tow up to altitude. My pilot was a really nice guy and explained a bunch of things. The view wasn't awesome due to it being a bit of a hazy day, so didn't get to see the snowcapped mountains in the distance. Not a huge deal to me as I was looking for the experience. The flight was ok, but it gets hot in the cockpit. stick your hand out the tiny window to get a breeze, so it wasn't too bad. I know this is a club and all, but some organization on the ground is really needed if you are taking reservations and have paying customers. I got on the list, about 4 people in front of me. was told about 2 hours, it took about 3. People were turned away, then new members came and took a few more people. Don't know when they got up, because there was really only 1 pilot available about the time I finally got up and while he had an awesome attitude, the man was hot, tired and really needed a break. Sitting there watching a couple of young club members doing 2 and getting ready for a 3rd flight sucked honestly and still waiting to get up. If you are trying to get people interested and have them paying, you should try to better accommodate them. The "staff" said the previous day only had a couple of people going up, so maybe I just happened to hit a bad day. The overall flying experience was neat and I can check it off the bucket list. I did find that this is not the hobby for me. I do recommend giving it a try if you are at all interested. I liked it, just the lack of organization really bothered me.

My experiences run the spectrum from good, bad to ugly. Once in awhile I will have an interaction with an aviation company that truly stands out as memorable and is defined by exceptional service and a wonderful customer experience. One such organization is Aurora Aviation at the Aurora State Airport south of Portland, OR. I initially sought the services of Aurora Aviation because of a particular type of aircraft that they offer for rent/training. My initial visit to Aurora Aviation was to inquire about the aircraft and to satisfy some technical requirements for my FAA Pilot certification. The front office staff were so helpful and courteous and took the time to answer all of my questions. What really impressed me was a flight instructor that took time from his day to visit with me and answer more questions and make sense of a few technical issues that I was attempting to resolve. Every interaction that I have had at Aurora Aviation has been extremely positive and with such professionalism and focus on the customer that they have earned my business for keeps. I was so impressed on my initial visit with the staff and the facility. Their efforts truly earned a five star rating!

3 stars because my son said he had a great time!…read more I found FlyIt through Groupon. Calling to schedule was easy; I mentioned the Groupon. We get there for the 30 minute discovery flight and all the staff are having a good time and eating pizza. It was a laid back experience. They didn't ask for my ID or the Groupon. My son's instructor taught him a lot about the Cessna they were flying in and how to make sure it's ready to go: visual check around the plane, checking the oil, gas, etc. The discovery flight ended a few mins early due to wind. I wish for a few things: That the instructor would have properly introduced himself. That they would have asked for the Groupon instead of sending me a $120 bill. That the staff would have made us feel more comfortable. I didn't bother asking if they had a bathroom because I felt unwelcome in a space that doesn't seem like it's made for us.
