I have nothing but great things to say about NY Imaging Specialists! What a great experience! I needed to get a CT Scan and tried to get an appointment with both NYU Langone and Northwell Health. NYU Langone is blowing up all over long island; imagine my shock (after speaking to 6 different people), when I was told they don't have the equipment to do my CT Scan, and I had to go all the way into Manhattan to get it done?! How is that even possible?! Next, I called Northwell Health, who is able to do the CT Scan but I would have to wait a month to get an appointment. Oy vey! Luckily, someone recommended NY Imaging Specialists, and Bingo! They took my insurance, and I was able to get an appointment for the following week! I was in and out within half an hour! I didn't even get a chance to sit down in their waiting area. lol Talk about service! The entire staff, from the front desk to the technician, were all so kind and professional. Truly a stress-free experience! And I got my results in two days! Highly Recommended!! read more

My doctors are associated with NY Imaging. I have been using their services (to make it easier for my doctors to get the images and reports) for years. NY Imaging open hours and days does not make is really to convenient for me, but I guess I just need to deal with that and stay positive to get better. The incompetence of the front desk staff and schedulers is appalling Recently, I was given an MRI (with contrast) appointment for 6:30pm The next day, i received at call from NY Imaging that they do not do MRI's with contrast at 6:30 and that they have to reschedule My whole day was ruined Horrible horrible horrible service from the schedulers and the front desk However, the most unbelievable and fantastic services from all the nurses and technicians read more

Imaging went well. I paid my copay of $15. I keep getting bills for that $15. I've called four times now to fix the issue and no one answers. I get an email last year that said their billing system is being fixed. Now I get a text that the $15 will be sent to collections. Today I did the "nuclear option," I called the doctor who referred me to NY Imaging and asked her to reconsider sending people there. read more

Scheduling Team is "On Point" - Nobody is playing around and wasting time; - They get you in immediately. This office do not return your calls once they get your insurance money and copay. I've been trying to get in touch with billing for a week and left several messages. I had an appointment for mammogram and had to return due to my images not being clear. Sound like the technician fault don't it, well I paid my first copay and refuse to pay a second one since this was not my fault. I had to take an additional day off to deal with this matter! This is unethical in so many ways. Hopefully I'll get a call back soon to settle this matter read more

I was sent to NEW YORK IMAGING by my Dr for a thyroid biopsy and told they could do this under sedation, so it would take the edge off the pain and my nerves. I received approx 5 reminders to arrive a half hour early and to fast at least 6 hrs ahead of time, leaving me without anything at 2 pm. Upon arriving I was told they were running late. It turned out to be an hour late. .Once inside I was met by a team given my IV (twice) (first time she missed my vein)and told I wouldn't remember a thing. When the procedure started that was NOT THE CASE. I screamed, I yelled, my head was covered, I was in excruciating pain, and begging them to stop. To give me more meds, but they only Asked me if I wanted to continue. How is this professional ? How is this compassionate ? How is this better than without sedation God forbid?I DO REMEMBER and I will never ever be put in that situation again. I became completely aware and woke up to smeared makeup a sore throat and walking papers. Which I promptly took and vowed never again return read more

My experience at NY Imaging was excellent. From the pre-appointment preparation from my nurse, Sara, I felt comfortable and clear on exactly what to expect on the day of my biopsy. When I arrived for my procedure, I was taken back within 15 minutes and was greeted by the same nurse who spoke to me on the phone. She was extremely comprehensive and re-assuring in what to expect during the procedure. She had a good sense of humor and she helped me feel at ease, during a stressful experience. Later that day, she called to check on me and the-assured me as to what to expect offering me the option to call her if I had any questions or concerns that night or in the coming days. The office was very clean and modern, and the office staff that I interacted with were professional and nice. I understand that everyone's experience is different, but I can only speak to mine- and I will continue to use this facility should the need arise. read more

Been here several times to know they treat seniors so kindly it warms my heart. It drives me crazy when you go to the dr and the tech comes and gets my mom and races in front of her and expect an 85 year old with knee issues and a cane to keep up. read more

Nice looking place is about it. Came for an appointment at 9am that I was anxiously waiting for after two weeks for them to tell me it was canceled . Meanwhile I wasn't able to do any of my normal activity nor eat normal. Paid 100$ in Ubers to get set home after a long night at work. Great customer service read more

I have had sonograms at other facilities throughout the years. All of them allow the pt/client to view the ultrasound images as the technician works. This NY Imaging technician refused to allow me to even look for a moment at the screen. In fact the set up was such that it was virtually impossible for me to view the screen at all. When I asked the tech if she could merely swivel the screen a few degrees she refused and said "I have to work like this." All she would have had to do was to swivel the screen and turn a few degrees and both of us could view the screen and her work would be unaffected. I feel as if the intransigence of this technician was in response to an order from her higher bosses. It seemed as if she were constrained as well, because she was professional and courteous, otherwise. But the procedure in its form, preventing me from seeing anything and keeping me completely in the dark for the entire 45 minutes or so shows this company is unconcerned with its treatment of patients. Rather than providing a holistic, therapeutic experience it chooses to dehumanize and invalidate the person there. It treats patients as mere commodities on a slab of metal rather than giving us the professional and medical courtesy and respect it should strive for. read more
