Walked in and sat there for an hour and a half to fix one nail and everyone working (5 workers) acted like I didn't exist! Friend who went with me got a full set and walked out with hairs in her nails and very bad designs, looks like a toddler did it. Other friend walked in asking for square shaped french tips and walked out with the most horrendous shaped nails i've ever seen. Very dissatisfied. Very bad service. Wish I could give 0/0 stars. Tried for the first time for nail dip service and Got a sloppy work done corners of nails missing dip when I showed her a few that she missed she tried to cut the corner of my nail instead of buffing and re dip it I stopped her because it hurt as I found a few more nails the same I was over it at that point she did not clean my cuticles properly either and she then applied oil on my hands without asking to cover the dryness on cuticles not happy with that either however I love doing my own nails and pedi but sometimes the lack of time or energy forces me to let someone else do it for me highly disappointed at this place I just purchased led lamp gel nail polish and a few kits for nail dip very affordable cheaper than what I paid for a sloppy service at this place I will do it at home from now on I will save $$ & disappointments and i wanted to give it a try but I give it a 1 review in my book I do a better job. This is my go to spot to get my nails and feet done! I have been to several in town and NY Nails is the best. I get my nails done regularly and they are always flawless. I like unique nails with designs and I am always impressed with the outcome. My tween daughters occasionally go with me and the staff always gives them A+ treatment and makes them feel special. I had a pedicure and a gel pedicure. Everything was rushed.; there is no pause to remove the cuticle. The "massage" was a figment of my imagination. Boda bing, boda bang... onto the next step. This is the first gel pedicure I had. Again rushed. The next day I had one chipped nail. The following day two more. 5 days later, there was a wide area between the gel and the cuticles. I've not had a gel pedicure before but I won't pay NY Nails for another opportunity to do mine again. I'm sure some one else in Williamsburg does a much better job read more

Amazing!! Gabby did a mani and pedi. She was engaging with me the entire time. She did a fabulous job on my nails. She tried a new technique and it came out really nice. While I was there some older people came in for pedicures and all of the staff were loving and attentive. They helped them to their chairs and made sure they were comfortable. They were busy, and handling walk-ins, phone calls and still were pleasant and attentive. For a mani/pedi it took about an hour. I Have been here twice to get a manicure and Ms. Betty did a great job both times! I don't get manicures often but It feels really good to have my nails cut down and evened out. The first time I went was on my lunch break and I was glad I was able to get everything done within that hour. The second time I went was on a Saturday at around 1pm, she had a client but I was able to sit at her station and soak my hands until she was ready. Ms. Betty was very pleasant and took care of my nails. My nails grow evenly and nicely now. i'll continue to come here when I need to get my nails cut and cleaned. read more

It must have been the perfect storm, all forces were gather together at one specific location plotting against me, all to ruin my nails and my day. I decided to go to the NY Nail shop just to get a quick manicure. The place is near where I get my lunch and I've been there a couple of times before. They did okay work in the past. I figured grab a manicure, grab lunch and head back to work. I get there (NY Nails) maybe 4 other people in chairs getting their nails done, I was told 10 - 15mins wait. 25 minutes later, I'm asked to take a seat and an "old" lady cuts my nails using cuticle nipper throughout the whole affair, when she was done I had 5 minutes to drive back to work (10 min drive,) and I didn't get a chance to get any lunch! I've been here twice. The first time I had a good experience. I had a gel full set done by who i believe is the owner. She was very nice and cared about her work and making sure I was content with my manicure. My second time here was a nightmare. I had a male (I don't know his name) doing my nails and he was very rude the whole time. I asked for a certain shape for my nails and he started shaking his head and being rough while applying my nail tips. I asked politely if I could have someone else do my nails and he started cutting off the tips of my nails and told me to call and make an appt with someone else if I had an issue with him. He seemed to be upset as he was literally shaking in anger. Terrible customer service by this employee. Go elsewhere as no one should have to deal with being treated that way. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but I had the worst nail experience at this location. My nails were cut down so short that they were bleeding. 5 days later and im still in pain. The nail tech kept stopping to go and wax people. It took me 2.5 hours to get a manicure and pedicure and nobody else was in the shop. It hasn't even been a week and all my gel polish is peeling off. My daughter got her nails painted and within 2 hours her polish came off. The people working there were also arguing the entire time. read more

I had made an appointment for me and my friend and we waited an hour to be seen. Apparently, they had taken walk-ins even though we had a scheduled appointment! Then, the nail tech doing my friend's pedicure rudely shoved the menu in my face since I was paying and tried to up-sell services. She rushed the pedicure which was not appreciated after the long wait. My nail tech, Gabby, was the bright spot of the experience. She took her time and did a lovely job on my nails. I go there because of her, but will have to consider going elsewhere if they do not honor their scheduled appointments and try to push unwanted services. read more
