Called ahead and asked if they had time for a walk in for a pedicure and fill and they said yes come in 30 minutes. I come and was taken to my chair and given the color options and 30 minutes later Mimi starts my pedi. One woman was walking round talking and had to ask me what color I wanted 3 times because she would walk away to talk again. Then she tells me its too late to get my nails done with a design, and feet have yet to be started while she has no client this whole time. I don't speak their language but it sounded like she did not want to take care of me. Mimi comes to do my pedicure and was nice and making conversation, idk if it was because she is always that nice or she could see I was already not happy with the service and wait but she made the visit pleasant enough for me to consider returning for her service. Price was ridiculous but the work appeared good so I paid it. $120 total. Like $30 for a basic pedicure with callus removal and like $90 for a fill with design and length. I had her cut down just how much my nails grew which meant a charge for that and a charge to reshape because a coffin cut down looks like a square of course. Happy with the end product visually. Around 8-10 days my nails start lifting, i run my fingers through my hair and its caught under the nails. 10-12 days half the nails on my left hand (non dominant) are lifting to where i can see under the nails and one peels clean off. I've always kept my nails for 3/4 weeks and they dont grow much, so for them to not last 2 weeks in insane to me. I went in to show them and ask if there was anyway to fix them and the woman who appears to run the place says that they only do a week guarantee and their customers get fills every 1 1/2-2 weeks. She said she could give me a $5 discount on a fill. Also pedicure was chipping on day 5 but most places suck at making pedicures last ever since gel on toes got popular. Bug as of day 13 most of toes dont have polish left. This could have been a one time thing and may not speak on the quality of work typically done but if a customer is losing nails with minimal growth in LESS THAN 2 weeks, as a business owner, I'd want to rectify that problem and ensure my customers know that I care about the work I do and put out. She brought up the time that goes into it, which is valid, but your customers put money and trust in your work also. If you only give a one week guarantee and dont expect your work to last past that, you shouldn't be open for business. Despite my nails not lasting, I give Mimi benefit of the doubt that this was a one time thing and appreciate her professionalism and demeanor. read more

I decided to come back since I initially had a pleasant experience. Walked in, waited 10 mins and wasn't acknowledged or even greeted by any of the 4 nail technicians or any staff for that matter. A simple hello would have been sufficient to find out what services I needed or if I even had an appointment. I had a pleasant experience at this salon. The staff was friendly, very attentive and so kind. I'm very shy and often times I never speak up or ask for anything, The gentleman who did my nails made my whole day. He took the time to swatch a few powders for me, I was able to not only avoid my anxiety just to ask a question, but I actually fell in love with a color that I wasn't even going for. A friend and I went out to have a pedicure. The place we had planned to go to was closed, so we decided to try Fancy Nails and Spa. It was our first time here, so we weren't sure they would be able to see us without an appointment. We were greeted and then seated for a couple of minutes, then taken to our stations. The salon was very clean and staff was welcoming and friendly. My technician was Tweety and my friend's technician was Lana. They were both wonderful, very kind and friendly, and also did a fantastic job. Tweety turned my icky monster feet into baby feet! It had been a little over a month since my last pedicure, so my feet were in rough shape because I never wear shoes. Usually, I end up with a few small cuts on cuticles when it's been too long between pedicures, but Tweety was very gentle and did not cut me, yet managed to do a better job than anyone else that I've been to since I first started getting pedicures a couple of years ago. The location is easy to miss if you're just driving around, because some of the businesses around it are closed. You can find it near the Regal Kiln Theatre, in Kiln Creek. I'm so glad we found it.
