Last month, I contacted two dent removal companies on Yelp to remove a dent on the rear quarter panel of my Tahoe. The Dent Guy and NY Paintless Dents. After sending pictures to them both, the Dent Guy told me I needed to go to a body shop as the dent wasn't repairable. I then told him my cousin, who does dent removal for a living and was visiting for Christmas, looked at the dent and said it could be done easily. The Dent Guy then retracted his opinion and said he wanted $650 - and that I would need to wait 3 weeks! What a joke I thought I thought! I contacted NY Paintless Dents through Facebook for a quote on repairing a small dent on my SUV. Provided a picture and received a quote. Fair warning, they are a mobile shop and need either warm weather or during cold weather, an enclosed or heated garage to work. This is because the glue system that is common for this type of repair only works above certain temperatures. Eddie was great. He arrived earlier than anticipated which was a nice plus as I had a busy day ahead. He was friendly, professional, and above all performed quality work. He did a quality repair on the initial dent and also polished the area as well due to some light surface scratches.
