Beware!!! The Dent Doctor is a total SCAM!!!!! I am not a person to write a bad review about a business, especially as a business owner. When I say this guy is a scam artist, I mean it. I called Chris the owner because my brand new Truck got hit and my wife's car had a few door dings. Came to my house on time which was a plus, but as soon as he got out of his truck, the only thing good was him arriving on time. He tried to pull the bait and switch immediately. Sent him pictures of the damage before hand and was given a price. The second he got out of the car, he told me that this was going to so much more. When I said he was trying to pull a bait and switch, he got real irritated and started saying he would leave and he has thousands of customers and doesnt need my business. I figured he was already here, I took the day off and I need the cars fixed, so I agreed. BIG MISTAKE. he started to work and I had to leave for 20 minutes. Mistake #2 on my part. When I came back the 3 small dings on my wifes car now looked like they had chicken pox and everywhere he pushed the paint is now cracked. When I asked him what is going on, he started yelling at me and said he can't make me happy and doesnt need my business. I would NEVER yell at a customer. He told his helper to pack up and said I don't need your money, I have thousands of customers. I was in awe that someone can ruins someone's personal stuff and not care. He knew he was in the wrong and just left. I brought the car to a very reputable detail shop and now they said that he ruined the 2 door panels. I need to bring it to auto body shop and have them fixed now and repainted. This is going to cost $1000's to get fixed Beware!!!! read more

I have a stage3 big build S3 that has probably 20+ grand into the build motor turbo etc. I am super anal and super hard on people that work on my car. This is why I mostly do everything but this was a job I just could not tackle. Chris was honest extremely respectful of my expectations and told me it will not be a new door skin but it will be 95% there. Can agree more had three dents open on the body line. From an anal perspective I am 20 of 1-10. This car is aluminum body panels and not easy to work on hell even a freaking polisher can dent the damn thing. Misano red paint is super expensive a door skin $1200 if you can find one, apparently Audi are on short supply, the install, primer paint, and blend the entire side of the car! At the end of the day you are Looking at a minimum of $2500. I am 100% satisfied and can't thank Chris T enough. All these negative comments are either people that don't understand the PDR process or expectations that a PDR process can only do soo much. It's repair not a replacement people. There were body line dents as well as flat panel dents. I removed the inner door panel and outer window trim in efforts to help chris gain access he reduced my price by almost $50 for the help, I was so satisfied I gave the original quote amount. My biggest complaint is that this business matched equally poor quality with terribly bad customer service skills. I gave this person ample opportunities to make good on a terrible "repair" job and the answer was always "I have been doing this for 28 years, ..." It's likely due to the fact that no one uses dent repair twice if the work is poor. I would suggest looking around and getting more background references when using this type of service. I went from a brand new door with a simple dent, to a golf-ball surface looking "repair" Sad, disgusting and no recourse is a reason to look elsewhere. read more

He cancelled and rescheduled at the last minute four different times, all with crazy excuses. The last one he rescheduled was for Monday morning at 7:30. On Monday morning, he texted me saying he'd be an hour late, then later texted that he was cancelling AGAIN because his "phone's GPS wasn't working." I offered to send him screenshots of the directions. He declined my offer and cancelled. I texted him that my husband and I have been rearranging our schedules around his cancelling and if he couldn't come that Monday morning, we'd find someone else. Text a pic of the dent on my 2007 M5 and received an estimate of $300. Made an appointment Chris shows on time. A kid gets out of the car starts setting up to take the dent out. From his motions it's clear he has minimal experience so I ask him :" How long have you been doing this? One month - but I'm really good at it." Red flag but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Kid is working on my car Chris is sitting in his truck not once did he come out to look at the dent or see wtf this kid is doing just yelling instructions from the car. So I go over start talking with Chris. Talks a good game. Long story short I can see the kid put several dings in the dent making it worse. Chris finally gets out of the truck and tries to save what damage this kid did. Long story short repair looks like SHIT. Chris starts telling me it's a no access dent, blah blah blah. -Maybe if you got out of the truck to take a look and told me that beforehand I would know what expect. He kept telling me he'd refund the money, but then would give me the run around whenever I called to collect it. Finally, I got fed up and called the DentDoctor corporate office in Arkansas. I was put through to the CEO. I presented him with before and after pics and a detailed account of what happened. After they reviewed the case, I was contacted with an apology and a full refund from the franchise. Job was cosmetic repair to roof and hood of car damaged by tree fall. Car was 100% functional before Chris Turchiano arrived on the scene. -Turchiano botched this $800 job and broke his promises -He promised "95%" repair to car with cosmetic tree-fall damage; actual result was maybe 50% -He blew some fuses when removing the headliner, tried to fix it by working on the fuse box for an hour but totally messed up the car's electrics (instrument panel, alternator, power steering, and air bags), and car would no longer run. Turchiano promised he would cover the cost of repair at a repair shop. -Broke the retaining clips on the overhead light console and now it hangs down -Car had to be towed to repair shop to fix electrics. Turchiano broke his promise and refused to pay the $224 I paid to repair his mess. -Turchiano says he is "licensed and insured" but I could not find his license on the NYS web page. I opened my door and noticed that the weather stripping had been detached and saw the 2 plugged holes but the plugs were not set in but held in by chewing gum(UGH!) I made the mistake of having my car dealership try to fix the dings when I left my car there for servicing, and i don't know who they called to do the job, but i had to get the professional Dent Dr. to get the job done! Chris was amazing, and I should've just called him from the beginning. His mobile service was very prompt. Matter of fact, i also had some dings on my vinyl roof, I asked Chris to see if he could pull the dings out, Well he was able to pull the dings out, but unfortunately since it was a vinyl roof, some of the vinyl torn off with it. The Dent Dr. wanted to make things right by replacing my whole vinyl roof! This was unheard of...so now i have a brand new roof and no dings...He is the MAN! WHAT A WAIST OF TIME!!! Do yourself a favor and save your time! As the advertisement suggest i send images of what i needed done (very simple fixes on my lease return). He sends me a quote and a day and time...the appointment was set for him to come to my job on a friday at 3:00pm and it would take about an hour. I'm thinking "great...it'll be done before i need to leave at 5:00pm!" He sends me a text a 3:00 that he will not be there till 4:45pm...i tell him "that's not good cuz i need to leave work at 5pm". I ask him if it was possible i would leave work EARLY and head home so he can come do the work at my house at 4:45...he says "sure". I LEAVE WORK EARLY...and then get a text at 4:00 THAT NOW he will not be there till 6pm. At 6:15 i send him a text to ask if he was going to be at my home soon. He texts me back that there is traffic and he will arrive in 45 minutes (NOW making it close to 7pm) I ask him if he will have enough light to finish the job...2 minutes later he calls me...tells me he is on the Southern State in traffic "because HERE on long island there is TRAFFIC at this time" (HE TELLS ME as if i didnt know where i lived) COMPLETELY RUDE and nasty. He THEN asks me "well you DONT need anything painted do you? cuz I DONT PAINT"...ummmmm no...i sent you the pictures a week ago. Then proceeds to tell me that he does NOT give receipts. I told him that i needed a receipt to give to my lease company to show them i had the work done...at this point i say to him "dont even bother to come" . WAISTED my entire day waiting for this guy to come.
