Pizza is amazing I'm originally from New Jersey and it almost taste like back home definitely my favorite in Tennessee

On August 21, 2026, I visited the Hendersonville, NY Pie location to place a to-go order. Unfortunately, the server, Autumn, made me feel uncomfortable with her racist and harassing comments. This was my second visit to this location; my first visit was on July 31, 2026, when I placed an online order totaling $43.16. During today's visit, I went inside to order garlic knots and a Greek salad. When she asked what salad dressing I preferred, I said Caesar. Her response was, "I know y'all like ranch." I told her I don't use ranch, and she then suggested they have a good raspberry balsamic vinaigrette. I insisted, "No, I would like the Caesar, please." When she asked for my name for the order, I told her Tonia, and she replied that she hadn't heard that name in a long time. She went on to say that she had a friend she grew up with named Tonia, only to correct herself and say her friend's name was actually Geniva. As I paid for my order, I noticed her patting her head. When I asked her why she was doing that, she said, "Ain't that what y'all do?" She then turned to me and asked why we pat our heads. At this point, I asked her for a refund. She responded, "Don't y'all wear wigs?" I repeated my request for a refund, and she finally agreed. Despite having left her a tip, I cannot overlook the racist comments directed toward the Black community. I will not patronize a restaurant that is hostile toward Black people. read more

Went to New York pie after lunch, but before dinner. It was very slow. Order was done within minutes, hot fresh to the table. Only thing I would recommend is ordering extra cheese. read more

Shallow, crisp, clean and easy to delineate items from each other. 8.8/10 Antipasto salad Made fresh before me. Did an excellent job balancing textures and flavors! 9/10 Beer service Cold crisp and ready to refill. Overall experience walk in waiter. 10/10 ALL STAFF TODAY were on point. Available. Present. Stopped in for a quick bite. Classic NY style pizza similar to what you'd find in a mall up north. Service was quick. The sauce had good flavor, the toppings were fresh, pepperoni did lean a bit on the greasy side. We will stop in again if in the mood for a NY style pizza. read more

Since pizza is my first language, had to try this place I found coming home from work. Nice little interior and clean bathrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful as they could be with a to-go order. I got a large cheese which was $20. Higher end of the acceptable price scale, but since it's an 18" that's acceptable. Good crust not snap to speak of but a nice chew. Good flavors on the sauce but the cheese is a little greasy. Overall nothing to snub a nose at. Best family Friday night pizza I've had in the area. I would never call it the best in New York, but it definitely has that NY vibe and for middle TN you can't really ask for more than that. 7.5/10 3.8/5 stars rounded up to 4 for yelp. read more

For the past few years it hasn't been as good, but I go to because I miss NYC style pizza and want to support a local business. Supreme Pizza was good, generous toppings, a 7.1 on the Dave Portnoys scale in my opinion. A little on the pricey side compared to other comproable pizzas. We got it delivered so never went inside however I have been to the one in Bellevue and it was nice. The delivery was quick and was still fairly hot so that was a +. I'm a pizza lover and just moved to Hendersonville, Tn. So far, I've found three places I really like. This review is for "NY Pie" The pizza there is really good. By the slice (lunch special) or bring a pie home, you won't be disappointed! Great pizza sauce, lots of cheese and every topping you could ever want. The crust is perfect. I had the lunch special and had two different slices and a soda and got a cool discount too. Clean, and well organized. They're located in a small strip center just off the highway. Parking might be tough during football season, but you'll survive. I have a buddy from New York and he really likes it too. I've had this place in the past and it was halfway decent. Now.... Totally inedible. Couldn't pick up a piece without the middle completely falling apart because the dough was raw. Cheese was barely cooked. I was so tempted to ask for it to be cooked well done, but I wanted to give them a shot at their normal cook. Crust tasted like it is from a frozen dough ball, and the sauce seemed like it was straight from a can. Really disappointed that we spent our money here. The decor is drab and outdated as well. I was craving a "real" pizza. So I hit the yelp app and called upon its mighty wisdom to tell me about good pizza nearby. The name spoke to me. If it was half as good as the name suggests, I'd be just fine. I called ahead for a take out pizza. Nothing fancy. Large Green Pepper Mushroom. It's amazing how many pizza joints can fall short on this simple request. Here's the good news.. they nailed it! In a proper NY kind of way. Thin, not overwhelmed with sauce, slightly chewy crust, fresh veges. Boom. That's how you do it. The next time I am passing thru Hendersonville, I'll stop in for an actual sit down. read more

If you like delicious New York style pizza this place will not disappoint. You can fold it, eat it straight, or hell, even roll it up if you want. Either way the pizza is delicious. My daughter likes the toasted ravioli. I gave 4 stars because they changed the way they prepare it from last time we ordered. They weren't toasted and the breading was soggy. So I can't recommend those and we might have to get them at Kroger, which is what it seems they did. Get the pizza...be happy! read more

The WORST customer service up front. No one knows whats going on and how long until your pizza is done they say 20 more minutes after it was supposed to be ready bc it had been 15, so come back and they say 10 more minutes all for a freakin small 10 inch white pizza. Then they look at you like you're the crazy one...no apologies no anything just rude people. I will never go back, and the pizza is NOT GOOD! Its greasy and soggy. I stopped by NY pie for lunch this week to try one of their slices, mostly out of curiosity and to see if the pizza truly tastes like NY pizza. The pepperoni slice I got was okay. I would say it's similar to what you might find in any given pizzeria in the suburbs in NY. You'll find your standard toppings here, nothing really crazy or out of the ordinary. You order your food at the counter and they bring it over to you wherever you chose to sit. Behind the counter staff were arguing with each other pretty loudly which was a little uncomfortable. read more

This is my go to pizza spot in Hendersonville. The taste is always consistent and they don't cheap out on the toppings. My go to is the garlic chicken. It's an amazing pizza with grilled chicken that doesn't fall heavy. I get one for myself every single time. 2nd favorite it the supreme pizza is great. Lots of toppings, but not over done. The flavors all work and their crust holds it all perfectly. For the classics. You can go wrong with a pepperoni or cheese pizza. Everything you want without being to greasy. The garlic knots, hell yeah. They are great and garlicky without a super drenched butter feeling. Best in town. read more

We've been here twice now and we will always stop in when we're in Hendersonville because this pizza is fantastic. It's so nice to find authentic NY-style pizza in TN and the tasty is great. They also have excellent toasted ravioli and we will definitely get them again next time. The garlic knots are just okay, but the ravioli and pizza make up for them. Just went on Friday evening. My buddy raves about the place and I must say that I thought it was average pizza at best. Enjoy a well cooked pie but this one was in a bit too long. The biggest turn off is it significantly overpriced in my opinion. $33 for a large pepperoni and 2 drinks. read more

By far the closest thing you can get to NY/NJ style pizza in the Nashville area. Owner is actually from NJ so he knows the ropes well and makes a great pizza. I really like their lunch special, two slices and a soda for like $7 or somewhere around there. Full pizzas are great too, the large pizzas are huge and great for sharing or leftovers. We love the food and appreciate their efforts to close the dining area and only support takeout. Also their attempt to keep you safe by requiring masks before entering. Of course, like yesterday, there was the customer with no mask standing there coughing near the counter where our food was sitting. Because he was big and had a gun on his belt and chains, skull bandana, etc., nobody from the restaurant challenged him. We ended up leaving and eating leftovers. The virus in now mutating to be much more capable of spreading so we will be eating at home and will miss their pizza and cheese sticks! Hope they can stay in business, we would miss them. read more
