I was in town for Thanksgiving and we ended up going here for dinner on Wednesday night. The place was packed and we asked a group at a nearby table for recommendations and their response was everything is good so we ordered pretty much everything on the menu to share. The fried baloney sliders were amazing as were the meatball sliders. We actually started with fried mushrooms with a horseradish sauce which was off the charts. Pizza was very good, probably a 7.6 on Bar Stool rating. We made a mistake getting the hot sauce on the side on Gene's Nashville Hot chicken sliders. Definitely a bar (beer only) that serves food. My wife and I even met some neighbors Trent & Kim and we met Josh and his beautiful wife. Our service was tip top so let's get to the food. Egg rolls, these are not your average egg roll, these are crisp on the outside and the inside is cooked perfectly and the flavor with the spicy sweet dip'n sauce was incredible, some of the best egg rolls we've ever had 10 outta 10! Pizza! Crust was crispy and thin, the sauce was perfect and the toppings blanketed this pizza perfectly, 10 outta 10! Music was so good, we heard such a cool mix of all genres, and the atmosphere inside is absolutely like being at a best friend's house party. We are so happy we found this place, absolutely one of the best Pubs we've been to in America, and we've traveled all over the country and spent 3 years in Las Vegas where pub life is huge, Main Street Pub & Eatery out does them all, no one needs flash and fancy decorations when you can come here and get such incredible food, service and be around such awesome local people. I have been in the Main St Pub a few times since I moved into the area and never been disappointed. It is a cozy little place, great juke box and outstanding service. And, the food is really good - which is the main idea. The sandwiches are all good -- have had the meatball, philly cheese and chicken parm. I also ordered the pizza a few times and very delicious; thin crust that they slice up New Haven style -- really great tastse with that New Haven like crust. Really thumbs up. We were looking for a casual place to pop in for a bite after dropping our car at the night drop for service. Main Street Pup was right up the street and had good Yelp reviews. We passed it up but were finally able to find it. We weren't too sure of our choice because it looked to be a bit of a hole in the wall. We were greeted right away told to sit wherever we'd like. Server was friendly and made us feel right at home. We got a salad and a pizza to share. Both were wonderful. Maybe one of the best pizzas we've had in Middle Tennessee and we've had a lot of them, living here for over 20 years. We love the cracker thin crispy crust. It was loaded with big, fresh toppings and cheese. The sauce was great too. Our server and others checked in on us and were very attentive. They all thanked us as we were leaving and told us to have a great week. We'll definitely be back. read more

Found this place on Yelp after a soccer game when searching for a kid friendly restaurant. Cute little place, but was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the restaurant. Took the kiddos in the bathroom to wash their hands before having lunch, and it was pretty dirty. The food was pretty good, but a little pricey for the amount you get. Chicken sandwich and onion rings were nice and crispy. It did take a quite while to get the food. The kid friendly area was not crowded, but I think the bar area was super busy. It would have been nice if the chalkboard was able to be used, as it was covered in chalk drawings. Overall, food was decent but the place needs a little cleaning and sprucing up as some of the plastics chairs were in rough shape. Ducked into this place on a Thurs night, starving and ready to eat. First thing: they put the "Pub" before the "Eatery" for good reason. This is absolutely more of a dive bar than a restaurant. It has personality, though, and the service was great - extremely attentive, warm and friendly. My friend ordered the volcano burger minus the Cheez-Whiz (though it came to her with the whiz on there anyway), and I got the bone-in wings - half sweet chili, half mango habanero. Our waitress raved about the Brussels, so I chose those as my side. The wings were solid though not as spicy as the name would imply, Brussels were inedible (undercooked, tough, and despite being covered in Parmesan, virtually flavorless), and the burger was merely passable. Can't speak to the drinks since we didn't order any, but waitresses/bar backs: if you're reading this, please stop pushing the Brussels and just recommend the fries as a side. Better yet, if you can convince the owner to take those things off the menu, do that. These three stars are mostly for the friendliness of the staff and due to me not being able to do half-stars, otherwise I'd rate it a 2.5. Again, laid back place with the nicest people you'd ever wanna meet, but the eats - even for bar food - ranges from "okay" to "wtf why." Great place for a beer, but if you're hungry?
