Grandma's 18"not bad toppings but the cook fell asleep and burnt the crust ‼For $32 expected much more.

Got mine to go, can't speak on the ambiance. In town for work it's close to the hotel. Decent toppings But for $32 and some change I expected more than this. The crust is clearly "Burnt". Disappointed

Stopped in for a quick bite. Classic NY style pizza similar to what you'd find in a mall up north. Service was quick. The sauce had good flavor, the toppings were fresh, pepperoni did lean a bit on the greasy side. We will stop in again if in the mood for a NY style pizza.

Since pizza is my first language, had to try this place I found coming home from work. Nice little interior and clean bathrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful as they could be with a to-go order. I got a large cheese which was $20. Higher end of the acceptable price scale, but since it's an 18" that's acceptable. Good crust not snap to speak of but a nice chew. Good flavors on the sauce but the cheese is a little greasy. Overall nothing to snub a nose at. Best family Friday night pizza I've had in the area. I would never call it the best in New York, but it definitely has that NY vibe and for middle TN you can't really ask for more than that. 7.5/10 3.8/5 stars rounded up to 4 for yelp.

Large (18 inch) half pepperoni, half mushroom.

I've been going to this place for years and in the beginning it was good. For the past few years it hasn't been as good, but I go to because I miss NYC style pizza and want to support a local business. If you plan on eating at the restaurant, you order at the front and then take a number and they will take your order out to you. The staff are friendly.

We are pizza freaks not snobs. Stopped in to grab a few slices before heading to the movie theater. Pizza was good. And service was good. Based on what we had we would come again. We didn't get much cause you have to save room for popcorn

What a gem! When relocated NY/NJ people have a need for authentic NY pizza, NYPie in Hendersonville is the place. Fresh, thin, crispy and quality ingredients. Nick & Mike are gentlemen and def know how to make a great pie. Voted by two relocated NY/NJ transplants. A MUST!

Have come to really enjoy this place. Pizza is great and much better than anything around that I've tried. Always look forward to pizza when it comes from NY Pie!

    Horribly undercooked pizza

I've had this place in the past and it was halfway decent. Now.... Totally inedible. Couldn't pick up a piece without the middle completely falling apart because the dough was raw. Cheese was barely cooked. I was so tempted to ask for it to be cooked well done, but I wanted to give them a shot at their normal cook. Crust tasted like it is from a frozen dough ball, and the sauce seemed like it was straight from a can. Really disappointed that we spent our money here. The decor is drab and outdated as well. Staff was friendly, but that was our one bright spot about the whole experience.

We got a large pizza with banana peppers, pepperoni, and sausage. It was absolutely pressure! Definitely bring your fam here!!!

My family and I have been Mug Club members for over three years across four different locations, and we've visited every TailGate taproom except one. This opinion isn't based on one bad experience, it's a pattern we've seen across the company. As Mug Club members, we've watched the value of the program decline. They advertise 20 oz pours, yet the pours often seem noticeably short. Members were invited to a Mug Club appreciation party that advertised free beer, pizza, and a free t-shirt, only to find the free beer was limited and the "free" shirts cost $20+. On an earlier visit this year, happy hour for mug clubbers was still being advertised until 5pm, but after ordering four more beers we were told happy hour had actually been changed to end at 4 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. without any formal notice, communication to mug clubbers, nothing. We weren't informed until after we were charged full price for not 1, not 2, but 4 beers. Taken together, these experiences leave customers feeling misled rather than appreciated. The most disappointing part is the attitude toward loyal customers. Hearing "you'll be back because you're Mug Clubbers" says a lot about how ownership views the people who have supported the business for years. Loyalty feels expected rather than valued. I also have concerns about how employees are treated. TailGate advertises health insurance, yet many non-management employees reportedly aren't scheduled enough hours to qualify for those benefits. It appears that Wes (the owner) is more focused on controlling criticism and the overall narrative of the company than addressing the issues that generate it, leaving employees/managers to deal with the fallout. TailGate built its reputation on great beer, great staff, and a loyal customer base. The employees continue to deliver on that. Unfortunately, ownership's bait-and-switch approach and apparent disconnect from both customers and staff are hurting a brand that many of us genuinely want to support.

We drove by Jolly Ollie's before, but it was shut down due to repairs from a tornado. I'm happy to say that it's now open with great food, friendly service, and lively music upstairs in the bar. Yelp said that Jolly Ollie's was open until 11pm, but the dining room closes at 10pm. We got there about 9:30pm, but Sydney didn't turn us away. She was friendly and welcoming, and she was very attentive all night. We ordered an appetizer of fried mozzarella and the Southwest egg rolls. The mozzarella was crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The egg rolls were just as delicious. For our main dishes, we ordered a large pepperoni and a large meat lovers (aka Shipwrecked). I eat a TON of pizza, and the pepperoni pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Hands down. The sandwiches, pasta, and other menu items looked good. My son wants to come back for the baked ziti, and my wife wants to try the wings. If you like to play pool, sing karaoke, or want a stiff drink, visit their upstairs bar. Wide open space and well-lit. I hopped upstairs and the people seemed friendly and having a good time. Sydney told us that their outdoor patio has a bar and they have live music on the weekends. Highly recommend checking out Jolly Ollie's. And when you visit, be sure to request Sydney. She'll brighten your day with her positive attitude and excellent service.

While I never had a go-to pizza spot in Goodlettsville, Long Hollow Pizza may be that spot! I popped in recently to pick up a pie, cheese sticks an a salad. Process of ordering and picking up was easy. I went with a large pepperoni and mushroom pie. I definitely underestimated their "large", because this thing was huge! The pizza was excellent. New York style crust, but with a bit more chew a substance. It was a really nice eat! Not sauced too heavily, good spread of toppings and not too greasy...it held its own from pick up to bite, not floppy at all! To go with, I ordered cheese bread with extra marinara. The cheese bread was decently cheesy and the marinara was tasty. The Caesar salad was good size and came with two dressings, which I appreciated. In addition to you standard pizzas, they have a solid selection of specialty pies from chicken and waffle to Nashville hot, cheeseburger and more. Also, they offer a good menu of other things such as wings, sammies, calzones, tots, and a few other specialty items. Service from entry to exit was friendly and helpful. Space was clean and decently kept. A little dated on some aspects, but all in all, decent vibes for a local pizza pub. Overall, really enjoyed the goods from Long Hollow Pizza & Pub!

The fresh mozzarella was fantastic with the tomato and acidic balsamic glaze flavor that works so well. Just a great light perfect start and so fresh. The staff did a great job explaining the menu and helping us understand the different dishes, which we really appreciated. We ordered a variety of pastas and pizzas so we could try a bit of everything. The pastas were the stars of the meal. All four pasta dishes were excellent, each with its own unique flavor, and we thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. Our pizzas came out a little later, and by then we were already full from the pasta. We ended up taking them home, and they were still delicious even when we ate them later. The only downside to our visit was the temperature inside the restaurant. I'm not sure if the air conditioning wasn't working properly, but it was quite warm inside, and by the end of lunch we were sweating, which made the experience a little less comfortable. Overall, the food was excellent, especially the pasta, and we'd definitely come back to try more of the menu. Hopefully, the temperature issue was just a one-time occurrence.
