There is a lot of confusion about breast feeding, pumping, and too many distractions in the market place that encourages formula over breastfeeding... or anything that is a profit center really. Thanks to Inna, I was able to establish a healthy supply day one, and we are still going strong at 10 months! I am so thankful to her for being there for me at 8 months pregnant and then immediately after birth. Absolutely horrible experience. Avoid if you're a new mom in need of real support. I made an appointment with Inna from NYC Breastfeeding Solutions when my baby was just one week old. After filling out an extensive onboarding form and confirming a 3:00 PM visit, I asked her to inform me of any delays ahead of time since timing a feeding is critical when dealing with latching issues, which I had clearly explained. She didn't respond until 3:00 PM, simply saying she was "on her way but might be a little late." I asked for an ETA since my baby was already hungry and distressed. She didn't reply again until 3:40 PM with "it says 3:57." She finally showed up one hour late with no prior notice and, worst of all, no apology. Instead, she brushed it off and told me I needed to "relax" because trains are delayed. I have lived in NYC for 10 years, and a full-hour delay within Manhattan is highly unlikely. This was deeply unprofessional and completely lacking in empathy, especially in a field where timing and emotional sensitivity are critical. Within five minutes of her arrival, it was painfully clear she was unqualified to help. I was shocked and asked her to leave. Despite this, she still billed my insurance for the session, a session that never truly happened. If you're a new mom looking for real help, please think twice before inviting this person into your home. My baby and I went through an incredibly stressful experience that could have easily been avoided with a basic level of professionalism and care. read more

Inna helped me so much in my early days of breastfeeding not only physically but emotionally and mentally. She did in-home visits which was so convenient considering I just had a c-section and was healing. She assisted me with nursing my baby as well as adjusting my pump and teaching me how to use it. I came at 37 weeks and my therapist was Sarah; she was very kind and-- I'm no expert-- but I thought she had great technique. Firm with good strength and did a great job working the tension out, especially on my neck and back. Loved the table cutout so I could lay on my front, and appreciated the pillow fortress she built for me when it was time to lay on my back! :) The treatment room was so relaxing and cozy, too. 16 months later and I keep coming back! Inna definitely gets your body especially when you come in. She's great at discovering your tension spots and explaining why they occur. I love learning about how the connective tissues in our body can affect one another. I would like to say that the process of bouncing back to better than pre-labor shape is partly do to breastfeeding and also in part due to the post natal manual lymphatic drainage. Now we're in the phase of getting my body ready for the next one! Inna seems like she has techniques that can help promote fertility. However, don't quote me on this point, as I'm obviously not a doctor and have yet to test this. read more

This was one of the best massages I ever had. I have had trouble sleeping during pregnancy and have been developing glute and lower back pain. Facilities: The place was very clean and professional. They played soft music in the room, everyone was masked, and there were no other patients when I got there. It felt really soothing and safe. The table had a cut out for my belly and breasts, which was comfortable to use. Staff: The staff were so nice! Inna is the personification of joy. My therapist Christina was so gentle and kind. She could tell when I was uncomfortable and did everything she did to make me comfortable. Service: The massage was so expertly done. It was the perfect combination of pressure and gentleness. Christina worked out some really hard and sensitive knots without much pressure. It was really expertly done actually. I ordered 50 minutes but extended to 70 which was well worth it. When I got home I actually fell asleep for 12 hours! Really needed that massage apparently. Will be coming back again. read more

Inna was incredible! I've had several prenatal massages before, but never with a special table designed specifically for pregnant women. The cut out on the table allowed me to lie on my stomach comfortably for an hour. Inna asked me about my first pregnant and delivery, and took her time to understand my body and the tensions I was feeling. It didn't feel like the typical massage, where they're just trying to get knots out with a lot of pressure. She really understands your body and the individual needs, and takes the time to explain what she is doing. I came at around 33 weeks, and plan to return every other week until I delivery my baby! Also already thinking of postpartum massages to help with speedy recovery. Cannot recommend her more to all the mamas to be. read more

I had a great prenatal massage here when I was 36 and a half weeks pregnant! I've also been to two other places for prenatal massages and this was by far the best. First, the pressure was effective and my masseuse really listened to what areas I needed more focus on (I believe I had Julie). Second, the table had a cutout so I could actually lay on my stomach instead of my side which was a nice change and I think made for a better massage. It was also very easy to make my appointment and Inna was flexible about a last minute time change due to a doctor's visit. Minimal interaction but so much has already gone wrong. This is based on my experience just trying to make an appt. in my experience it shouldn't influence quality of service based on how you're going to pay - whether it be cash/visa/voucher. if it is going to matter, it should be clearly stated. I was texting with inna l and wanted the next soonest weekday evening appt. then she had a "special" weekend offer which i would be happy to pay the difference for, however that meant $59 for 15 min. Scratch that option, I wanted the original weekday evening option offered which was no longer an option cause she is suddenly limiting it to "full price" customers only. Maybe it's my mistake for disclosing I was using a voucher. ‍ State it somewhere in the terms and conditions so customers know how to manage expectations if you're going to act as a shady business and treat services differently based on living social deals/your own yelp features deal or not. Inna is amazing. I bought a groupon, and this was my first prenatal massage. I expected to walk into a waiting room full of fellow expectant mothers, but I was greeted by Inna herself. She is a one women show which I find awesome. I was able to use the restroom first being that I am 28 weeks. Next came the questioner/info sheet, then some quick questions and the party began. She ask if I wanted to lay on my said or on my "belly". I haven't been able to lay on my stomach in a while so I was all for it. The table had a nice size cut out where baby and chest go, not uncomfortable at all. The massage was so relaxing, I had places that needed work and didn't even know it. I went back for PP massage (3 months) every other week and I can't thank the therapist enough, she is gentle and very knowledgeable. I feel great. Much like the other reviewers, I too was quite surprised by how good this massage session turned out to be. At 37 weeks pregnant, I really did not expect to be this comfortable laying on my belly and getting an hour long massage but I wanted to give it a try because of how sore I felt. Booking was a breeze and Inna confirmed the appointment with me via text a day before. At the beginning of the massage, Inna was eager to know where I felt more pain and discomfort specifically and was generous with information about the cause of the pain etc. I was instantly at ease thanks to her sweet and endearing persona and the fact that she really didn't care to rush. I opted to try to lay on my belly on the specially designed table and it was very comfortable. What an ingenious design! Inna kept asking me through the massage if I was comfortable. Her pressure was perfect and the atmosphere was calming. I left feeling absolutely rejuvenated and fresh. I had my first prenatal massage here at 32 weeks and wow, it was amazing! Inna is very professional and kind. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She has a table specialized for you to lay on your stomach. I tried the stomach position in the beginning but ended up being uncomfortable (not because of the massage, or the table) I just so happen to be uncomfortable in that position. Once she moved me to the side, it was AMAZING! I fell asleep towards the end because of how relaxing it was. She was able to find all of my tense spots. I asked her if she does regular massages because I was interested in going to her when I am not pregnant, but she informed me that she does postpartum as well. She's quick to respond but does seem to book up quickly depending on the time and day you want. I had to wait almost a month but I was a requesting a weekend appointment so completely understandable. If it's your first time, you need to fill out a quick one sheet form and Inna will ask if you have any issues or spots you want to focus on. The room is clean and cozy. I love that the bench has a hole so you can be on your stomach comfortably. You have the option of being on your side as well--she seemed very accommodating depending on your needs. I'm surprised at how good this was. I came in with low expectations because I have such hit or miss experiences with massages but this was the best massage I've received in a very long time and most definitely the best prenatal massage I've received. I wasn't even sure what the difference between a focused prenatal massage center would be versus just lying on your side or getting a chair massage but now I know and can't wait to go back. First, the table is completely different - it has a cut out which allows you to lie comfortably facing down without any belly pressure. Second, Inna just knows what she's doing. She knows what the aches and pains of pregnancy are. I originally found out about Prenatal and Medical Massage East Side and Inna through a groupon deal. I rarely ever purchase Groupon deals but after careful research and reviews, I decided to give it a aho. Not only was my massage incredible but Inna is super professional, warm and kind but she knows exactly how to alleviate all the aches and pains of a pregnant woman. The office is alongside other medical offices but I was not expecting spa frills. Inna gives you the option of laying on your side or laying on your belly (obviously with the table with the hoke for the belly). If you're like me who has only had prenatal massages on her side, opt for the face down massage and you won't regret it! The massage and experience exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to go back! My only regret is not finding out about Inna earlier in my pregnancy. read more

This was my first prenatal massage experience (currently in the beginning of my 7th month) and, I must say, Fiona is truly amazing! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with such a warm welcome and really delved deeply into what I would like to focus on (and where my pain points are). The room is very private and has a special table for prenatal clients (with the belly portion carved out), so it's safe for you and the baby. I haven't slept in weeks, and coupled with back and leg pains, it hasn't been easy. But, I felt so comfortable and relaxed, I dozed off a few times and it felt GREAT! At the end, she pointed out where I was the most tense and gave me tips on how to combat those issues during my pregnancy. I just loved the personal touch that she gave and the genuineness of her concern and wanting me to get relief. I almost never do this but I was so disappointed with my massage I was SO looking forward to my massage and after reading all the the great reviews, I had very high expectations. I've been so uncomfortable and while the massage table with cutout was very comfortable, Inna used almost no fee pressure at all even though we discussed that I prefer that. But the thing that really bothered me above all else is that while I paid for a 60 minute massage, I only received 37 minutes of it. Never in my life have I had that happen. As soon as she was done, she just left the room so it was very awkward to bring it up. Overall VERY disappointing and felt zero relief post massage:( read more

Inna is AMAZING - a true gift to pregnant achy ladies!!! I tried so many other places to get relief for aching prenatal muscles and finally found it here. She obviously knows what she is doing and works wonders on your painful / tense / tight areas. I'd been to various other places looking for relief and most places are afraid to actually massage your muscles when you're pregnant so you pay a lot for someone to rub lotion into your skin and get no physical relief. Inna's knowledge and advanced study allows her to safely provide you with a real massage while keeping you and your baby safe (she has training in high-risk pregnancies even).
