My husband and I ate here for the first time on a Friday night. The staff was very sweet and friendly. My husband tried the Frito pie burger which was unique and delicious. I had the rueben hot dog which was phenomenal...I'd order this hot dog every time!! We also had the poutine fries, which were hot, delicious, had a generous amount of gravy and cheese and the grilled jalapeño slices really kicked these up a notch...these were very delicious! 9-2021 Okay I love burgers but I've not had one from here yet. The Steak Finger basket has won me over. It comes with fries, toast and gravy. Mmmmmmm. It's in the NY area which is now all non smoking. For being in the casino the price was reasonable too, under $10. I was thinking of this basket so much, I had to order it again the next time and it did not disappoint. It was Just as delicious as the first time. About 5-6 minute wait after placing the order. Quick in and out so you can get back to the slots. Both times the place has been clean, and in order. Workers were always right there delivering food, clearing off the trash and cleaning the tables. *tip. Maybe next time I'll try the burger. read more

From what I understand at Winstar the NY Burger n Dogs is only opened on Wednesdays. Hot dog was thick and juicy. Cheese, onions and jalapeños were the add on. Bun was underpar and didn't hold up. Fries were shoe string. Not a problem here as they were crispy and served hot. Definately a great stop for lunch if in the New York section. read more

Casino food is supposed to be great, right? NYC Burgers was a very basic, convenient stop. My customer service was actually superb! The woman at the register was very attentive and even made suggestions. Two times during my actual meal we had employees that were busting tables but still attending to the customers needs at filled tables. This was not a wait-styled restaurant but I think this helps. The menu seemed reminiscent of an old school diner that was probably known for their burgers. They had frito pie on the menu, burgers, hot dogs and a lot more American diner food. I ordered the chili cheese fries. Nothing to brag home about. The fries weren't seasoned. The chili tasted canned and being the cheese connoisseur I am, there was definitely no where near enough. It looked like baby hands sprinkled cheese on my fries. Served with ranch. The burger was better than most fast food chain burgers. I liked the patty and the bun was toasted. I've stopped at felonystar many times just to eat here. NYC Burgers & Dogs has the very best hotdogs, there's some fancy fixings to pick from and I do appreciate it. Genuinely fantastic hotdogs. I've also had the chili cheeseburger countless times and sometimes with an over medium egg in it, that's quite addictive. That's great for any meal. Their chili is very good quality as well, your not going to have grease galore. Years ago the service was horrible. The employees besides the daytime manager were kind but literally about 8.5 out of 10 visits my order was wrong and the young dark haired daytime manager was visibly angry at you as well as her reprobate tone if you said anything about correcting the order. It wasn't just towards me either, I witnessed this happen to various other customers also. But, this isn't janky like that anymore!!! Seriously, thank you so much!! Wow, how the mighty have fallen. What happened NYC Burger? About 5 or 6 years ago this was the place to come and eat a delicious burger and some cheese fries at 1 a.m. since it is one of the only places that stay open late in the casino. Walked in and the place was pretty empty which should have been a red flag for us but of course we ordered anyways. I was in the mood for a grilled cheese sandwich but they took it off the menu for some reason and they lady at the register didn't know how to ring it up because they is no button for it. Okay fine, I'll take a patty melt, which is a whopping $7.99 now and it doesn't include fries. My husband got a mushroom and Swiss chicken sandwich and made it a combo. Got our number and found a table to sit at. I guess having fresh cut lemon slices for water was just waaaay to expensive because they now have those nasty lemon "juice" packets instead. We waited 15 to 20 minutes for our food even though the place was empty and it was almost closing time. My burger was extremely dry and flavorless and the water was BAD!!! Hubby's chicken sandwich was just okay and the portion of fries he received was laughable. I felt totally ripped off and should have gotten my money back! Again, this place was hopping some years back and we ate here every time we visited this casino. It has gone way down hill since then and they should just close down really. If you want bad service and over priced bland food, this is the place for you. I added an extra star because my husbands sandwich was fairly decent but that's it. Happened to have come across this restaurant one day on my visit to the WinStar casino. I tried the Reuben hot dog with beer cheese. I'd have to say. It's the best hotdog I have ever eaten. Very juicy and delicious. Served on Texas toast I believe and u could choose either a six inch or footlong. Now. The food is good. I am not a fan of negative reviews, and usually just pass and don't leave one at all, but as much as my fellow Yelpers have helped me, I feel the need this time. Service is very slow. I suppose it is because they know people have limited choices to where they can eat. We waited an hour to get our order. We were late for the concert we were going to watch. My burger was doused with mustard; I can only taste mustard. If you have no choice and have to eat here, ask them to put the sauce on the side or just put mayo/mustard/ketchup yourself. They have bottles on the table. The fries was old and reheated so many times but it got out table warm and shriveled up. The onion rings were dark and greasy from the oil that has been used a lot of times. Drinks are the usual but you can get free soda or coffee at the drinking stations. We drove out to see the Casino and resort. I checked out the restaurants on line before we made the drive. We a bit disappointed to see how small most of them were. We settled on NYC Burgers and Dogs. I had the Cobb Salad and it was pretty good. My wife had a Nathan's hot dog and was also happy. The servers were friendly and efficient and the place was clean. The food was as I said edible, the Monterey chicken was the best of what we ordered and even than it was decent. The food lacked flavor, was cold and overall just not appetizing the purine fries were the same cheese was thrown on top not melted or anything the fries were hot and the gravy was cold so it was not a good mix. After 12 hours of gambling and drinking screwdrivers we decided it was time to eat and call it a day. The line was long but I cant tell you how worth the wait was. This review isn't for the food, but for the service of two very special young people. An older couple ahead of me ordered some food, which is totally great by the way, and the older man had a cap on showing he had served in our military. The young lady who was taking his order thanked him for his service, which you just don't see from younger people very often. The couple paid and sat down to wait on their order. I placed my order and sat down to wait on it to be cooked to my order. When the older couple's order came out, the young man running orders also took time to stop and thank this veteran for his service as well. I kind of teared up because that older gentleman's face lit up with pure joy from the gratitude of these two younger people. I was so thankful to have witnessed these two exchanges. As an Army brat with two Marine grandfathers, one step-grandfather and father as regular Army, and with several uncles who all served in various military branches, this simple, yet grateful, show of appreciation made this Army brat so very proud of these two young people who seem to understand what this veteran has done for them and for the freedoms they have. I just don't have the words. You have some amazing people working for you, and that makes all the difference to me. Congratulations for having people like this on your team!! Semper Fi always. Went to eat there with family on december 26th approx. 1:30 am. First thing i noticed are the people makjng food not wearing hairnets or using gloves. Then as we were waiting for our food. I saw the girl serving the food scratchjng her face and rubbing it. Then she grabs the food without washing her hands and brings the food to the table. Located in the New York section of WinStar World Casino. It's pretty tasty! The hot dog? A Nathan's dog wrapped in a handmade bun (I think) that is toasted. It kind of looks like a piece of Texas toast formed to fit a sausage. I read on the WinStar FB page that one lady didn't like their buns so... To each their own, BUT I liked the bun because of it's toasty goodness. It held the dog in place and didn't get soggy or saturated by the juices from the meat or sauce. Granted, the only condiment I used was mustard. The fries are very similar to Tuckers. Hand Cut. Some crispy, some not so much. The coating on the fried pickles is almost like a tempura batter with the addition of seasoning. Another winner, to me at least. Can I get this restaurant more than 5 stars? Because they went above and beyond all of my expectations. I was working with a client, who was remotely staying at the WinStar, and he was desperately hungry. Mix clients and hunger and you know the slipper slope that can take you down. So, I called NYC Burgers and Dogs, and the manager Mike took up my task with open arms. On big concert nights like on this occasion, they usually don't take phone orders or do any deliveries. However, Mike not only eased my worries by taking our order, but he also delivered it to our client, free of charge, to his spot at the Skyline Lounge. Can you provide any better service? don't gamble here anymore but met a date a bit ago for brunch and nothing has changed here. your order is going to get messed up here usually, 90% of the time from what i remember including this visit which i saw two other customers returning incorrect orders as well as me. they just don't get it at all in any way as far as competency goes or accuracy one, food is EASY!!..wow..the food is good and generally does not take very long even if they're busy but only if you don't count the extra time it will take for them to redo the order or correct whatever is wrong with it. being inside of a casino this place closes sometimes a little later which is good but does not open again until 11 AM.....inside of a casino with customers inside 24/7. on my very late night poker room times here i would have loved something from here early in the morning. i probably will not return. read more
