Good coffee with music and a smile. DID YOU NOTICE THAT THE GUY IS THE SAME ONE FROM EMIL H.'S PHOTO FROM 2009!
Rich W.

This is a coffee stop I like to make when I exit the #2,3 station in the morning. The service is great and friendly. You can shut your MP3 player while waiting on line because they always have 70s rock & roll music playing. Yes, the line does get long (+5 people) if you are not early but people seen friendlier on this line than the Starbuck line (+10 people and many do not look like they need more caffeine!).

Good concept; poor execution. I saw this truck parked on Broadway, on the East side of the corner with 14th St./Union Sq. S, next to a kebab cart. It was clearly trying to imitate The Mud Truck with its bright orange colouring and virtually identical font, and in fact, at first I thought it WAS The Mud Truck. But no, it was a different mobile caffeine dealer, one that according to the barista often parks at 6th and 14th, and somewhere else I forgot. The prices are surprisingly low, and the service was friendly and fast, but the coffee was disappointing. It wasn't terrible - I did drink it all - but I wouldn't get it again. Their sign boasted the "LoveCappuccino' ('lil = $2.25) with 'lots of foam, little milk' and instead I got 'lots of milk, little foam' - and meagre, flimsy foam made of large bubbles which dissipated immediately upon contact with my mouth. WTF is it with this city and these capppuccinos-cum-lattes? I am going to MURDER the next person who serves me an overmilked, foam-deprived monstrosity instead of a proper cappuccino. Okay, so, too much milk, not enough foam, and the espresso wasn't very good, and rather distinctly un-espresso-like. In fact, based on what I saw occurring behind the counter, it may have even just been COFFEE, and not actually espresso. Can you imagine? I guess it explains the low prices, but I'm still aghast they would pull such a stunt. Oh - and they do not offer any sort of edibles beyond drinks. Sigh. Avoid The Love Truck, and stick to The Mud Truck for your caffeine needs.

Iced red eye is the bomb!

Yes I know I'm reviewing the Love Truck again but this place is a multiple orgasmic delight for a coffee lover like me. I had the iced red eye (coffee with a shot of espresso). Delicious and not bitter. The guy making the coffee was new and he gave me the wrong coffee and apologized profusely. He quickly made me another and apologized again. The personal service blows away chain coffee. Wish this truck parked next to my office. They are on Wall Street. If your downtown this a must go. Still loving my gigantic red eye!

I've passed this cute truck many times and have long been curious about it, and I finally got the chance to try it yesterday. Sixties music was blaring as a hip barista served a decent sized line of Wall Streeters their caffeinated concoctions of choice. Since yesterday was sweltering, I focused on the iced menu, which is extensive, and opted for an iced vanilla latte, which was very strong and not overly sweet. The prices are comparable to Starbucks, maybe a little higher than Financier. Note that there aren't many decaffeinated options.

Love this truck! Great iced espresso. Friendly barista. Personal speakers for in your face music as you wait for your drink. Quality.

3.5 Very friendly crew - quick and prompt service, although I only got an iced coffee. That being said, the coffee, while good, was nothing extraordinary - and at $4 for a large, quite steep! Would return to try an espresso based drink, however.

Fabulous coffee truck on the street waiting for me. Can't ask for more. Better skinny latte here than sbux!!

Deliciousness in a cup

I don't think coffee can get any better than Love Truck Coffee's! I bookmarked Love Truck Coffee on Yelp after reading all the wonderful reviews. Lucky for me, the owner of Love Truck was working this morning since all his employees called out sick. He was extremely jovial and generous ... and it was 6:30 in the morning! The coffee here is amazingly delicious and strong! The price is awesome! Steamed milk/creamer is the way he serves his coffee, and it's not any extra $! I will DEFINITELY be returning! Love Truck Coffee beats any coffee in NYC! I hope the owner is working tomorrow :)))

Cool little coffee truck. Which makes a decent coffee to my liking but a tad expensive. We all have to pay our rent somehow.

You pay $8 per person for three hours, which seems absolutely incredible. They have delicious bubble teas and some light bites. They have teas and coffees too. Super shout out to the woman working there today (12/29) because my little cousin is not an adventurous eater and she recommended the lychee boba and gave him a sample. He never tries things but did and really enjoyed it. I am so thankful for everyone's kindness who worked there. A cool atmosphere with lots of meetups and games going on. Huge positive that you can make a reservation. I can't wait to come back!

The store was pretty emptied at the time, and clerk informed about pricing per hour for game play (board and card games). I decided to skip the games, since all I wanted was some food to-go. Got the pastry and a latte drink. The pastry was a bit off; cheese filling was too sour and the pastry just didn't taste that fresh. The matcha latte drink wasn't good neither; very small amount of Matcha flavor, but plenty of milk. Will probably come back for game play only

People have left some odd reviews of this place, including a one-star review for the restaurant…read moreapparently being highly politicized--a vibe I neither felt nor could visually identify within or without the establishment. I ordered a single burger and a Sudan spiced peanut butter latte, for ~$15! That's pretty inexpensive for New York City. I note this as some consider it overpriced. I suppose the food is fairly inexpensive, the lattes slightly higher than average. The "burger" comes wrapped in a homemade pita with diced cucumber, onion, and tomato, plus a few crispy, thick-cut fries and a yummy house sauce. It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce. The girl working as the barista and cashier was very nice and friendly. She had a nice presence and warm smile, made suggestions, and even gave a stranger free utensils when they popped on to ask. I think it's definitely worth checking out, and it's a good place for a cheap & simple meal that's still quirky and fun.

I have wanted to try this spot for some time, and wound up a bit disappointed with what I tried…read more They feature a tahini cold brew, which features two things I love dearly, but instead of a rich cold brew it was overly sweet and icy--more like a slushie. Perhaps I should have anticipated that, or my mistake in ordering. I also ordered a Moroccan egg salad sandwich which was substantive but surprisingly bland--sparse with the advertised capers and pickled red onions to give it more punch. I've always loved the look of the spot and the vibe--funky decor, outside and indoor facing counters to order, with some outdoor seating for people watching on Dekalb or heading nearby Ft. Greene Park. I see they are renovating and rebranding a bit and adding some burger component. While I didn't love it, I'd definitely give it another shot.
