I made a yelp account just to write this review. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT GET YOUR EYELASHES DONE HERE!! They looked great the first 24 hours, but once the glue set, I immediately knew something was terribly wrong. She used an absurd amount of glue on my eyelashes, to the point where it was incredibly painful to blink. I left them on for two days and decided I was going to take them off. I CANT GET THEM OFF!! She used so much glue that they won't come off, and I've lost over 90% of my original lashes. Im three hours in to attempting to take them off, and my eyes are swollen from having to rip them off. I'm extremely upset, and because of this, I will NEVER be going back here. read more

After being a yelp elite I stopped writing reviews because it took too much time but felt completed to write this. I stopped here while in town for work and it was a mistake. The manicure was sloppy and started peeling off within hours. Several times I had to notify the tech when there were bald spots on the nails. She also over-buffed one of my nails to the point where what was left came off. I took my mother in law here for Mother's Day and for pedicures for the both of us. of the bat the lady that was doing her pedicure was rude. My mother in law doesn't speak English. The lady was finishing up her pedicure and my mother in law noticed that she didn't get something on her toes. An ingrown. The lady then gets an attitude and pulls it out aggressively making my mother in law bleed so much. my mother in law kept touching it to look at it and the lady slapped her hand away. the manager apologized of course over and over again. Gave us her pedicure for free. the lady never said anything to my mother in law. didn't apologize or anything. just went to sit in a pedicure chair and got on her phone. Poor job. The nail polish color is great but it was done poorly. The nails are bulky and not filed down so they don't look natural. I was offered a drink that I was assumed was complimentary but it was actually a $1. The owner "accidentally" charged my credit card an $5, which was just her way of forcing a tip. This is not my first time coming but after two terrible experiences i figured i should write a review. The lady who runs it is rude, I called and asked if I could do eyelash extensions and remove my old ones and the lady said yes. When i got there and started the removal, first she tried to just pull my strip off (which would have ripped my REAL lashes from the root), then she called me a baby when I said the eyelash cream got into my eye and was burning, and finally, After she removed my lashes, she said she didn't have time to put on new ones. Like.....what?? The entire reason I was there was for a new set. So, I left with no eyelashes. read more

Ok so the nail salon is clean and nice and my first visit was amazing because the owner was really nice and I opted for the dip powder. Two days later one of my nails broke so I went back to get it fixed and once they were done the owner's wife was so rude to me! She demanded that I pay $5 and asked when I got my nails done, I told her two days ago and she got irritated and said that she doesn't like to do services for free and asked if I could pay $2. I explained to her that I don't carry cash on me and she seemed really upset and said next time I would have to pay an additional $5 for todays visit. Then she started talking to her husband in their language and she seemed angry. I honestly thought I had found a good nail salon but because of the wife being so rude I won't be going back. I've been to other salons that won't charge if a nail breaks within three days. That lady needs an attitude adjustment ASAP! Update: I decided to try and give this place another chance since the husband was very nice. I was sitting in my car waiting for the nail shop to open when the wife comes out to the parking lot and walks to my car! She asks me what I needed and I told her I would wait until they opened in 30 minutes. She asked what I needed to have done so I told her I needed my nails done. She goes back inside and talks to her husband. I didn't think anything of it and went back to reading my book and she comes back out to my car. She then says that if my nail breaks next time I'll have to pay the $5. I looked at her and asked her why was she telling me this again when she had already told me this previously. She then said she had to let me know, which then she was just being rude. I told her that if the $5 bothered her so much I would give her the money. She said no that's ok and I asked her what the problem was then. I then explained to her that she was being very rude and that if she is going to harass me I would go elsewhere. She then tried to say her English is bad that's why I don't understand her. Her English isn't that bad and I understood her very well. I told her I would go somewhere else where they are friendlier to their customers and don't make a big deal over the smallest things. I offered to pay the $5 and she told me no and still went on and on about how because of them not charging me the $5 they had no business all day long. That is a lie because when I was there that day to get my nail fixed there were like five customers that walked in. She's such a liar and a very rude woman! Too bad because her husband was very nice and he's the reason I went back. I definitely won't be going back now because of that woman and her ugliness! All this over $5! Ridiculous! She immediately embarrassed me by correcting me after I explained what I was looking for infront of the whole shop and even cut me off to ask if I wanted a pedicure after staring at my feet. I am so happy I came here to get my nails done. I found the nail salon in Huntsville that Im most pleased with! I called in and when I got there the owner and his wife made great conversation and made me feel like a friend instead of a customer who got there 20 mins before closing (which I did and felt bad about). I love the color and I love how Diana made sure that I liked every step and involved me through out the steps. I am very particular about how my nails get done. I looked up a ton of nail places all in the Huntsville area and this salon was one of the highest rated and had the best reviews. I did see a lot of photos that were uploaded by other yelpers and some photos I really like the nail work and other photos made me really scared to even come here to get my nails done. I did read about how the owners Mike and Diana make it homey and to customer satisfaction, so I figured I would give them a shot, plus I came on a Sunday and they were the best rated out of the other few salons that were open on Sunday. I was a walk in and waited about 10-15 minutes or so to be worked on, but I was greeted as I walked in the door and asked what I wanted while I waited. Mike and Diana did keep asking me if I needed anything to drink while I was waiting and kept me updated on how much longer it would be before I was sat. As soon as Mike started working on me he struck up conversation. This man is funny and is definitely a people person. He is blunt, straight to the point, and doesn't have much of a filter, so if you don't like people with that personality, he is not the tech for you. His personality fits perfect with mine so I didn't mind it. During the manicure, he would ask me if everything was to my liking as well as did a very clean job. A lot of techs that I have been to in the past at other salons have done sloppy work which resulted in more soreness and not being able to shape the nails the way they should be. Mike did an amazing job at keeping the job nice and neat. It was so neat that before he drilled them, it looked like he had already done it. I deff recommend Mike as a tech if you want a good job done. Diana does a good job too from what I have read and seen in pictures, but I have not received service from her yet. I DO NOT recommend the tech Tan. He sat next to Mike with a customer he was working on and he was doing a terrible job! I watched him work on this girl and not only was his work horrible, so was his attitude. You could see him getting frustrated because that customer was telling him what wasn't right. Diana actually ended up taking over and fixing the girls manicure. Over all good salon and highly recommended!! read more
