Unfortunately I didn't have time to sit down as we were rushing to get to the airport. By the time I had a chance to eat it, it was already cold and a little wet. Prices are not cheap here, but I feel that the owners use quality ingredients as I feel great after eating the food. My husband and I ordered from here using a Grubhub promotion through which we explored new places to take-out. I wanted to like this cafe but need to share my honest feedback: PROS - Pureed Vegetable Soup - Today's was something broccoli-based, tasted good although a bit watery in texture. Water Cress Salad - I was surprised by how fresh and colorful this type of watercress was that they used plus the spiraled daikon radish and carrot shreds on top. Nice presentation for a take-out. CONS - Bean Soup - This is name is very misleading because I was expecting actual beans like cannelini, navy, or some other common type used for soup. This turned out to be a VERY watery split pea soup. Yes, I know that it's called "Bean of the Day Soup" but technically, split peas are legumes and not beans. I recently learned about how pea protein can be high in lectins and have had some health issues with consuming too much of it in the form of processed foods and some people are even allergic to it. Water Cress Salad (added stuff) - Despite how much I loved the salad contents itself, I was SHOCKED by how it had practically NO walnuts at all and the salad dressing which came in 2 containers was a SUPER WATERY hummus-like liquid and was NOT at all chipotle nor cranberry (we were supposed to get one of each of these). Sometimes this is great. Othertimes the food taste like the other food that has been made on the same stove/grill. Especially the simple egg can sometimes taste funky from whatever they haven't cleaned properly between meals. I used to love it, but quality has been going down over the last few years. I hope you guys will up your efforts more, because I really like what you do. I just don't like to eat over ripe avocado (btw: mispelled on your DoorDash account). Juicery Kitchen is the embodiment of what people hate about this hipster area. It operates under the pretense of providing healthy food. Sure it may be so, but is it really healthy to go broke paying for this, and then not being able to eat anything. If the food was the greatest, maybe they could make an argument. This is good but it's no longer unique. I had the macro bowl. It's about $13 for a small bowl. This came with some kale, rice, and vegetables. By vegetables I mean a carrot. One fucking piece of a carrot is supposed to make me healthy and strong. How about a whole meal? It would be nice to get a meal and not a snack. It also has smoothies but again those are too much, just for fruit. Well it seems the only reasonably priced thing is maybe a cookie, but seriously you need to reconsider your business model, as in do you want to get any business because prices like these are not helping. Healthy CAN TASTE GOOD says no one ever lol, but Juicery Kitchen will prove them wrong and make the words tumble out your mouth before you can say, "What you said?!" It feels homelike, comforting, cozy and clean. We probably overstayed our welcome but they were super nice about it. The first sight as you walk in is the fridge of fresh juices, acaí bowls, and raw desserts. Everything looked great and I was looking forward to enjoying brunch on one of the bar stools by their floor to ceiling windows. It's a small place but they fit a good amount of seats as well as some tables outside in front of their garden. While my sister and I took a while to decide what we wanted, it was difficult to order once we knew. There was only one worker there as the cook, server, and cashier. When we did finally get a hold of him, he told us that he did not have anymore of both the items we ordered. This was frustrating but then being a fairly new place, I will give them some time to improve their stocking skills. So we changed our order to something they still had ingredients for and ended up having to wait a fairly long time for it to be made. We also ordered the exotic smoothie, which was ready before our food. However, we don't know exactly when it was done because we were never told; it was just left on the counter for us. The smoothie was delicious, though, and had the perfect texture. When we got our food, the worker also came to give us four different baskets of plastic forks, knives, napkins, and maple syrup. Shouldn't they have all these items in a common area instead of bombarding us with it all at once? Even better, I wish they would use real silverware to not waste the plastic. Or at least they should have recycling available. The food was good but nothing spectacular. I had the tofu scramble with broccoli, carrot sauce, and brown rice. The broccoli kept its nice crunch but the sauce was not that flavorful. My sister got super thick pancakes, which were consequently raw in some areas. We have had pancakes in other places that were deliciously raw-ish but not like this where it is simply pancake batter. She was especially thankful that they were vegan because of this. Yes, there were many downsides to our meal at Juicery Kitchen. But our food was decent and the juice was awesome. The portion sizes and prices are great. Plus, because we were upset about not getting our first choice for our meals, the worker ended up giving us the smoothie for free. Thus, I have a difficult time rating this place. Being new, though, I think they have room to improve. They need to hire more people and get their kitchen in order. read more

Big menu with lots of clean, healthy, delicious options. My favorite is the green curry vegetables, the garlic and greens, and the salmon (they have a few salmon dishes). I've ordered through seamless and also been to their location in greenpoint and it's really simple and cozy inside with a big communal table and a couple of tables outside. This place gets 5 stars from me because of the Kale Avocado Salad, and because everyone who works there is so kind. I love the Tibetan altar they have there to honor their culture, and it's such a nice change to see people working in a restaurant who are happy and relaxed. That matters. I do agree with some of the other reviews and would like to share a few possible points for improvement: The baked goods always have that gritty / dry texture. While the food tastes healthy and fresh, it IS quite expensive. $6 to add tempeh to a salad is surprising, for example. Thanks to Juicery Kitchen! But as other reviews have stated, they are really skimpy with their portions especially for their price. I paid an extra $3 for tofu, but there only a few tiny pieces scattered around. Furthermore, healthy doesn't mean that the food has to taste gross. The green curry really wasn't appetizing at all and I kind of wish I didn't have it. Update: I'm not sure if they've changed hands, but I placed my usual order (Macro Bowl) the other evening and it was not nearly as good as usual. The greens were just steamed, instead of sautéed with garlic, and the beans were incredibly dry. No flavor at all, except for the dressing. The açaí bowl was nice-- fruit was very fresh. The vegetables with the dish were uncooked raw it was a teriyaki dish -- they should be cooked even if slightly. Would never go back.
