NYC Village Pizza is located on W 4th St. in Southside Bethlehem. They are open Tue - Thu 11AM - 9PM, Fri - Sat 11AM - 10PM, and Sun 11AM - 8PM. The menu is huge. They have pizza, wings, calzones, Stromboli, burgers, cheesesteaks, hoagies, wraps, soup, salad, and even Mediterranean cuisine like gyros and falafel. This was my first time here, so I kept it simple. I ordered a large cheese pizza, hot wings, and garlic knots. The pizza was perfectly cut and tasted good. There was a nice crisp to the crust, but the rest of the pizza was floppy and greasy. The wings were great for a pizzeria. They were good quality, cooked perfectly, and had your typical hot sauce. The garlic knots tasted great, but were undercooked. There was no crisp at all. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. The food was good, prices were reasonable, and the staff was super nice. Loved this place! They had a lot of good options for food and they all tasted great and seemed to be made with fresh ingredients. I always called to place an order, my food was always ready on time, and the staff was nice. I usually did takeout but it seemed like a nice casual place to eat with TVs on. Decent place to get a slice or two and a drink. They do have a pretty good special for lunch that is 2 slices and a drink for $5. Pizza is a very thin crust (like a NY pie would be). More crisp than chewy......so if that is your thing you'll be happy. I like it thin AND chewy, so although I like the place, it isn't my favorite in the area...but pizza can be a very picky thing per person. So you probably should go try for yourself. Mozz also seems not stringy...actually seems more milky (if that makes any sense...if not, go try and you'll understand) It's fine. They have sausage rolls, meat pies/empanada type things too. Kind of more of a Mediterranean slant on the pizza place as opposed to traditional Italian (I want to say Turkish?). Staff is pretty friendly, but it's a pizza place where you place your order, sit down, eat and leave. Place is pretty clean (bathrooms really clean), and can also get pretty busy. Look. You'll probably have better pizza in your life (I hope you do), but for a few decent slices and a coke from a place that is clean and you can trust, it's a functional stop (or better). read more

I had ordered a meat supreme Stromboli, I paid a total of $27.00 ( taxes, delivery, grub hub) What I got was a Stromboli with NO onions, peppers,mushrooms.....like where's my food , I knew something wasn't right it felt extremely light and to my disappointment my worst fear was realized... well lost my money the delivery was great and the only thing they got right was the soda... service like this they should go back to NY and start over..not worth 27 bucks with the rest of the missing ingredients maybe.. read more

In giving them five stars because the chicken cheese steak is my favorite. However-- I hate ordering things and then not getting what I order. I don't know what's changed the last two times but my order literally never changes which is why it's even more annoying that lately, it's wrong. I get a chicken cheese steak. Peppers, mushrooms and onions with provolone. No sauce. 1 roasted jalapeño on the side and a side of ranch. 1 Diet Coke. Last week I ordered this and they gave me pickled jalapeños on the side (gross) and no Diet Coke or ranch... but I surely was charged for it. The driver drove back my Coke and forgot the ranch and the jalapeño. I said forget it. I work at the nursing home my life's stressful enough and I'm starving. Today I ordered the same thing and the woman even REMEMBERED ME! Told me "roasted jalapeño not pickled, right?" Told me she would "make sure". ...... I get the sandwich and I have NO side of 1 roasted jalapeño and there's a shit ton of YOU GUESSED IT-- pickled jalapeños. I get it. You're busy. But like you guys can't slow down for 30 seconds to make sure everything is made How it's ordered and ensure that everything gets to the person you're charging money? It's super annoying and really such a huge let down when a nurse looks so forward to her perfect chicken cheesesteak just how she likes it and goes to open it and eat it cold... and it's fucking wrong and things are forgotten. Looks like a typical pizza joint from the outside. Then you walk in and see the food behind the glass is anything but typical. Real New York style slices... thin crust & slices big enough to sail a boat with. Toppings are outside of the norm, and loaded heavily on to the massive slices in an artful manner. The sausage & pepper rolls, pepperoni rolls, and other such items are equally large and loaded. Then there's the whole Mediterranean side... lots of Greek menu items that all taste fresh and look vibrant. Most people I see dining in seem quite culturally varied, which is what South Side is traditionally all about. Can't recommend enough! read more

Unfortunately after going to this place for several times, I experienced horrible customer service. Their pizza is okay, I liked that they had beef pepperoni pizza which is hard to find. Sometimes their pizza can be super salty so the quality is not consistent. I was very disappointed when I ordered a pepperoni pizza and got it at my home to see the pepperoni was left off. I don't live near the restaurant so I called to inform them of the error. I was surprised to have the manager argue with me and tell me the pepperoni was definitely there. He said it was hidden beneath the cheese. I dug the cheese up thinking he may be right since he was so insistent. There was no pepperoni yet he kept arguing with me. He knew the person who picked the pizza up for me so when he heard that person stand up for the fact that there was no pepperoni he said he would make it up to us next time with a pepperoni pizza. Then next time we went for the pepperoni pizza he said we had to pay for the pizza and he would just give us the pepperoni for free. It's really sad to be treated this way as a loyal customer. I paid full price for the pepperoni pizza after traveling just for that, I could have had several cheese pizzas closer to my home that would taste better. Then to argue and insist that they didn't make a mistake when there clearly was. Last they never provided a pepperoni pizza to make up for their error and my inconvenience. Went here on the recommendations of my two buddies who work in the maintenance department at near by Lehigh University. I value both of their food and eating opinions. They were raving for days about NYV Village Pizza. They were RIGHT! I ordered a supreme pizza with all the trimmings: pepperoni, sausage, green pepper, onion, and olives. They defiantly hook it up with the toppings. My pizza was absolutely loaded. I got it take out. They made sure the pizza was to my liking, showing me the finished product before it was boxed. They had so much pride in showing off this beast of a pie, and I really enjoy that. The price was pretty fair I thought. Less than $20.00 for all those topping on a large pizza. I'm a fan and I will recommend this place to friends and followers. I am willing to make the trek to south Bethlehem for this tasty slice of NYC. read more

My friend Ali from Lehigh Honda recommended this place & he is right! The pizza (i ordered the vegetarian) is really good, the thin dough is hot and crunchy & not overwhelming! The kebob ( chicken and lamb ) is to die for, very tasty and doesn't have a bad after taste. I am not a fanatic of mediterranean food but after tasting their food, it changed my mind! This restaurant is absolutely a diamond in the rough. We ordered a mozzarella salad with grilled chicken and a veggie pizza. Both were out-of-this-world! So good, so good that we went back and got the same thing the next day. The grilled chicken is brilliantly marinated and so tender, no dryness anywhere. The pizza crust was amazing. The vegetable blend is very diverse, but they all complement each other. Sometimes the veggies on pizza can make the pizza soggy, but not this pizza! The crust is on the thinner side, has a great bite. So delicious! I can't recommend this place enough - try it, you won't regret it. The staff is so friendly and nice. Good God... This place was great. If you've read my other reviews, you know I'm not easy to please or impress. The pizza had one if the best crusts I've ever seen from a Lehigh valley pizza shop. The garlic knots were small, but covered... Literally covered in fresh chopped garlic (not the crap from a jar) and herbs. Amazingly flavorful. And the chicken kabob platter... WOW! The most beautiful pieces of white meat chicken covered in a fantastic blend of spices on a bed of perfectly cooked rice with a great salad and grilled tomato and pepper. Fantastic fresh-as-can-be large soft pita and tziki sauce. Everything served HOT, clearly freshly made to order. Great service... Comfortable casual atmosphere... Immaculately clean bathrooms. Can't wait to return. This place is obviously run by guys who both know how to cook AND care about their business and customers. Plus a friendly "goodbye" on the way out. Authentic Turkish Food right in my back yard?!? Absolutely tremendous! I usually don't write reviews but this place is consistent (every time) and certainly worth a five star review. I have previously lived in Turkey for over 3 years and NYC Village Pizza's Lamb Shish brings back fond memories and good times. Their pizza menu in conjunction with the Lamb Shish options is certainly an "American" bonus because I don't remember having such good pizza (in Turkey when I was there). Ordered a supreme pizza and was given a cheese, I had to drive all the way back there for a replacement. They made me pay the difference and they kept the cheese that I had already taken home ( not that I wanted it but thats disturbing.) Middle of the road. We ordered a large pie, falafel wrap, and a shepherds salad. The food was not bad but also not overwhelmingly good. The pie was typical Bethlehem pizza with a decent flavor sauce but crust that is less crispy than I'd prefer. The falafel wrap wasn't great. The salad was flavorful and fresh - definitely the best part of the order. Would order again for the good salad, skip the falafel, and request the pie be made well done. read more
