They know when they have you in a position where you have no choice but to pay their exorbitant fees. Charlie seems nice but notice he will never get on the phone especially when it comes to talking about money. They overcharged us to rescue a boat. Then gave us a verbal estimate of $750 to destroy our boat which then turned into a written estimate of $1700. When we said forget it they then told us they would start charging us storage charges of $36 a day!! Run far and run fast.

Despite my best efforts in the past to do Fall train rides, which turned out to be disappointing only because there was never any good colors on trees, this by far is the very best fall foliage experience I've ever had in my life. You get great views of the tree color transitions and just great photo opportunities. It does get cold on the water so bring a jacket. Experience is as excellent as last time with beverages and snacks for purchase. If you enjoy fall colors, great scenery and boats then you have to do this at least once.

Mr. Joseph Massaro had purchased Petra Island for $700,000 in 1996. Frank Lloyd Wright designed a house that Joseph Massaro built. There's a guest house (The Chahroudi Cottage) and the Main house (The Massaro House). The Massaro House is built around a 12-foot-high, 60-foot-long boulder that forms the exterior of the entry and an interior wall. A smaller rock is also used as a wall in the kitchen and bathroom. During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting Barbara Massaro the wife of the owner. The Frank Lloyd Wright design (The Massaro House) is a special day outing. It's $150 pp. but definitely worth it. Hope you enjoy the photos from my visit. A restroom is available on the Island, after the boat tour. On the dock, there's a designated parking area for Petra Island Tours.

This is the Boating office to get your permit for the Putnam County NYC Reservoirs. It's not clear…read morehow many counties are serviced but I included the phone number. Mike is the man that has helped us with everything he's very polite customer friendly. In order to register your Jon boat, you have to call & set-up an appointment. You have to know which Reservoir lake your putting your boat as well as the number area where your boat will be permanently stored. There's a waiting list for a few. Some are closed especially Lake Gleneida that one hasn't been open in over 10 or more years! I posted the most recent list of lakes available. When you do go You must bring your License, Access Permit, & your boat the day of your appointment. It doesn't cost anything. Before you leave they will pressure wash the boat just to be certain you don't bring hitchhikers into the reservoir & Spray paint and tag your boat. After that you are well on your way to go fishing!! Yippee!! Have fun !!

This place has tours groups you can go on an expedition with, or if you want just rent the kayaks and make your own adventure. I went renting the kayaks. I would say wear something comfortable, but good for the conditions as you will be out on the river for an hour or two. And don't forget your sunscreen! And if you want, bring a refreshment for the ride. Rentals are very inexpensive and totally worth it. If you like Kayaking, paddle yourself this way.

He made certain that we were fed always providing a box of Popeye chicken with biscuits giving us a bottle of water and soda and walking around the boat asking is everyone okay. Fishing buddies of America has seen a lot of members come and a lot of members go. I was very happy to be a part of a fishing trip that took place in North Carolina on a 24-hour fishing vessel where we caught lots of Vermilion snappers the size limit and the limit for two days as well as Grunt and triggerfish. It was my first experience and a great one. It's sad to say though in 2018 Mr Ernest Fernandez passed away. He does have friends of fishing buddies of America who are running their own charters as a matter of fact there is a trip on June 9th the boat is almost full will be a dedication to miss the earnest Fernandez will we will dedicate to the sea memories of mr. Fernandez. I think that is a great way to pay homage to him. We will also fish on this day in memory of mr. Fernandez for one of his favorite fish porgies. I can see the smile on this man face now catching two parties at one time. Nonetheless great man and a great time I had with him fishing with fishing buddies of America tightlines forever mr.
