Ny style pizza right here in winter garden. My go to pizza place for a good sausage or meatlovers slice. Perfectly salty and they never skimp on the toppings. The slices are huge! Almost like 2 slices in one from other shops. They also have fried oreos which is the only reason id ever go to the fair so needless to say the dessert junkies in me is very happy. The menu has a lot to offer, pastas, chicken, you name it, and im never disappointed with them. Staff is courteous and very nice. The vibe is very new york and has ny street signs inside and different staple NY energy and so much seating. I have had some pretty mediocre pizza since being in Orlando and this is not one of them. as a new yorker I definitely would recommend this place. read more

Didn't feel like making dinner one night and this pizza location was nearby and close enough to go pick up pizza from. We got the large deluxe pizza that includes pepperoni, sausage, and vegetables. Overall flavor was really good. The crust is definitely a little thinner, but I wish it would have been a little bit more cooked so that it actually held up to the ingredients on it. I found that all of the pieces at the very end of the pizza kept falling off because the crust just became soggy. read more

Came here late one evening to meet up with a friend. We got the Coney Island fries, without the jalapeño and..... not good. The cheese used was just sitting on top and honestly looked like sliced mozzarella just tossed on top of the stack of fries. There's killer bee pizza we ordered though was fantastic. We got the 14" and had 3 slices left over between the 2 of us. Packing it to was no issue. Our server was very nice, and the restaurant itself was very cozy and clean. This place was absolutely amazing from the minute. I walked in the waitress, was accommodating, super sweep and gave me great recommendations. She was also telling me about the massive Stromboli challenge, which I would love to watch somebody try. Pizza was outstanding as a matter of fact, they thought that two slices were a little smaller than normal so they gave me a free third slice Which clearly the size of these things I didn't need but didn't want to upset them so of course I ate all three. This place has changed things up a bit! The window work was redone~sends you fun vibes even before you walk in! Front dining room holds booths and tables, back dining room, same. They could accommodate larger parties here. I love that they let me sub an ingredient on the Queens pie when I didn't want green peppers. Thin crust, requested well done. Perfect! Just so happens I was here on a night when their wine distributor offered samples of their wine menu! Definitely switching from my usual IPA to a glass of Cab! We tried the NYPD Pizzeria today, complete with NY themed painted windows and wall coverings. Furniture was nice, AC definitely works. Staff was friendly, attentive and fast. Always looking for a non-chain restaurant and this one fit the bill. Being close to the turnpike on our travel to Miami didn't hurt either. Service was fast and Sonja was awesome being able to handle the whole restaurant by herself. You walk in and feel like you are in NYC with all of the decor. Trust me, have the arancini and cheesy garlic bread. Loved each bite. If you order slices come hungry. Each slice is about a quarter of a large pizza. You could also split a 2 slice lunch special with someone else. And you can't go wrong with the zeppoles. We threw caution to the wind and let Sonja choose the flavor. NYPD Pizza is a pizza place here in the orlando, Florida area. At one point, it had multiple locations, but now, I believe it is only down to this one. Curiosity just had me look at their website and I find that there is still multiple locations. The one that I remember here on the east side of Orlando has long since closed. In defense of the pizzeria, it was a very bad location that they chose. NYPD Pizza offers at best, middle of the road food. Mediocre pizza, the staff was friendly. I grew up in new jersey, where there is great pizza pretty much on every corner. With that being said, my expectations are high. Even if you're living in Florida for over twenty years, where I sadly discovered that great pizza is not available on every corner, I still seek out great pizza and am sadly more disappointed than celebrating a great find. I have only been here once a few years ago but decided to give it a shot again through Uber Eats. Ordered the Patrolman Pepperoni Calzone and Bone-in Wings. The calzone was mediocre. I can't really say anything bad about it but can't really say anything good about it either. I didn't love the flavor of the pepperoni itself and the sauce that was on the side was pretty basic. It was fairly large which made it a decent value for the price. I was more bothered that the wings were wrong. The order was for bone-in wings but instead I was given breaded boneless wings. Definitely wasn't what I wanted, which were basically over breaded chicken nuggets. I tend to order hot Buffalo wings but the hot sauce here was quite hot. I imagine the soaked thick breading had more sauce which probably made it seem hotter. All in all, there's much better pizza places in the area. I wasn't impressed the first time which is why I hadn't gone back, but this delivery I think was enough for me to realize that I should just keep to the other places in the area. read more

I have enjoyed NYPD Pizza a couple of times over the holiday season. Both times it was for pick up orders with multiple pies. The pies were freshly made and taste great. The chicken ranch and bbq chicken was a crowd favorite but I especially liked the Buffalo chicken pizza. It had moist chicken, wing sauce, mozzarella cheese and a light drizzle of blue cheese dressing. It was mild and very tasty. Ordering was easy and the restaurant was clean. read more

This review hurts me to write as this used to be the only pizza place we ordered from. NYPD Pizzeria was my go-to order when I wanted tasty and authentic NY Style pizzas, calzones, and strombolis. My last 2 out of 3 orders using Door Dash from NYPD Pizza have been terrible. Two times, the Swat Team Stromboli has been undercooked. Literally raw dough on the inside of the stromboli. As for the calzones, the cheese was barely melted on the inside. In addition, I ordered everyone desserts. New York Cannoli - Soggy and inedible Oreo Zeppoles - Super oily and tasted like old stale frying oil Brooklyn Stuffed Zeppoles - Same as above All of the desserts were inedible. The first time, I gave them a pass as I can understand errors can occur. This time I felt compelled to write a review to hopefully allow them to address their issues. read more

I was shopping in the area I decided to order a small cheese pizza to go from NYPD Pizzeria in winter garden. First I would like to say the crust was absolutely amazing I mean it was just like I was back in Manhattan From there it went downhill. I know the picture May reflect otherwise but there was an extreme lack of sauce and cheese on this pizza I mean I seriously felt like all I was eating was the crust I was so excited to try their pizza from the pictures on yelp but in true life it did not reflect the same. Was very disappointed . They have locations in Tampa and our office used to order from them every once in awhile and the pizza was absolutely amazing and had plenty of sauce and an abundance of cheese not sure what happened here. The slice was full of oil. Not a big deal. I just used a napkin to clean it up a bit. I was hoping to eat the slice while continuing my drive. Slice was as soggy as a wet towel. Completely collapsed when trying to pick up. Could not lift or fold like NY style pizza. Again, no big deal and stopped to eat. Unfortunately, tasted like day old pizza. It was very chewy. I have been here in the past and pizza was better. I noticed the slice was not pulled from the window display and pulled from the back. Not sure if the older pizza is kept in the back. Decided not to eat the whole slice. Tasted like 7-11 pizza. Not sure what changed but pizza is not the same as before. read more

We wanted half double pepperoni, half Hawaiian because my husband doesn't like ham or pineapple and I don't like pepperoni .... I guess they just threw everything together and called it a night. I'd really like to give them more stars. Ordered delivery last week and it was no issue. The girl on the phone was so super friendly and so was the driver. I'm a new address and it took a minute to find me. Pizza was amazing and we were really looking forward to our second visit. Until I just called to place an order. A different girl on phone who was super rude and told me that I was not coming up in the system. Then asked for my address and gave me the "Unfortunately you are 6.2 miles away and we deliver in a 5 mile radius". I said well you just delivered to me last week. So we tried my cell number to see if I came up that way. Got the same spiel repeated to me as if I were wasting her time. My daughter was looking for pasta and my wife and I were looking for a greek salad and a calzone. I am not usually one for take out, but right now it is great to see restaurants doing it good. I got home and realized that we were missing our garlic knots. We were not going to call because I did not want to drive back out there. After eating the calzone we realized we were missing the mushrooms on it. I messaged the restaurant just to let them know to watch their orders as they are adjusting to the volume of take out. The owner was very wonderful in rectifying and seemed appreciative of the information. Started with the greek salad. It has a good mix of feta, olives, lettuce, onions, and peppers. The calzone was filled with items with a good mix of flavors. The crust has a garlic butter topping that complements it perfectly. The sauce was a little on the sweet side. Bravo to this establishment! A true NY experience - the place looks and feels NY, from music playing in the background to wall decorations. There is even an I95 sign! Had family dinner from here - chicken cutlet at a very reasonable $8.99, prepared on a toasted bun, meatball sub also at $8.99, calamari cooked very well and of course a peperoni pizza (unsure why my kids didn't get anything else fancier).
