    Slice o cheese

Nice little place in Windermere. I was pleasantly surprised with this slice. It's a little thinner than a few other places but it has a good cheese to sauce ratio and a great mouth feel. Service was prompt

First time coming here and I came in to order a large Margarita pizza to-go, the young man in the front seemed to be nervous or maybe even new. I could barely hear him talk, it's like he mumbled under his breathe, just a little off. After ordering my pizza I asked how long it would be and in a very low tone the guy said "I don't know" so I just said "okay well I'll be back in about 15 minutes" and he just looked at me. Strange! I came back and my pizza was done. When I got home the pizza had great flavor but not enough sauce towards the crust. Im definitely gonna come back and order another pizza and ask for more sauce. The outside signage needs to be fixed.

I wanted take out /delivery and the other Italian restaurants in the area that work with door dash are way over priced. I've had pizza from here in the past so decided to try other items. I ordered lasagna, garlic rolls and tiramisu. The Food was mediocre at best. The lasagna wasnt bad but theres a reason its considerably less expensive than every other restaurant in the area. The garlic rolls were not soft, actually tasted like greasy day old rolls. The Tiramisu is a joke. No wonder they dont have a picture on their menu. Its tiny. It may be an ok portion but not for over $7. PS it was still frozen... Ive had the pizza and a Stromboli here in the past but I will not ever order their Italian dishes again and do not recommend it.

New to the area so thought we'd try a local pizza spot. We ordered the BBQ Hawaiian Pizza and 10 wings. The pizza was a decent pie. The structure of the pizza held up to the toppings. Flavor was good. Not too sweet considering we got the BBQ Hawaiian pizza. The wings didn't have much flavor. Texture wise, they were good. We ordered delivery and it took about an hour for delivery. We'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Drove half an hour only to find a sign that read "Closed for renovations". A little notice would be nice.

Really good pizza with fresh toppings and a flavorful sauce. The crust was a bit thicker than I prefer, but overall a great meal.

Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was good. I ordered a side house Salad with a side of wild salmon. The total was $18 which isn't bad, especially for the amount of food it came with. The salmon was not heavily seasoned, which I liked. I wish it came with lemon on the side but we had plenty at the table for water so it worked out fine. My salad was perfectly crisp as well. Serving sizes are generous and prices are reasonable.

The host shared with me that the servers were pretty busy, but that one would be with me shortly. This was all fine as I was waiting for the rest of my party to arrive everybody got there roughly around 650 at 7:15. We still had never seen a server come to our table. So I got up and spoke to the host and let him know that we've been there for well over 30 minutes and no one had to come to the table to offer to get a drink orders or anything. The host just said sorry and said he would get somebody right away. I saw him speak to at least two servers before finally somebody came over to our table. Not sure what the miscommunication was, but there certainly was some miscommunication. The server apologize for the miscommunication and offered to get us drinks, but at that point since we've been waiting for so long, we were just ready to put our order in. We are a party of four and all of us ordered a pasta dish of some sort with the exception of one person who ordered the fillet. I got the gnocchi, Bolognese and enjoyed the dish. I do find the sauce to be a little sweet for my liking. I also ordered the lasagna to go for my husband and while it traveled well when he got home, he also had the same comment about the sauce being a little too sweet. Again, the food didn't taste bad our pallets just picked up the sweetness. Overall, the food was okay. It was really more so the service and what appeared to be just disorganization in the dining room.

I think sometimes that the lack of service has kept me from eating out much, and then I go to Christinis where the service is too-notch. Great service can make lackluster food taste better but Christinis doesn't have to worry there. Their food is too notch as well. It is old world attentive service, and you can't help but feel special when you go there. Our server this evening was Atilla (sp?) and he has a commanding presence and keeps a close eye on things in an unobtrusive way. It was my birthday and they treated me very well. Okay, let's get to the food. Bread service before the meal was excellent. The bread came with an eggplant sauce that was excellent. They offer butter and olive oil but I say to forego that, and just have the eggplant sauce/dip. We both had the shrimp cocktail, which wasn't the plan. But the shrimp were so large and we hadn't had a shrimp cocktail in a long time, and boy was it good. The shrimp was fresh and as mentioned, very large. We then had a Caesar salad which was good. The cheese was good, but I was surprised that there were no anchovies. We like classic Caesar with anchovies, but the salad was good nonetheless. We split a small portion of the fagottini pasta with pear and Gorgonzola cream sauce. It was the absolute best. It sounds like an odd flavor combo but it works. We both had the veal (their specialty) hubby had the veal picatta. I had the Marsala. Both very good. It came with a polenta fritter that was good, I'm not sure what was inside, it had a nice flavor, maybe pimentos? Even though tiramisu or crème brûlée is usually my go to if having dessert, we went for cannolis for a "lighter" option. Very good as well. The last one the list is ambiance. Beautiful tables, classy elegant restaurant, and tuxedoed waitstaff. Excellent!

I like that I was able to substitute the potatoes for fruit for no upcharge. I will say that the menu stated my frittata had cheese in it, but I could not taste any kind of cheese. I wish there was a bit more stuff in general inside. It was a bit overcooked as well. I enjoyed the mimosas. For only $17 you could get unlimited, which was definitely worth it. I also tasted the Kir Royales and found them to be tasty but a bit too sweet for me to keep ordering. I do like that there is the option of four different drinks if you go the unlimited route.

I went when they first opened and remembered really enjoying it, but I have not been back for lunch. It was pretty quiet during that time. I ordered one of their zero proof mocktails, the 00 Spritz, which was light and refreshing. We decided to share a couple menu items including the beef carpaccio and the garlic knot sliders with pesto chicken parm. Prior to ordering, my colleague had asked our server about another menu item and the type of meat that was in the sauce because she cannot eat pork. It was clear that he was not very sure. For it not being very busy and most people dining in were on a lunch break, the food took quite a while to come out. We received the carpaccio first - it was very tasty and we both enjoyed it. When we received the garlic knot sliders, they looked amazing. It comes with 3 sliders and a side of fries. Once we began eating the sliders, my friend noticed that there was crispy prosciutto (aka pork) on them. This was not listed on the menu or mentioned by our server. Many people don't eat pork (for personal or religious reasons), so that ingredient really should be disclosed on the menu. Our server was apologetic and mentioned that they had just updated their menu so this must have been an oversight. Sadly, my friend did not have enough time left in her lunch break at this point to wait for something else to come out. I personally did enjoy the sliders and took the leftovers home. I also ordered the cacio e pepe pizza to-go to have for dinner later, and it was also very good. Besides that hiccup, overall the food was good and I would go back to try more menu items.
