We have been driving by this place for 8+ years and finally decided to stop. And we are thankful we did the marinara sauce with the mozzarella sticks was amazing. We both loved each dish that we got. I got the build your own, which was Angel hair pasta with shrimp and fettuccine sauce which next time I would ask for a little bit more sauce, but tasted delicious. We always love coming for authentic Italian food here at this Wintergarden local spot right off of West colonial and Dillard. Overall, the service is always friendly and quick, and in the background you can see live footage of the Rialto bridge in Italy. The food never disappoints either were always delicious and we always bring them as leftovers anyway cause it's quite filling. Overall, this was a good experience in our server Ryan was very attentive. I tried to the new lasagna special made with sausage and a Arrabiata sauce. Had an appointment in Winter Garden on a cloudy chilly afternoon and we stopped in here for lunch. It is a nice place, dimly lit with a few booths but mostly tables, it had a bar with a few TVs on, but SO cold inside! We may have left but we had limited time before our appointment. Service wasn't an issue, but there were very few people there on a weekday at lunch. I failed to get our servers name but she did ok other than not being able to adjust the A/C. Food was the winner! You stand in line at the counter to order your food then sit down and they deliver it. You get your own soda from a fountain station that is basically behind the counter. This in itself is odd; especially since they request a tip when you are paying when you order at the counter. I could be ok with this if the food was really good. I had to go up to tell them when we were ready for our dessert . Employees were not friendly in any way. I really regret giving them a tip once I realized how this whole thing worked They are an Italian restaurant, they don't have fettuccine. Ok, no worries. They do have pasta with Alfredo sauce. At least they called it Alfredo sauce. It tasted like raw flour. I don't even put flour in my Alfredo sauce so this really confused me. You can see how pasty the sauce is in the photo My mom got the lemon chicken. It was ok but not great. To me the sauce tasted like chicken stock with a little bit of lemon We also got a piece of lemoncello cake to share. The piece was maybe 1/2 the size you get on any other restaurant . From the rolls (not pictured because neither roll lasted long with the hint of garlic butter on them), to the croutons on the salad, to not being able to tell the difference between the gluten free pasta and the regular pasta, everything was delicious. We have eaten here about 20 times in the last few years and have always enjoyed the food, but felt strange with the get-your-own-drink aspect of it. After a reasonable interval, our food arrived. 2 huge bowls of deliciousness thick enough that it could have been called a stew. Lrt me tell you, I've been to restaurants that the orders contained little meat, little mushrooms, and a LOT of broth. Not here! These bowls were crammed with a ton of food. Shrimp, portobella mushrooms and pasta that was not overcooked. I gotta tell you, Sue and I dine out a LOT...various venues all over WG/Ocoee/Windermere/Clermont.
