Of the four contractors contacted, Wesly responded quickly and was at our house the next day asking all the right questions. we also discussed two other projects, more in just passing, but interested in what she would come back with. Within a day, she came back with a series of quotes, one for the stair job we needed, which was very reasonable and for a design that worked very well. Her team showed up the next day and were efficient and very detailed. Our three step project was done in a day and looked great! Although we told Wesly the price on the other patio resurface project was a bit more than we were ready to take on, didn't stop her from finding another option that cut the cost using a ceramic tile that offered better wear, more color options and a design that better matched our house. We could afford that! We were also able to redo a ghastly concrete step from our den that a prior owner bought at Home Depot and dumped in place. Wasn't to code either. The Team was back out and did a marvelous job! They were there three days, morning to late evening getting the job done. The result updated the back of our house, the slate and brick step off the den was to code and the patio was comfortable to walk on and made my wife's patio set look really good. Short story: J & J Quality was a real find and we are already talking about another project! if you need a job done right and for a good price, give Wesly and Team a call.

If I could give Talon Construction more than five stars, I absolutely would. From the very…read morebeginning, the entire team was professional, coordinated, and incredibly knowledgeable. They somehow turned what is typically a very stressful process into a smooth and collaborative one. We interviewed nine contractors before choosing Talon for a full gut renovation of our home. Talon stood out immediately as the most professional and detail-oriented team we met. We first connected with Darren in 2023, and his depth of knowledge was apparent from the beginning. He pointed out practical design considerations and code requirements that other contractors had missed. We went back and forth on the scope for over a year, and he was consistently patient, responsive, and generous with his time. He never rushed us and always made himself available to answer questions. We started construction in August 2025-- The construction crew had an excellent work ethic. They arrived early and worked hard - something even our neighbors commented on. They took pride in their work and paid close attention to details. The workmanship was just excellent. The work site was consistently clean and organized. They did a great job at handling unexpected situations and communicating that to me. Eddie took the time to explain everything thoroughly before moving forward. Even when we made scope changes, they were flexible and incorporated those changes without making it feel stressful or complicated. And probably the thing that impressed me the most was that they ran the whole project with integrity. They uncovered an improperly vented dryer which was a fire hazard and promptly brought it up to code. There were other moments like this throughout the project- too many to fully capture here - that consistently reinforced how much they value doing things the right way. I have to mention Eddie who was incredible throughout the entire process. He was calm, responsive and communicated clearly. He seriously made the entire project enjoyable. They were fair and transparent when it came to pricing and change orders. But more than anything, what I appreciated the most was their integrity, professionalism and genuinely caring about doing a good job. Everyone- Ed, Paul, Darren, Eddie and the construction crew were top notch. We honestly couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I would highly recommend Talon and would definitely work with them again!

The crews are respectful, care about your home and the outcome of the job, paying attention to every detail. All projects have issues and when they happen, the crews and back office work professionally to determine the best path forward for everyone involved (not just the company). They work on their reputation and will go above and beyond to protect it. They won't be the cheapest, but if you believe "you get what you pay for" Talon is worth it.

Not only that, Aaron Goodman is the type of professional contractor you hope for but almost never get. When I first contacted him to discuss what I was thinking (replacing old carpet upstairs, refinish stairs and railings and eventually refinishing existing wood floors), Aaron came out, measured and gave me some recommendations based on our existing wood. He referred me to a great showroom so I could pick out the wood to replace the carpet. I took my time deciding and never felt rushed. Aaron kept me up to date on the timeline of wood delivery, start dates and estimated completion dates. His crew was precise and efficient, finishing ahead of schedule. I looked for imperfections, but I was hard pressed to find anything of concern (I found one tiny chip underneath the shoe molding which they easily fixed for me - but I guess they are human after all lol). Installation of my wide-plank solid hardwood flooring was flawless. I appreciate the professional and thorough printed quotes he provides by email (not scribbled on a sheet of paper) and I loved the White Glove Service he and his crew provided. I have been recommending AG Construction to my real estate clients for almost a decade and they have never let me down. Aaron has always bent over backwards for my clients, even if they picked the wrong color, he has always jumped in to make them happy. I'm so excited to finally have a little AG "magic" in my own house!

Rolled right out. It was clear, Goodman's guys didn't even try. I asked how he would fix it and he said when the fridge dies and they take it out they will fix it. I asked for that in writing and Aaron the owner said "trust me." 2. Wood filler popped out of cracks immediately after refinish. 3. LVP supposed to last 10+ yrs. LVP is buckling. 4. Did not level the subfloor prior to installing the LVP. Over time, the LVP hás molded to the imperfections in the plywood sub-flooring. 5. LVP transition broke because threshold was not supported from underneath. The house is old and that was the excuse used at every obstacle. Maybe he's better with perfect scenarios not older homes.

After five business days, I reached out to Ashley, their coordinator. Despite multiple messages sent to both her direct number and the number they were actively using to communicate with me, I received absolutely no response. I was ignored and left hanging for nearly three weeks. Only after that did they finally respond, stating they were too busy with other projects to take mine on. This raises an obvious question: if they were never interested, why schedule the estimate at all? This behavior shows a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and basic respect for a customer's time. Consider this a warning: expect poor communication, broken commitments, and wasted time if you choose to engage with this company. It appears they prioritize only high-margin jobs and silently drop others without the courtesy of a timely or honest response. That is not how a legitimate, customer-focused business operates.
