One of the most unprofessional contractor experiences I've had. They came to my home for an estimate, gathered all the details, and explicitly promised to send a quote within three business days. That promise was broken. After five business days, I reached out to Ashley, their coordinator. Despite multiple messages sent to both her direct number and the number they were actively using to communicate with me, I received absolutely no response. I was ignored and left hanging for nearly three weeks. Only after that did they finally respond, stating they were too busy with other projects to take mine on. This raises an obvious question: if they were never interested, why schedule the estimate at all? This behavior shows a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and basic respect for a customer's time. Consider this a warning: expect poor communication, broken commitments, and wasted time if you choose to engage with this company.It appears they prioritize only high-margin jobs and silently drop others without the courtesy of a timely or honest response. Alberto and team removed our 15-yr-old shower, expanded it, retiled to match the rest of my bathroom, installed modern shower fixtures, honored their 1-year warranty and returned for misc touch-ups. The seasoned team showed up and left on time daily, covered the work area with plastic sheets, and cleaned up before leaving each day. Hands down the best contractors we've worked with. Know that sounds hyperbolic, but Alberto's team (Joell specifically) was very responsive -- nights, weekends, whenever. They hit almost all their deadlines and finished our kitchen remodel ahead of schedule. And the quality of their work was very good (thanks Juan!). Joell did a mock-up design for us before we'd even cut a check and worked with us closely on design choices that improved our vision for our kitchen. We checked out a few other contractors before hiring Alberto -- but everyone else was either exorbitantly expensive (with a long waiting list) or sketchy and suspiciously cheap. Now that our kitchen is done, I know we made the right choice. I admittedly can be sort of a fussy perfectionist, and Alberto and his team were patient and attentive to all of our requests. Amazing Experience from beginning to end! I was a bit skeptical about contacting them due to a lack of reviews and reputation. My plan was to build a kitchen in my basement. My original contractor quoted me an insane price I was gonna take a huge loan to do it. I contacted Mr Salas to come see my home for an idea of an estimate. He came within a day to survey the site. After reviewing the information I need electrical, plumbing, cabinet installation and flooring installation, he said to give him a few days to give me a quote. Meanwhile, I was working with Lowes getting my cabinets designed. To my surprise, Mr Salas quote was 1/3 of the price the other contractor quoted me. I was concerned about the quality of work but decided to go with it due to Mr.Salas reassurance. The entire project took approximately a little under 2 weeks. Throughout the time I had to run and n forth due to material issues that were not their fault. But overall, they made it easy. There are a few days I had to leave the house for work and no one is at home. The integrity level of this company is definitely upheld. No major issue occurred while I was gone. In the end, I was very impressed and glad that I went with Mr.Salas's construction company. Not only did it save me thousands of dollars, but it also did a magnificent job on everything. Full disclosure - we have not had any services done as we couldn't afford in full all the work we'd like done so this review is about the estimate and consultation. I found the business through Yelp and was impressed with all the great reviews and gorgeous work. My husband and I are looking to get our garage finished and also finish a bathroom to just put in a utility sink for now (we don't need any more full baths!). We had spoken to a couple other services - one gave a very general quote over the phone and another did come out. The numbers were insanely high - even higher than one of those slick/shiny garage finishing specialists in the area! I called and Alberto said he could be out on a Saturday to give an estimate. We were busy that day so we scheduled for the Monday after. He arrived right on time - even asked if it was OK to park where he did. He took all the measurements and said he'd have a write-up done by the end of the week. I did follow-up 5 days later and his team immediately sent over an email with the estimate. The quote was extremely competitive and every single detail was included in the quote. Unfortunately as I said, we can't afford all the the right now but we will definitely be reaching out after our wedding to see about moving forward with the work on our home! Alberto and his team were top notch. The ceiling collapsed unexpectedly in the Master Bedroom and we needed it fixed as soon as possible. When I called Alberto, he was there the same day to provide an estimate. We were also concerned with the ceilings elsewhere in the top floor that had not collapsed yet. Alberto provided a couple of different options to fix the problem depending on what was within our budget. Alberto provided a great price for all options. I really appreciated Alberto taking the time to explain the options for us to make an informed decision of replacing all of the ceilings in the second floor of the house. When work began, Alberto and team were always punctual and professional. They took great care in making sure that no belongings in the house were damaged and took time of the front end to make sure everything was organized. Alberto always answered any questions I had throughout the process and was clear in the time it would take to finish. The final work product was outstanding. The new insulation, ceilings, and painting all look perfect. Alberto had a cleaning crew clean the house so that no debris/insulation was remaining in the house from the work. Had our bathroom re-done completely - when they were ripping out our tub and old tile, they found massive water damage (photos below). They remediate everything, replaced all the rotten wood, properly insulated it all, and then continued with the work as scheduled. I think maybe his initial time estimate was building in a buffer, because they still completed the job on schedule! They were efficient, timely, honest, and more than competent. Alberto was good at communicating with us, was not at all pushy, made great suggestions, and was very kind. We also really liked his team - I'm blanking on the main contractor's name (I think it was Jorge?) but he was fantastic! Super nice guy and did a really good job. I received a text from someone else just a few minutes before he was supposed to arrive saying something about him having an emergency and not being able to come over. Didn't sit right with us, given that we were notified of this emergency right before our appointment, and only after we had contacted them to confirm. He might really have had an emergency, but it seemed like very odd timing. I think they probably could have let us know earlier in the day. Our tenant created a big problem with a bathroom flood and A. Salas' quote was in line with the other 2 quotes we got, but stood out because Alberto noted serious problems that went beyond what the tenant told me. I had grand plans for our tiny bathroom, and Alberto came to the job prepared to listen to my vision and he even looked at my Pinterest board with me. Communication was excellent from beginning to end, and the project miraculously came in under budget.
