We called a few local realtors and decided on Niego (Nee-go) after seeing all those bus benches up and down Archer Ave. A friend of ours had a good experience with Niego in selling her home, as the buyer's agent was Angela from Niego Realty. I called the office, answered a few basic questions about the kind of home we were looking for, and we were paired up with Brent Wilk. I'm not sure of the process in which we were matched up since I was put on hold for a few minutes until Brent picked up the phone, but however it worked, it was a good match. Brent made himself available to us at nearly all hours. He was answering my emails about the MLS listings well into the night, before we had even met! I was beginning to wonder if this guy had a life outside his job. However, Brent was aggressive in trying to get us our first home. Our first few outings with Brent weren't anything special. He showed us homes in the price range we were looking for, but assured us that after a few times out he'd get a feel for what we were looking for, and he was very, very right. He "got" us right away and understood our concerns for space, neighborhood safety, and location. He was very upfront about resale values, which neighborhoods were safer, and he also pointed out other homes he'd sold in the neighborhoods we were looking. We also got to meet with some other realtors in the agency, and everyone we talked with was more than polite and really seems to love their job. Paul H. was the seller's agent and was a really nice guy. He came into our closing with a big smile and ready to get the deal signed. Overall, I'd recommend this agency to any of my friends and family who are looking to buy and sell. We had a great experience with them and when we're looking to sell (though after the governmental paperwork loophole from hell, I doubt I'll be selling this house ever; they'll have to pry the keys from my cold, dead hands!) we'll definitely return to Niego.

Here's my currently experience with this office/realtor. I signed a contract to sell my property with MB, he promised the moon and back and of course I expected nothing less than professionalism. Experience #1 - after receiving 3 offers on the property, all below market value, MB (realtor) called me to express his concerns for one of the buyers saying "She's crying because she really wants this property, she's living in a basement, her daughter has asthma, you won't get what you're asking for, sign the contract. Experience #2 - the buyers realtor who also works for Remax 10 came in with his potential buyer second showing and made a big fuss telling that I won't get a better offer and to consider selling to his buyer way under market value, because she's paying cash I should just take the offer or the house will sit on the market for a long time. Mr. JN proceeded to provide me with a personalized market analysis (he's not my realtor) I felt so intimidated and I'm starting to believe this two realtor are scams for the seller, just want to make a quick dollar without consideration to the sellers Please, please if you want to sell your house don't go here, if you want to buy, maybe you'll get a great deal at the expense of the sellers. Where do I begin?!? We had just gotten the pre-approval from the bank and were in desperate need of…read morea real estate agent. We literally sat with our phones and started googling real estate agents, we called a few but most of them were either busy or we just never heard from them. We were just passing through and noticed the big Remax MiCasa logo and we decided to call the number. The receptionist referred us to Alejandra Muñoz, we spoke to her briefly and we immediately had a showing scheduled for the following day. Alejandra is also a person that communicates with you with everything that is happening. The whole process of buying a home is quite challenging but Alejandra really went all out to make sure we had the house we wanted. Once our offer got accepted, we had to wait for the fun part of having the loan go through and unfortunately for us that was not happening because of the loan officer we were working with. We were just waiting on the appraisal and the loan to go through, but our loan officer wasn't responding to our messages. Once he did the answers, he provided were not conclusive. The listing agent was already considering putting the house back on market because the lack of response from our loan officer. Even through all that stress and panic mode, we were lucky enough that Alejandra referred us to another loan officer, Sergio Soto whom works with Caliber Home Loans but stays within Remax Micasa. Sergio was another exceptional guy, we were already two-three weeks in just waiting on the loan and appraisal to get through, but Sergio made everything possible and completed it within days! (speedy fast). If it wasn't for Sergio's talent, we would've lost our earnest money, inspection fee and most importantly the house wouldn't have been ours. In the end everything brighten up for us, we got the home and are almost a month in from the closing date! Working with Alejandra was one of our best decisions we ever made. We both are very pleased that we were just passing through that day and notice the big logo.
