Walking in just after open, Ryan was kind enough to tell us about what was on tap and make suggestions. The atmosphere is welcoming and there are plenty of seating options. There for the Fish-n-Chips, we ordered two and a Ribeye for Mom. We also ordered Cheese Curds. Everything was well made and delicious. The beer selection was diverse with lots of choices for us. They have a full bar, as well, and are prepared to fix you a Jameson any way you like it. Happy Holidays.

The vibes are dead, but the bar has a homey feel. I've come on weekend nights, and there's been almost no one inside. They have darts on the second floor. The mixed drinks were surprisingly pricey.

My girlfriend and I found our way to O'Brien's on the last "First Friday". We appreciated the live music and after an evening of bar-hopping, this spot made the best drinks we had all night! Both the owner and our bar tender were super friendly. Tips: If you order the fish and chips, have them make the fries garlic Parmesan and ask for extra ranch! My other tip, is do a beer flight- they have a lot of amazing Texas beers on tap!

Cool vibe. Slow service. I was hoping for a little more experience. The bartenders were friendly but not very attentive to detail.

My Think Pink drink was good, but overpriced. They don't have prices on the cocktail menu, and this felt more like a $9 drink than the $12 it turned out to be. My husband's beer was very well priced, I thought, at $6.50 for an IPA. My husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich. It wasn't tossed in buffalo sauce, just unevenly drizzled on top so the full sandwich wasn't covered. He asked for a side of sauce to finish the job and we were charged $0.50 for it. He was also charged $0.50 for a side of ranch for his fries. In general, I just don't agree with charging for condiments. I had the Alehouse Burger and it was fine. It had a bacon tomato jam so I thought it would be okay without condiments, but it was dry. It needed pickles. None of the burgers on the menu had pickles. Burgers should have pickles. We weren't given a kid's menu when we were sat, so I thought they didn't have one (it's a pub, I get it), and I tried to just order a side of mashed potatoes for my son. Our server was cool with it and was able to ring it in (because she later had to take it off the ticket) but the kitchen told her they don't serve individual sides which is very odd to me. You have a button for it on the POS, you can serve a side on an entree plate, so just put that amount on a side plate. It seems like a very easy way to cater to your customers. The sun really shines through those back windows in the evening. Some pull down shades would be a huge improvement. It's a beautiful view, but not when the sun is setting and blazing into your retinas. Overall, food was mid, prices were a little too high across the board, service, as always, was great.

Decent beer selection. I'd come back another time as they have a lot of beer, some mixed drinks and what seemed to be a pretty big menu ! Big place. Lots of seating. Lots of TVs. From the moment you walk in, the service is impeccable, no matter how busy they are. It's a symphony of flavors in every dish, orchestrated by chefs who truly care about their craft. Having dined from coast to coast and even across continents, I can attest that the culinary talent here is exceptional. One common letdown at seafood restaurants is the hesitance to season and enhance flavors, but not here! The chefs are not just cooking; they're passionately crafting dishes that explode with taste. Take the Cajun pasta, for example. At first glance, it seemed like it might be a bit lacking in flavor, but the moment my wife and I took our first bite, it was a flavor explosion that left us both speechless! I'm pretty sure I could enjoy that dish for the rest of my life! The Rainbow Trout was nothing short of perfection, the catfish was divine, and the fried calamari had us coming back for more. My wife and I have even started a fun challenge to see if we can find a single mediocre dish on the menu, but I don't think we'll ever succeed! Hats off to the team at Dead Fish! This restaurant is an absolute gem, and each visit leaves us wanting more. If you're looking for a place that serves exceptional seafood with a punch of flavor, look no further. Well done, Dead Fish!

This restaurant has SO MUCH POTENTIAL yet it falls short every time I go. This last time we went…read more(6/20/26) it was for a new reason. It was in the mid 80s and over 50% humidity outside. We were wanting to sit outside for the amazing view. We are led to the table closest to the back door. The misters were on like an indoor sprinkler fire suppression system. I'm talking soaking wet everything. Our table was getting misted and the chairs on the mister side had puddles of water on the seats. This is because the humidity outside was too high for misters to be effective (they cool air via evaporation- it was too humid for this to occur). We asked our waitress (who was great) if we could get the misters turned down or off since they were not making it any cooler and just getting everything soaking wet and she said she didn't want to get in trouble. I said they could be mad at us and just tell the manager the misters are getting everything wet. She gave the impression that she'd asked this several times before and management denied customer requests to turn them off. It was so soaking wet the floor had a "caution wet floor" sign on it, which means management was aware of the state of the situation and did nothing. ? Management, if the misters are resulting in wet surfaces, that means the mist is not evaporating, and the misters are not working. This is a very simple concept. There are other things that could be improved. Once the sun started setting we were getting blinded so we all moved to the other side of the table facing away from the sun (and the lake). This is an easy fix- install some shades! This is a double solution as they can be used to retain warmth in cold weather. Overall the food was really good. The gumbo was weirdly gelatinous and did NOT TASTE LIKE traditional gumbo- I'm from southeast Texas, from a long line of Cajun cooks. It tasted more like gravy and had a gravy texture. Not really edible. The snapper was delicious. The basil cream sauce was a smart choice, but it also was way too thick and had a goopy, non-pourable texture. Seemed like too much cornstarch was added. I ordered a bahama mama and asked for the alcohol on the side because I've felt the drinks are skimped here in the past, and they only gave me 1 shot of rum when the menu says there is a light and a dark rum shot in the drink. Waitress said the drink already had the coconut rum in it- definitely didn't taste like it. Plus, I've asked for this before and they did bring out 2 shots, so I think I just got skimped which is per usual. There was also a 6-ish y/o little boy who spent about 20-30 mins running and stomping up and down the deck right alongside our table. He was enjoying himself stomping in the mister puddles. Not his fault that he wasn't being supervised or contained; his parents were somewhere way far away out of eye and earshot. I saw waitresses notice, but no one made the effort to get this child's parents to corral him back to their table. We love kids so this wasn't as big of a deal as it could have been. So much potential, so many oversights. I believe in this place and I know they can improve!

I sat down at the bar and ordered a beer and buffalo chicken dip. After waiting 40 minutes with no food, I watched multiple people around me sit down after I did, place full meal orders, and receive their food while I was still waiting on an appetizer. Only then did the bartender go to the back and remind the kitchen that my food had apparently never come out. He returned and apologized. Ten more minutes passed and the food still never arrived. At that point I told the bartender to just cancel the order. He spoke with the manager, who walked over to the register to remove the item from my ticket, but never even acknowledged me, apologized, or said a single word. He literally walked right past me. The bartender later asked if the manager had spoken to me, and I told him no. The bartender apologized again. The bartender was the only person who acted professionally. The management was terrible. A manager should have come directly to me, apologized for the complete breakdown in service, and comped the food that still had not arrived after nearly 50 minutes. Based on this experience, ownership needs to seriously evaluate the leadership at this location because the lack of accountability and customer service was unbelievable. The entire place felt disorganized, neglected, and poorly managed. I paid my tab and walked out, and I won't be returning.
