My 18-year-old said the burger was pretty good, which is a resounding endorsement. The rock star of the meal was the chips and beer cheese. This is also where they do their live music on the weekends. From behind barrows, you can walk down to the creek, and this is where they have the ice cold natural spring that comes out of the ground. You are welcome to bring their beers down here and sit in the water or sit by the water and hang out and enjoy the creek. Depending on the day, there can be anything happening here from a farmers market to vendors to food trucks to music to dancing anything you can think of so definitely check out their Facebook page for the activities. Absolutely family friendly and there's usually tons of kids having a blast down here with their parents. We like the beer a lot and the staff is friendly and we end up here more than once every single time that we're in Salado, so don't skip it!

Forty minutes before closing the server took the three-quarter's full container and dumped it on the plants. I was planning to get more water! All the food was delicious. Cooked to perfection. Service was spot on. Whatever we needed the staff was right there. They only serve beer and beer type bottles, like Mikes lemonade. The people that frequent The Durango Inn are friendly and full of local conversation. The conversation makes up for the "ambiance ". I highly recommend visiting, staying for the fantastic food.
