To me, what makes their fish fry so great is their portions are extremely generous, you get 4 pieces of fish, a handful of fries, two slices of buttered rye bread, coleslaw, tartar sauce, and a lemon wedge. The way their fish is prepared and battered is my favorite. It doesn't have that super thick, almost pancake batter like breading that tastes like a corn dog. Instead it's very lightly breaded so that it's fish forward with a nice crunch. This is just my preference, but to me, it's the best fish fry I've ever had. A friend ordered a salad and the greens were fresh and was not smothered in dressing! The usual experience up here is to get fried foods at restaurants as they usually don't have healthy selections but I was very happy with how everything was prepared. The sweatshirts they sell are probably the most comfortable you will find. Try one on and thank me later. I keep mine in my office at work all year long.
