A great place with friendly staff and fast service. The atlantic grilled salmon tastes great with a crunchy top. The vegetables are good too as sides. They bring out buttered bread before your food too. Even though we didn't try them, they also have pies. Overall, a good place to stop and eat at. I definitely would go again. read more

Unfortunately, it seems this location is going downhill. And thats sad because my first review was good. We have eaten there maybe 10 times over the past year and had 50/50 experience. I will focus on the most recent example, but have had more than one similar experience. My wife, son and I went in on Saturday night about 7:00pm. They were clearly busy. We were seated quickly and waiter showed up to take drink order quickly. He came back with drinks, said they were out of rolls ( this seems to happen a lot here even when not busy) and would be back in a couple minutes. He took our order and left. 20 minutes passed. No rolls. Drinks empty, no drink refills offered, he never checked back. We flagged him down and asked for rolls and drinks. He apologized and went to back. 20 minutes pass again. He comes back with rolls and drinks. Doesnt give us plates for rolls, doesnt take away old glasses. 15 more minutes pass with no food. ( We have been here over an hour at this point and seen waiter twice) He finally brings food and everything was barely lukewarm. I dont like piping hot food as a rule but wouldnt complain about it obviously. I prefer mine to cool. But this was truly room temperature. We are a little tired at this point so flagged down another waitress who got manager since our waiter disappeared again. He was very pleasant and apologized. I went over the issues we had seen in a respectful manner, like no plates, long wait, dirty glasses on table, cold food etc. He said he would reheat the food to reduce wait but never cleared dirty glasses or empty bread basket. Food came back hot and delicious. Dirty glasses and bread basket remained throughout meal. Manager subtracted 50% from entree price. He did what he could to fix problem and I commend him. BUT we had almost exactly the same experience with cold food on the visit before that. I didnt review that one because maybe it was an off night. It seems they get busy and let the food sit in window far too long rather than checking quality before sending out to tables. Hopefully they get it together and realize they are starting to drive away loyal customers, because we have liked it 50% of the time. read more

So we went to the bar to have a drink and place a dinner order to go. The barmaid is always awesome and makes a great drink. We ordered a whole slab of ribs, asparagus and coleslaw at a cost of $23. When we got home and opened the box, the whole slab of ribs consisted of six ribs. Great server and awesome food! We ordered chicken and sirloin and everything was perfect. Rolls were hot and drinks were always filled. The server was very sweet and came around often. Sat in the bar area and it was a great environment for a Sunday dinner. Will definitely be back! read more

I was impressed with the staff at this location. Our waitress took the time to help us with gluten choices and we never felt rushed. The food was very good and we were tended to frequently, we didn't have to wait long to be served and it was a pleasant dining experience. Job well done! I was at a family ornament exchange and the waitress was rude to our table, I ordered a burger and she forgot it then I asked and it was only cooked half way. I got salmonella and threw up later. She also dropped my burger twice and tried to give it to me. O'CHARLIES, HARRISON OHIO on RING ROAD....Stopped in today at about 1:00 Was told there was a 20 minute wait. I noticed 9 tables were open and a couple dirty. Hostess said they did not have enough waitstaff. When finally seated waited 12-15 minutes to be greeted. Gave order right away, 2 NASHVILLE HOT CH.IC SANDS, 1 SHRIMP PASTA, 1 KIDS RIBS. Was informed the kids ribs were free with an adult order (we had 2 adults orders.) A LOOOOONG TIME LATER...we got our food. Buns on Sandwiches dried out on top and chicken tasted like old grease and the "Cole Slaw" topping was merely about a tblspn of thinly sliced cabbage, no dressing at all. Fries on both were lukewarm at best. Kids shrimp pasta and kids ribs I guess were ok. I asked for bill, when I finally got it, I was charged for 6 iced teas, not 3 as ordered and the kids ribs were on the bill. Found waitress, she acted surprised and said she would get it taken care of. We waited and waited, family went to car and I stood up at front waiting. Hostess went and got waitress, got bill FINALLY, IT WAS 2:25, teas were to 3 as ordered but kids ribs still on bill. At that point I had enough aggravation, had a long drive ahead of me so I left. Was there 2/7/2015 for lunch at noon. Not busy at all for Saturday lunch but service was poor, management was poor and food was decent. Manager stood and chatted with a table of construction workers she knew as the rest of the restaurant was receiving horrible service. We used to love eating at this restaurant but the last two times have been horrible. We never had any problems when Angie was managing the store, so whoever's managing now needs to be step it up. Let's start with the first visit hostess sat us and we waited 20 minutes for a server that never showed up so we walked out, we decided to go back and try it again this weekend a little slow with getting our order out to us, two of the four meals were hot and delicious but the other two had brown cold French fries and the kids grilled cheese bread was burnt black on one side and the cheese was so hard your couldn't even bite through it, so needless to say we won't be going back to this restaurant again. read more

Obviously, O'Charley's is a chain, but hey it was pretty good anyway. I wasn't expecting much since the reviews of this place weren't great, but I've always had good experience at all the O'Charleys I've ever dined in. This place was no exception. It was clean (both bathrooms and dining area), service was super friendly, attentive, and fast, and the food was absolutely delicious!! When I first arrived, there was no one at the front but in the time it took for me to glance around the dining room and turn around, someone was there with a smiling face and guiding me to my table. I know they go by set recipes, but it was perfectly executed. I ordered the salmon with orzo pasta and kale, and it was seasoned perfectly, tender and medium rare on the inside, smokey on the outside. My date had the cedar-smoked salmon and was also pleased. Waitress checked on us frequently and was super considerate. Prices were definitely reasonable. Will definitely dine here again. read more

Decent food, average prices. There isn't anything extraordinary about this place, but expect a wait, as it is one of the only restaurants that is family friendly and serves alcohol in Harrison. I've always had friendly servers, but they skimp on the butter that comes with the free rolls. read more
