Cheese fries and hot honey tenders
    Aleeza A.

Loveeee Chef Nem. The hot honey chicken tenders are sooo yummy and really what draws me back here. There is not seating inside so really you just put your order in and wait in your car until they text you letting you know it's ready and then take it to go, hence the name. Their lemonade is also really tastey and a great addition to the meal. The service is fine too. Nothing has gone wrong for me when I have ordered or picked up my food so I don't really have much to say about that. Otherwise, a great spot to try especially being so close to the University of Cincinnati!

The food was great I do think the portion could be bigger. The price was definitely nice I only paid around $20.I ordered off of door dash and the food was fresh and showed up hot.

Lamb chops with mac and cheese

The mac and cheese is a must try, very rich in flavor. By far my favorite of the 3 things i tried. I also tried the fried salmon bites which were served with a sweet and sour sauce. The combination was good and the salmon had a nice fried texture. And finally, had the lamb chops which were served with a Carolina gold sauce. An unexpected but delicious pair.

This diamond in the rough can be found in the heart of Avondale where delicious dishes are created for a decent price. Salmon, lamb chops and shrimp are abundant on the menu, over a bed of creamy, cajun alfredo penne or fries. Chef Nem is a gem and a gentleman. He took good care of every customer that walked in with assistance of his efficient staff. No doubt this establishment is ground floor, and it's a small store front with two windows; one to take your order and the other to pick up after they call your phone. Wait time is about 15-20 minutes. They are closed Monday and Tuesday, and we went on Wednesday, so they had a revolving door of hungry customers. (They take orders online as well, though I found it difficult to do). Security mans the narrow and bumpy parking lot and opens the door for customers. Patrons driving in make it make sense for everyone to get in and out without issue. We ordered wingdings with garlic parmesan, which were so tender and perfectly doused in sauce. We also had the salmon cajun alfredo penne. So creamy and seasoned just right. The salmon was a little over grilled but forgiving. They also have asparagus, ya'll!!!!! Chef Nem personally brought my order out to me and opened the door with a smile to exit the building. There's so much more in the menu to try. We will definitely be back!

    Shrimp Alfredo

I was craving shrimp Alfredo and This definitely did the job and it's a nice size portion! I have more than half left for tomorrow ! Flower was a nice touch too! Def will be back when I'm in town again!

    Pineapple Mango Lemonade

The food was delicious! We got the loaded salmon fries with Parmesan wings and two lemonades, pineapple mango. Definitely was worth the long wait.

If you go, expect a wait since everything is made to order. You can place a text order with a minimum of $50 spend and paying in advance. The menu covers a decent range of food, with the specialty items being drippy tenders and loaded fries. The tenders lived up to the name and were definitely dripping in a delicious sauce. I would actually come back just to get a sampling of the sauces offered. The lemon garlic salmon fries were good, I just wish the fries had been a bit more well done and crispy vs kind of soggy beneath the toppings. In addition to the food, there is a homemade nemonade served that has a great strawberry peach flavor. This is a to go place only and it takes about 30-40 min to get your food so be prepared to either stay in the small parking lot or have something else to do in the area. In addition to the published menu, there is a person on site who provides desserts so save room!

    Lamb

Came here after a post on Chowdown Cincinnati, and was not disappointed with the food. However, we came unprepared to wait and spent 45 mins hangry in the car. This is definitely best ordered ahead of time by calling or texting. Wait was worth it though because the food was incredible. Not pictured was the Mac and cheese because I scarfed it down on the drive home. It was a small portion for the price though. Overall, if you get used to the way they do business you're in for some yummy food!

    Salmon Egg Rolls

Food was amazing, best takeout food I've in a long time. Everything was seasoned to perfection. I had the salmon egg rolls and shrimp with salmon lemon garlic fries, so good. My daughter and niece had their honey and regular wings with cheese fries. They couldn't stop raving about food and can't wait to go back. We also got a side of the Mac we all tried and loved it and believe me we can be picky. You do have to wait a bit but it was well worth it! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

The wait is absolutely ridiculous, especially when you order an hour and a half earlier...Will not be going back.

What we drank/ate: -Bottle of red blend - Fine -Pineapple mocktail - Really good! -Garlic Bread - Delicious! -Fries with horseradish sauce - Loved the fries and sauce! Large portion. -Caesar salad - Fine, but not oustanding. -Vodka rigatoni x 2 - Delicious. Spicy. -Truffle fettuccine - Really good! -Medium rare steak frites - My son liked the sauce. I would pass on the sauce next time, because I thought it tasted like bacon. Upcharged $3 for truffle fries. Next time I would stick with plain. Son loved the garlic aioli (spicy). I preferred the horseradish sauce. -Hummingbird cake - Amazing!! Favorite dessert anywhere! -French press coffee - @ $5 this is a steal! Honestly, it was enough for our whole party and was really nice coffee! Everything was delicious and service was top notch! We love Sotto. We all agreed that Sotto's Caesar is better and the donuts are close, but Five wad better in every other way! We can't wait to return.

The rest of the restaurant was compensating to hear each other and my husband and I were considering texting across the table since there was no way we could hear each other. Fortunately, they left about 15 minutes later. Service was prompt and attentive. I ordered an old fashioned and got a cute glass with an ice cube the approximate size of a baseball (and the old fashioned was good). We had the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and it was great - mix in your horseradish as desired (if you don't mix it in, the cocktail sauce is sweet, but with your desired level of horseradish, very good). My husband had the burger, and liked it a lot. I had the pork chop and a side of mashed potatoes, and I think this was the best pork chop I've had in my entire life. The apple finish and the carrots were divine (I didn't love the greens but they were okay) and the mashed potatoes were spectacular. We loved this romantic dinner experience and can't wait to come back. Hopefully without a loud party in the bar. (We were happy for them - they were just loud). Definitely recommend.

If you prefer a quieter setting, then eating in the bar is your best bet because the dining rooms do get loud. We started with the east/west coast oysters and they were so fresh. The passion fruit mignonette was the perfect compliment. I kept scooping out tiny spoonfuls and drinking it after we finished the oysters. The Fluke Crudo was fantastic. The combo of flavors and textures was a delight for the palate. The scallops over the miso leek risotto was one of the best scallop dishes we have ever eaten. The scallops were huge and cooked perfectly and there were plenty of pieces of leek in a lovely, smooth risotto. We're not a fan of hijiki, so the chef prepared the risotto without it - Thanks Chef Jose! And you would think chicken schnitzel would be basic, but not this dish. The chicken was so moist, perfectly seasoned, and pan fried in butter. We asked for the sauce on the side because we knew we wouldn't finish the big piece and wanted to heat it up later and still be crispy (which we did). We were amazed that eating the chicken, almond, asparagus, and some sauce in one bite, was SO good. The best two meals we have had in Cincinnati so far in 2026 have been here, and Mita's. Chef Jose is a real talent.

Loved seeing some menu throwbacks to the previous restaurant. The rigatoni, beets, bread service, squash & fish were all delicious. We only had two sour notes all night - celebrating a birthday (directly told our server when she asked), and no birthday dessert was offered. Normally wouldn't expect that, but TWO tables next to us got a cake slice with a candle. It felt a bit rude to have our special night missed when others were acknowledged. Our table ended up ordering the chocolate cremeux which had the worst, over-smoked ice cream flavor any of us ever experienced -- mother of god. Not sure why that exists.
