I requested a quote for new windows on my solarium. A few days later Sean was at my condo, did measurements, gave me a welcome packet. He said he would have an estimate for me in two days. No estimate. I'm on the 2nd floor (of 2 story building) I don't have the correct roof. My roof was replaced last year. I asked in the office about this. Two other second story owners recently had their solarium windows replaced by O'Donnell. The office is looking into this. Why can't I? read more

O'Donnell replaced my shutters a year ago, and am really a fan of this company and their product. Year goes by and I just tested my shutters in advance of hurricane season: they went together just like they're supposed to. Original install was quick and the install staff was ready and able to answer questions, then when completed, they took me around and provided a short but detailed brief on maintaining them in new condition. Followed their guidance ( which is simple and straightforward ), with the results as noted. Great product and company staff. read more

In May/June 2023, my husband and I had O'Donnell Impact Windows install windows in our house. The service from the company and its employees was great. We were told by our sales representative Dylan the wait time for the windows and that Jacky would call us in three months and six months to give us an update on progress. He also told us that Amy would call two weeks before construction started to give us the date and our project manager's name. All of that happened as Dylan explained. Our project manager was Keith; he was excellent. He kept the project on schedule, brought in extra resources as needed and told us every day what to expect for the following day - what work would be done and who would be here to do it. Our two main installers were Esvin and Juan Carlos. We could not have asked for better workers. They were professional, worked well together as a team, kept us informed on progress and were respectful of our property (put tarps on the floors, put plastic over all of the furniture and cleaned up after they were done). They were very efficient; no wasted time; no drama - here to get a job done but also polite and nice. The same can be said for all of the workers that came in to install some windows, put down transition strips and help clean up. O'Donnell's owners have definitely reinforced the work ethic and customer satisfaction traits that all of their employees displayed. Horrible took over a year for installation of hurricane shutters they lost the ability to install generators after we pur chased. It sat in our garage for months we used another company to install generator. the hurricane shutters did not pass inspection , they were not responsive to our issues. We did two homes. Amy, You passed an AFFIDAVIT inspection. That means the town never came out to my house and inspected. Further, a PGT rep was already at my house and stated that the leaking windows are not a manufacturer defect. In addition, we've had a building envelope expert tell Martin County that your window install was not proper or to code. Can you explain the leaking windows, Amy? According to Martin County, they told us they are requiring you to re-install the windows and that they would be there monitors that re-installation. My pictures are accurate. My videos are accurate. You are terrible. You told us you wouldn't speak to us and told us to contact your lawyer. We then said, "ok, what is your attorney's name?" Your company said they wouldn't tell us. Give me a break! People, take my misfortune as a lesson. Go to Kamrell Windows or the Glass Professionals. 40 THOUSAND dollars worth of windows/doors shouldn't be leaking. They were just installed. We aren't quite ready for replacement of our current windows and heavy slider so they recommended a gentleman to replace our rollers and repair the track. Bought us some time until we can save up for major replacement work. We will definitely use O'Donnell when we do that work. Frank was wonderful and quick. Thanks for recommending him. read more

We have used O'Donnell in the past and they were great. This year we needed to add one accordian shutter. We waited months after the promised install date ( prior to hurricane season) and kept getting put off. When it finally arrived, the installers were borderline rude, destroyed all my plants (unnecessarily since I cleared plenty of space in anticipation) and stepped on my solar lights. Overall a very frustrating experience. read more

After working through a quote for many months with O'Donnell and trying to figure out which windows and doors we wanted to replace - they decided to decline our project because we didn't get approved for the entire financing amount. I requested a close family member cover the difference and they mentioned that due to the "uniqueness" of our situation they were not interested in taking our job. Well thanks O'Donnell for this waste of time. Our money must not be good enough for you due to us not wanting to spend $35,000 on windows out of pocket for a growing family of 5, small business owners and people working to support themselves. Our financing covered $22,000 of the 35k we needed. When we asked to pull a 2nd credit application to pull the difference they declined our project. O'Donnell - in the middle of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC - you should be ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES! Glad you declined because we aren't interested in moving forward with you either now that we know how you treat the working class, a young family of 5 that is trying to upgrade their first home ... and I guess I'll just add this too, maybe it's because we don't fit your perfect family and we're an interracial couple....I guess we'll never know - who cares!? I went to them to get proposal for new shutters. Schedule appointment then no show reschedule and took two efforts to get proposal for new shutters. Then went in to schedule work. My salesman wasn't there so another said they could help then said he said he couldn't. Next day my salesman sent email saying they wouldn't do work without giving any reason. We hired O'Donnell to replace 6 regular windows with impact windows. To make a long story short, these "custom" windows were manufactured with a lock that is too high to reach! Who designs that? I have to leave the top lock in the unlocked position. O'Donnell refuses to address the problem. Jordan made at least 3 appointments to come out and never showed, then called to say he had just been handed the file (as though I would not remember that he had been working on it) and would be right out. He didn't show up again. When they finally showed up they said they wouldn't do anything about it. I'm not even going to mention that they tried dumping stucco from the job onto the empty lot next door. I would not use them again. read more

The very worse experience of my life dealing with O Donnell Windows. My windows constantly leak, they flunked inspection twice. Have not been able to enjoy my lanai in almost two years. I presently have no screens and no one ever contacts me to let me know when the work will be finished. I always have to call and always get a run around. I was told in October it would be two weeks, it is now the middle of January. I would never recommend them. read more

Did 3 phases with O'Donnell. On the 3rd phase they sent out this little condescending person by the name of Corey who thinks that he is far more superior to those around him. He walked onto my property to resolve a situation please note that we were standing right there, did not even come up and introduce himself to the homeowners. They just don't know how to communicate. I signed a contract and paid the 50% down payment on June 13th 2017. The contract I signed said the estimated delivery/installation would be 9-12 weeks out. You would think that when the 9 week mark comes around that at least at that time someone would contact you with an update regarding your installation date. On 9/1 I called them because the 12 weeks are over on 9/5. They still couldn't give me anything better than "it will be a couple of weeks". Instead of notifying me as soon as they knew they can't meet the deadline they do nothing. It can't get any worse than that when it comes to customer service. read more
