Not pleased. Sales person said we should not get a gutter on a patio roof despite us telling him we wanted one. Engineer comes out and says "you know you really should have a gutter". So engineer trumps sales and we agree to the gutter. One 10' gutter cost us 800.00 plus 300.00 for a change order. If that isn't bad enough, we were scheduled for install a few times and nobody showed up. We were told by the scheduler on our final attempt (as we were ready to walk) we would receive a discount yet, the final bill and lady in the office keeps insisting we owe the amount we were told would be discounted. All around failure, this business lacks integrity from start to finish. I do not recommend. read more

I called 2 times this past week to make sure they were opened Saturday to look at their impact window selection for our new house. I was told both times by 2 different employees they absolutely would be there Saturday by 8:30. Got there at 8:45 am to be sure and waited and called 10 times and left at 9:30 am as they weren't open. Called numerous times after we left as we were in the area but no answer. Won't be doing business here as the other reviews seems poor and this type communication from the start has me going elsewhere. Currently on our second built lanai by JENSEN BEACH ALUMINUM after having one of what they said was there "BEST GUYS" come out to look at it . He said "It wouldn't even pass inspection. We had a lot of faith in the new guy sent to build our lanai for the SECOND time, that JENSEN BEACH ALUMINUM sent to do the job. The "BEST GUY" Unfortunately, we are still in the process of having it fixed ... again! The most dishonest and unprofessional business that I have dealt with in a very long time. I've been a custom home builder for 30 years, so that's saying something. I strongly encourage anyone to think long and hard before doing business with this company. I only had dealings with the General Manager, the counter salesman and an installer, but none of them demonstrated an ounce of integrity or product knowledge. They were given multiple attempts to fix their product, but they just kept making it worse until they gave up. I guess sliding screen doors are just too complex for their skillset and the manager simply refused to even discuss or investigate the issues. Horrible product! Terrible customer service! While I appreciate Jennifer correcting one of the names (should have been Jessica, not Jennifer, an error I made) , there is still no reason provided as to the absent communication. If you can't get an answer back to a customer in two weeks, even to explain the real problem, then there is a problem in management. Note that the Sales manager blamed their ISP (Comcast) and Jennifer in her reply pinned the problem on their window supplier, PGT; while totally ignoring the lack of communication. I was told they would install windows at my house by Thanksgiving so I gave them a check 9/9/2019 I am told today after so much run around and so many promises that they were ordered and they would be in and done as quickly as possible that the windows were never ordered!!!! I have used JB Aluminum for 2 big jobs, one impact glass for a condo I bought, now accordion shutters for a house. The work was good, the workers are great, but............... First I was told my new shutters would be lined up as close as possible to my "old" ones. My house was recently painted, so it was important to me that I didn't have to repaint. I was also told the screw holes from the old shutters would be caulked to prevent water intrusion. The shutters in some spots were off by an inch!! I would have paid the extra inch to make my life easier, but they just shrugged and said, we said we'd "try". The holes weren't filled in either leaving holes and exposed old paint showing. We came to an agreement about painting and a worker was supposed to come out and caulk the holes. In the mean time, I had a very small balance of $1700 to pay after inspection. They hounded me, calling, emailing several times to get payment, literally the same day they adjusted my bill. They seemed desperate for small amount due. I gave them my credit card # and after taking it, Maria said "you know they'll charge you, right"? I said okay hesitantly, then Maria said, if you change your mind, let me know. I emailed as soon as I got the invoice to say I'd send a check instead. Well, she just happened to be "busy" and didn't see my email until the following day and then told me, it's too late, I can't reverse the charge! So they billed ME $60 for their convenience of being paid immediately. This was a $17,000.00 job and they couldn't absorb $60? I spoke to the manager who was a real jerk and told him I would dispute the charge and send a check, at which time he threatened to sue me. I can not recommend this company based on this moronic attitude of their manager. It's really a shame because I had great working relationship with the salesman, John, and his crew. We are now over a month out and still have holes in my stucco. read more

I hired this company to install acrylic windows & screens on my porch. They had to return as one screen had tiny holes. The windows were marked so called and was told they don't clean windows after installation. I was not given instructions on how to to care for the windows until I called. I was told not to use Windex, only Dawn, or I could ruin them. Had I not called, I wouldn't have known that & used glass cleaner. I was unable to remove most smudges on the windows. There is a stripe down the window of a door. My nephew said it was a scratch, so I'll have to call again. Called. No response My neighbor & plumber stopped in to see them and couldn't believe they left the windows so dirty. His words, "I'll remember not to use them." Two days later & no return call. Eventually they replaced the window with the crack after informing me the window had to be ordered. Today, shut a window & a pane fell off. Very shoddy work. They have the worse customer service ever. They don't communicate with status updates. The pane fell off again. We had torrential rain a couple months ago. Learned one window was not set in correctly and leaked. I have been waiting for months and they still have not come to correct the problem. I will give them one more call and if the window isn't fixed, I'm contacting the BBB. Avoid this company! read more

We spent 20K for accordion shutters, which were installed by 3 stoners. Called the company to request tracks be reinstalled, correctly. I was told they do not have a service department by "Jason" who sounded like a he needed a better education. I was told "they only do new installs". SOMEONE NEEDS TO CLEARLY EXPLAIN TO THE OWNER(S) of JBA THE DEFINITION OF SERVICE. Because apparently he/she doesn't get it. We're FL natives, and in small town/community with "Games" like that, you'll soon be out of business, because all you have is SERVICE. Your a service business. I'm hopeful for anyone/everyone who reads this review, they don't buy anything at ALL from Jensen Beach Aluminum, and consequently JBA is out of business soon. Hired this company to install impact window on two condos i have on jensen beach florida, they started it off really good and got the job done! but i have a porch inclosure on the first floor for one of the unit that we sign the contract back in July 2019 and paid 50% deposit. We were given an estimated time frame for installation by Thanksgiving, December came and went NO windows and as of this date all we get are lies and excuses. I contracted with this company on May 29, 2020 to install a rolldown hurricane shutter on my rear french door. The original install date we were given was September 14th. My husband took the day off of work... No call no show... That date came and went and then they came back to remeasure?... It is now December... 7 months later and I now have a half installed non-working hurricane shutter on my door... the broken hurricane shutter was installed three weeks ago and they tried to tell us it was supposed to sound the way it did (bad bearings, you could hear this thing three blocks away). I finally, after two months of trying got in touch with the manager who tried to appease me with a 5% discount. I insisted on a 20% discount as they are definitely in breach of contract and in order to get that discount the manager wanted me to pay now and leave him a good review... I was bright enough not to do this. I received a new invoice for the 20% discount, however, no call as to when we will receive a working shutter... Run for your life! Do Not Use this company. I made a contract to have existing patio windows removed and replaced by a screen enclosure. They gave me an estimated start date of FOUR months in the future due to material shortages. I agreed to this knowing my new screen enclosure could not be installed until the HOA repaired the patio slab. So I explained this to the company and they agreed to do the removal separately from the replacement. After paying 30% deposit, I waited apprx 6 weeks with no indication of a start date for the removal. When I began calling, I got no new information, no call backs etc. Then my home went under contract to sell. The buyer was concerned about the incomplete work and the potential for a lein. I was STILL unable to get a call back, so I visited the office, cancelled the contract and asked for a refund. They immediately REFUSED my request based on several unbelievable claims. (They wanted to be compensated for the cost of running the office - where no one answers the phone or calls back - the cost of restock of materials they obviously would never have sent back if they DID order them... and the cost of a Building Permit for which no application had been made.) In my mind, they had done no work to justify keeping my deposit. I was furious. I tracked down the "Corporate Office" in Orlando, threatened small claims court, exchanged repeated phone calls, emails and text messages only to retrieve 50% of my original deposit. My advice: if you want to deal with a responsible, professional service, call someone else. read more

We had a very complicated situation due to a renovation at a condo. The HOA had certain requirements which were very difficult to deal with, and I couldn't get a straight answer from anybody at the HOA regarding my install. John and the rest of the crew at Jensen Beach aluminum, couldn't have been more patient. John made numerous trips to the condo to answer questions and provide them with everything they asked for. Finally after 7 months the job was done and looks gorgeous! I'm not looking forward to a hurricane, but I'm confident our unit is now properly protected thanks to JB Aluminum. read more

I was very interested in adding sunroom to my house. Contacted Jensen Beach Aluminum via online inquiry for free estimate. Received phone call from lady next day saying that salesman will contact me shortly. Since I live in Rockledge, FL(45 min drive to Stuart), I asked is Rockledge in their service area. She said yes and told me the name of salesman which was in charged over that area. After few days received phone call from salesman(forgot his name) to talk about details. He asked many detailed questions about project and I couldn't answer all of them since I wasn't in construction business. I told him the best way would be to come over and do estimate. I felt he wasn't happy about driving distance and said he would call me back with his availability. He never called me back again. They lost 20K-30K worth of business just because salesman was lazy to drive in his service area. Stay away, this company is just waist of time. read more

Save your time and money and go with another company! Jensen Beach Aluminum is completely unprofessional. We signed our contract with this company beginning March 2017 to have a screened in patio enclosure w/ a bird cage and were told the project would be done in 6-8 weeks. At week eight no call no show so we called and nothing had been done w/ our order or the engineering permits that took almost another four weeks to get. We kept calling and we're told the installer wasn't in and they couldn't give us a time frame as to when the project would be started. Not one phone call has ever been returned, if we want a status of whats going on we've had to contact this company. Finally now five months later the installer just shows up ready to install, but the roof was ordered in the wrong color (how does that happen when the color of the roof is specified in the contract), we're told it would take another 3 days to show up and that was 2 weeks ago, we've called and the roof is still not in (its not a special color or special roof so we're not sure why its taking so long to come in, or why we have to keep calling to find out whats going on); the entire project is on another stand still. This company will not call you back, this company has no idea what customer service is. Jensen Beach Aluminum only has one installer for the patio enclosures and he makes his own hours, he comes and goes as he pleases regardless of the job so if you don't mind paying you're money for a job that's worked on in spurts or disrupts your life use this company. If you mind this kind of cluster, then find another company even if you're paying more you'll get what you pay for with this horrible company which isn't actually family owned anymore as advertised, but is now a corporate company and only wants money and could care less about you or the project. read more
