Went there 6 months ago and found a very long hair in my sandwich which they gave me a gift card for but I would not go back if not for the gift card as this place is expensive for what you get(or don't get). The sandwiches are on an inflated bun with very little toppings. The side salad is just lettuce, dressing and few croutons. Won't be returning. read more

This is how traveling musicians are treated at O'Dunkens in Two Falls. I came out last night knowing I'm going to see Bobcat One Man Band, on tour from NY. He put on a killer show and I was enjoying every minute of it. About 5 songs in, the waitress told him he had to pack up and leave because he said something to offend someone. They would not tell him what he said or who he offended, and told him to pack up and go. He had a $200 guarantee that they did not pay. I would never recommend a place like this. You can get your food anywhere, drinks anywhere, I'm sure the service is fine, but the way they treat traveling musicians is shameful. read more

We just finished having a great Pizza here. However it was hard to decide, the menus is extensive. We stopped in to have a beer & get directions to Shoshone Falls & Twin Falls. The bartender Heather was the Best. So we went back after the Falls to eat. Food and service was great!! If we are ever here again we will definitely be back! One waitress, super sweet...the other, looked annoyed we walked in and she had to serve us. We didn't eat, just came for drinks and to watch a game. I must say, we were very excited to get a bill of 19 dollars for 5 pints of good beer (2 Newcastles, 2 Blue moons and 1 Hoptoberfest). That was just regular price, no happy hour. VERY reasonable. Went to O'Dunken's on a Friday for lunch. We sat outside so my nieces could play Pokemon with two nearby hot spots they could spin from the table. The waitress came outside and got our drink orders. It took a while to get them, and she came out, apologized and said they were short handed that day as one of the cooks had to go to the hospital. Understandable why things may be a little chaotic. Fortunately, we were not in a hurry so time was not a factor for us. We ordered our food and again it took a little time to come in but it was well worth the wait. The combination sandwiches were very good. I had a turkey/cranberry sandwich that had crispy sprouts and delicious cream cheese, too. The baked fries are delectable. Nothing left on any plates. My lunch companions all enjoyed their food and we each had a couple of drinks. We didn't complain about anything and tried to let the waitress know we were okay, but when she brought out the bill, she said the drinks were on them. It's not often you see customer service like this! I highly recommend this place for the service alone, but coupled with the good beer selection, the really good food, and Pokemon everywhere, this is definitely the place to be. While in town visiting from Seattle, I stopped in here with local family for a few pints and conversation. All in all, I was happy with the experience - there's a good selection of beers (both regional and national) in a comfortable atmosphere. Our server was kind, though not as knowledgeable of the beer selections as I'd have thought he should be. That said, we enjoyed sampling many different local flavors. We ordered some hot wings (which had good flavor) and something (if I'm remembering correctly) called pork and seeds - which was a bit pricey for what you got. Today is my second visit to Twin Falls and my second time at Dunkens. It's a lively bar with a nice selection of Western craft beers, along with a number of national mass-produced brands (I had the Sockeye Dagger Falls IPA) and several internationals, especially Irish beers--all on tap. The food is quite acceptable; I had a Reuben with green salad and they were both fine. In contrast to some other reviewers, I found all the staff (three waitresses and a bartender) to be friendly and helpful. I am very impressed with this authentic Irish pub in the heart of Twin Falls! My wife and I decided to try out some local places and O Dunken's was on the top of the list. First off, beer selection was good with 18 on Draft and another 10 by the bottle. Service was great and was always with a smile. On to the food! I got the Stromboli sandwich with a side of potato salad. The sandwich had a great meat, cheese, and bread ratio. A bit oily, but that's a good sign in my book! The potato salad had a smiley face on it and was great homemade grub. The atmosphere is quirky with signs, license plates, and ads to keep the conversation going strong! If it weren't for the people that run this place, I'd definitely recommend it. The food is pretty good. They have really cheesy pizza and good sandwiches, and the best beer selection in Twin Falls (which is not saying much). BUT, I would have to say that the negatives out weigh the positives. The waitresses are bitchy, and don't check on you unless they see your beer is empty. There are ALWAYS tons of flies buzzing around the restaurant & landing on your food. It is always too hot in there. The owner and his son are usually in there. This is one of those places I find myself at frequently, not so much because I truly enjoy the food or service, but because it's a pretty low-key place to just sit around and enjoy a beer or two. The food is really pretty good, although pricey, which is never that big a surprise for a pub. However, I've enjoyed the tuna melt, the stromboli, and a few varieties of their pizzas on numerous occasions. Service...it's hard to say about service. There are a couple guys working the bar frequenly who are just great about checking on your and keeping your glass full. But if they're not there, it can be a little, well...meh. Some of the other staff are a bit cavalier about coming around to see if you'd like more drinks (of any variety). I've actually heard one staff member complain only partway under her breath about more patrons coming in at around 8:30 PM. Shouldn't be surprising considering the closing time displayed on the door is "till nobody's thirsty" (I'm not joking, it really says that). And I've also been bounced outta the place before KMVT even airs the 10 o'clock news. We're not loafers; we order beer until the place closes, and the group I visit with is typically between 4 and 7 people. You wanna bounce a group that buys anywhere between 5-7 beers an hour, I guess that's your business, but that business is bad for business. Stopped in around 4 pm on a Wednesday afternoon on our way through Twin Falls up into Montana. We were able to snag a table outside where we could sit with our dog. They have a good selection of beers in all styles. I had my old standard, a Fat Tire, then ended up switching to a seasonal IPA when I realized that I had a choice! Prices on beer were really reasonable, and $1 off during happy hour. Had the chicken caesar salad and a Brad's Pizza to share. The food was great, especially the pizza! I can agree with some other reviewers about the service-- I wasn't sure at first if the waitress was just there to take orders or if she was serving us, but she ended up getting better as the meal went on. read more
