Beautiful location for a restaurant with out door patio. We were passing through on a road trip, and the waterfalls brought us to the area, but we were thrilled to find this lunch spot to relax a bit. We were traveling with 3 well behaved dogs, and the staff were overjoyed to have us dining there, they brought each dog a special dog treat and water, and really loved their visit. I have a hard time passing up a Prime Rib dip, and this was no exception. Great flavors with the onions, sauce and arugula. This is always a favorite, very filling, extremely delicious. The views were amazing, the staff very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere very casual and laid back. A great find! read more

The views from the patio and parking lot of the canyon are spectacular. Missed the HH, which friends tell me is great, but noticed the bar food menu is all fried except for Gouda Mac and Cheese. Our group sat inside at two tables. Ordered two trays of nachos, one with chicken and one with beef. Pretty tasty. Prices on the menu a little higher than my favorite, Elevation 486. Wanted to try a trout entree or salmon, both were served blackened. A side note, Blackened Red Fish became popular in 1980, it was invented by Louisiana Chef Paul Prudhomme. Opted for a burger, six ounces, a little dry. Added a Wedge salad, another classic from years back. This version had crispy bacon bits, roasted bruschetta tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, blue cheese crumbles and dressing. My friend tried the Shrimp Alfredo, which he liked very much. We arrived at 6 pm, the orders of entree took a while, table check said 8:05 pm. Service was slow. Food came out a little at a time, some were finished before others had started. read more

Dined 08/22/26 We have been coming to Redhawk at least once a month for the past two years and have experienced good service and quality food. The restaurant was busy in the bar area where we enjoy sitting, so the hostess told us we needed to be gone by 7:00 because of a reservation for that table. Okay, arrived around 5:00 so no problem departing by 7:00. Service: No bartender was working the bar, so our server was multi-tasking doing both jobs. When tables were vacated, they were not cleared of dirty glasses and dishes. We completed our salad course and the dirty plates remained until our entrees arrived. At the end of our meal the check was presented with our dirty dishes still on the table. I guess we needed to order dessert to have them removed. Food: Usually excellent and well prepared, the food was disappointing. The chicken entree looked and tasted like reheated leftovers. The chicken breast flattened into a thin dry slab was smothered in a sauce the consistency of thick pudding. Mashed potatoes were so stiff they could have been cut into cubes and stabbed with a fork. The salmon entree was down sized to a 3-4 oz portion was also overcooked and dry. The winner of the night was the broccoli florets, perfectly cooked and delicious. Why didn't we discuss the food issues with the server........she was absent until the check arrived. Come on Redhawk, we know you can do better! read more

The staff at Redhawk are very nice and accommodating for large groups. I ate here 3 times in one week and 2 of the three was good food. The wedge salad I had the evening was great. The appetizers I had the second time were okay, but their special version of an old fashioned tasted good. It was also neat with the smoker on top as they served it. The 3rd evening was an okay steak, but the loaded mashed potatoes were really good. Staff each night was very attentive and so easy to talk to. read more

Cod rather than the promised halibut on their menu/website, I could live with that if the quality was beyond the frozen stock at Walmart, especially for 30 bucks. 6oz lobster closer to 3oz and overcooked shrimp for 45 dollars. Cap it off with a cheesecake far too thick and bland for its own good held aloft only by a strawberry syrup fresh from the can. I had the pub burger a year ago, and had I chose it again, this review would be 5 stars. Shame I didn't review it then. Service was amazing, just a shame the food isn't up to the quality of the waiting staff. Beer was good 10/10. But calling this entity a gastropub makes this establishment's quality lopsided. A great bar held back by an eatery that pretends to be elevated. Lastly the view is breathtaking. I don't know if the chef/cook was having a bad night, but for the cost I will not be returning. Lovely building, good service, tasty food. BUT they took their most delicious item off the menu of soft pretzels with dips of delicious cheese and the other a specialty mustard. I liked to go there for the live music and soft pretzel, but now that the warm, soft, salty pretzel is no longer on the menu I don't want to go back. I know it sounds ridiculous, but those were the best pretzels in town and now they're gone and I am stupidly bummed. read more

We were visiting from out of town and decided to stop in for dinner. Overall, our experience was extremely poor and the food quality did not warrant the menu prices. If you're looking for meal in Twin Falls, absolutely go somewhere else. It took over 1.5 hours for us to receive our food, even though the restaurant was not very full, and our server basically abandoned us partway through service where we had to go seek them out to get our drinks refilled. When the food finally did come out, it was very bland, not well cooked, and extraordinarily disappointing. I probably wouldn't complain except that you can see in the photo attached just how overpriced and mediocre the food is here. Additionally, we also had items and drinks brought to our table multiple times that we did not order. I'll start with the restaurant itself. It's gorgeous. Warm, and inviting fireplace, lots of stone work inside, and paintings to entertain the kids while we eat. The service was good, not great. Things ran slow, and the place was empty except for a few bar patrons. The waitress did her job, but there was no real sense of enjoyment. The food was beautiful to look at, but really unappetizing for me. I ordered the chicken skillet dish and the chicken was thick and moist and not the type of meat I enjoy. My son brought me here for an early Mother's Day dinner. He wanted to sit outside and then I went well. We had a reservation and waiter mentioned. She was late to coming to our table due to a staff meeting? Also, had to repeat our appetizer order like three or four times almost to the point that she couldn't believe we ordered two appetizers for two people. We ordered the lobster and shrimp and my son ordered the tortellini with shrimp. We both got salad salads. My son tortellini came without shrimp. Food took about 45 minutes to arrive after ordered. The food wasn't cooked as requested. We asked for medium well steaks, and the were barely medium, they were so red! We've been here twice now, last December and April. First time was a five star experience, just two of us. Great atmosphere, service, etc. We had the chicken , and surf and turf. All good. This past trip, not so much. There were four of us with drinks. Happy hour early. Not sure if the waitress was new but she had a little trouble with drink orders. Again, ordered surf and turf which is a filet ( one rare, one medium) and lobster. Instead of the Filets we were served Sirloin's, and no lobster. Had to get her back. We drove up from Utah to visit Shoshone Falls and we chose this place based on its ratings and the menu. The service was really too notch; our server Diana made sure our drinks were always full, and gave us to go glasses as well. The food was delicious - I had the smoked chicken and watermelon salad and the crowd favorite at our table was the pretzel appetizer. Location couldn't be better. The restaurant has a perfect view of the canyon. We sat in the outdoor patio- which is pretty large. There is a walking path right below the patio. It was a little chilly, but staff lit up the gas fireplaces and it got cozy in no time. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Drinks were just ok, I had the Passionrita. It wasn't super strong, but it was nice and refreshing. Food was good too, we had the Mac n cheese for the kids- they have two kinds Kraft and four cheese. the Mac n cheese bites were really good. My wife and I had dinner on Saturday May '26 first and probably our last visit. We have lived in the area more than 20 years and have seen restraints come and go in the valley. We gave Canyon Crest the previous restaurant in this location a 4 rating out of 5, unfortunately we will not be giving the Red Hawk the same. Reason: My wife had the Caption's Plate (surf & surf) which she rated as good, only good. I want shrimp and lobster to be really good at $42.00. But the real killer was the salmon I couldn't finish. The views from our private balcony of the canyon, the food, and service (thank you so much Bella and Cindy) were bar none!! The restaurant has been beautifully remodeled and designed with multiple points where you can enjoy the views. It's classy enough for business dinners and casual enough for family dinners with kids. They have an event room you can reserve too. The food was phenomenal and flexible to meet dietary needs. They have a very straightforward menu but the aesthetics, flavors and portions are amazing. Drinks are great too. High ceiling decor, with art peices along the walls for sale and with a whole back wall for entry into the outdoor dining. Its idle for just about any occasion and pet friendly. TLDR: Super friendly waiter. Good cocktail "Out of the Boat". Great Mac N Cheese. This place gave a real "clubhouse" vibe, similar to one I went to in Vegas, near my Uncle's Planned Community place. It was quite spacious with super-high ceiling, a beautiful view of the canyon and bridge. The hostess was very friendly and was more than happy to give us a table near the window that we requested. Our waiter was a young guy, super friendly and talkative. He also had a good humor, and made a lot of little jokes that we chuckled at. He was a great conversationalist. I think he really deserved the fifth star. Other than our wonderful waiter, the food itself was delicious, and not too pricey. It was one of our most reasonable meals, considering that we ordered a cocktail, an app, and 2 entrees. Speaking of which, every dish was delicious! Not one bad thing or suggestion we could make. Let's start with the bruschetta. It was piled HIGH with tomatoes, had a lovely OVOO drizzle, and a generous dusting of cheese. I really liked the fact that they gave so much tomatoes. The bread could be a little bit more toasted, but that's a minor thing. Absolutely refreshing, if a little bit spicy. I loved how there's a whole section called "Mac N Cheese". I never been to Idaho, so I don't know if it's a thing here, but man, it's awesome! I LOVE MnC ever since I was a kid and I would down an entire Kraft box for a meal. Yeah, not very healthy, but delicious! So the one I ordered had a twist to it... they added Chicken to it, and used an Alfredo sauce. GENIUS! The chicken was tender, and the mac was delicious. Not as al-dente as I would have liked, but the whole thing as a whole was great. My wife ordered the Seared Salmon, with a Honey-Garlic glaze. That too was cooked very well, juicy and tender. The glaze was top-notch, adding a sweetness to it. I know you are thinking, fish and sweet? But Yeah! Look at Sweet N Sour Fish! It came with some spicy rice pilaf, which added a nice kick, if you are worried the sweetness is too one-note. I abandoned my mac, to help her finish hers. Because fish the next day is... not a good thing. Have you ever smelled fish in a microwave in the office??? We aren't much of a liquor people, but I wanted to splurge a little after the nearly 4 hour drive from SLC to here. So I got the "On the boat" I think it's called? It's basically a Pina Colada, but with strawberries added to it. It was also very good, the rum wasn't too overpowering. And it didn't taste JUST of coconut. All the flavors blended well together. Highly recommend it, if you like fruity drinks! Overall, with the wonderful view (Definitely try to get a window seat or eat outside), friendly wait staff, and delicious food... this place is a WINNER! We came here for lunch on a Wednesday around 11:30am! We sat outside, which felt like a must, to take advantage of the beautiful view. The hostess warned us that there wasn't much shade, but we said it was fine. Our server was great, he even put up an umbrella to help, which made it so much more enjoyable. He was very attentive. Great service. My husband had a couple beers and I tried the strawberry basil drink and the mint falls, both were good and refreshing. While visiting Twin Falls simply to visit Shoshone and Perrine Coulee Falls, we needed a spot for lunch before heading back to Boise. If you want a scenic meal, this is the spot! It is perched right above the Snake River Canyon with a picturesque view of the iconic Perrine Memorial Bridge. We requested an outdoor patio table where you can hear the falls dumping water with a pleasant breeze. Reservations are accepted online on OpenTable. Do know that on Sunday's only the brunch menu is offered. We shared the Beer Cheese Nachos which was a portion plenty for two. Especially appreciated this visit when I asked a brunch question and our server let us know it's not his normal shift and did not know, love honesty.
