My husband took me here last night to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. We were promptly greeted, seated, and were pleasantly surprised to see a card with a gift for our anniversary! Wow! Our server Mari was polite, personable, friendly, and knowledgeable with the menu. We ordered steak tartare, a dozen oysters, French onion soup, Idaho trout, lobster Oscar side, dry aged ribeye, and potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! I tasted the time, craft, and passion the chef put into each dish. Seriously, it was the best dining experience I've had in a really long time! The ambiance was lovely, and I appreciate having our own booth for privacy. Ambience in the restaurant is phenomenal. Cool soothing music flowing, with comfortable seats everywhere. The customer service is exceptional. From the Hostess to the bartender from our dinner waiter to the management every step has been taken for an exceptional dinner experience. And the food speaks for itself! Gorgeous Beet salad and blue cheese wedge we're out of this world everything is farm to table here! Two Angus fillets with cream spinach and beef tallow french fries, exceptional and a beautiful red Cabernet to wash it down! Was one of the best meals we've had since we've lived in Twin falls county. I posted a a review a month maybe six weeks ago; service was absolutely fabulous........ six weeks ago !!!! I didn't look at the bill at all, tonight after going to happy hour I looked at the bill. ...... ordered martinis, and was charged $3.50 as a line item for a martini on top of the $14 for the vodka and $.50 for the onion, my date was charged the same but was charged an extra $3.50 for the blue cheese olives....... Olives are relatively inexpensive and usually come with the cost of a martini. Not to mention you're already charging me an extra $3.50 for the martini on top of the vodka!!!! Chopin vodka is $24 a bottle retail. I'm relatively confident the turf club gets it for less. How much are you going to nickel and dime me for a cocktail? I will not return, I can go to Texas roadhouse on Pole Line Road and get a better value for my dollar then an $18 drink, roasted oysters on the menu are $20, I was charged 27 . first half dozen oysters were absolutely fabulous, ordered a second only to be completely disappointed by substandard, even the waitress said oh these are from Albertsons, she took them back and credited us and brought back the better selection . it's been a month and thought it was about time I write this review. A Friday night. I brought my wife and daughter to check out this fine dining experience. Well, I've been around this globe and at late 50's, have a very good idea what fine dining looks like. Let me give you a fair over view. Clean, good lighting and reservations were a good idea. The food was a bit hyped, supposedly a Chef prepares (or came up with meals). First off, this was obviously not prepared by a Chef. Trust me, over SousVide'd beef gets grainy in the middle. Both $64 filet's were over cooked. The daughter's high end (self proclaimed by older waiter profusely) steak (aged 30 days I believe) was not a $200 fantastic steak. Entree's were very nicely sized. I've been to Morton's in 3 states, The Chart house's at two and at least a dozen others in 50+ years. No other fine dining restaurant have I ever had a waiter interrupt us, say the cheesiest classless drivel for two hours, in my life. When he brought me the check, he told me, "some times in life, there comes a time when you gotta pay the piper." With the dumbest smirk I've ever seen in a ridiculous condescending tone. My wife sat there and stared at me with a bewildered look on her face till he left. We have been in Twin for four years. We are not farmers or rooted locals. So, maybe sarcasm is typical in a small simple city. But listen, this waiter couldn't read a room to save his life. I wouldn't look at him. I stared down at my plate. I never laughed and I couldn't believe the whole night went like this for two hours. The bill was somewhere near $450 and I left $150 tip. All I can tell you is the food is average for Twin Falls, the professionalism of this waiter was really poor, the food truly was overpriced, in the atmosphere is confusing. This is a bar. There is no fine dining here. This is an expensive place that looks better on the outside than it is on the inside. If I were to come back, it would be for pair of pasta, dinners, salads, and a glass of wine for about $250. And would only be for the dark quiet ambience. If I brought a family, I'd buy the burgers and stay away from the ridiculously high prices for everything else. I don't say this to dissuade you from going, God knows this place needs better restaurants, but it really really isn't worth it. Incidentally, the waiter sent me an email asking about my experience. I was far more harsh than I am here and honestly, I didn't expect any email in did I ever get one. My goal was to maybe have him reset how he communicates and inform him how lousy the steaks were prepared. After all, I'm told we're in cattle country. I promise you, this is definitely not a fine dining experience. It really seemed like they focused more on the presentation of the food, but forgot how hard it is to prepare it correctly. This place has the potential to be an amazing steakhouse. The staff was excellent -- very attentive, friendly, and on top of everything all night. Service was definitely the best part of the experience. The biggest issue was the atmosphere. The live music was extremely loud and didn't fit the vibe of what seems like it's trying to be a higher-end steakhouse. It felt more like a bar than a nice dinner spot, and it made it hard to enjoy the meal and conversation. You kind of have to decide whether you want to be a pub or a steakhouse, because trying to be both didn't work that night. We ordered four wedge salads, buffalo bites, French onion soup, steak frites, and a $70 choice ribeye. The salads were great, and the appetizers were good. The steak frites came out very undercooked and had to be sent back, but when it came back it was actually very good. Unfortunately, the ribeye was the biggest disappointment. When it came out it smelled burnt, even though it didn't look overcooked. The taste matched the smell -- very charred and unpleasant. I almost never send food back, but this was one of the worst steaks I've ever had and I couldn't eat it, especially for that price. Amazing new upscale restaurant for the area. It sounds like they'll be doing seasonal menus. Ambiance was great, dress code is a little dressy, restaurant was clean, staff was very friendly. Cody was an excellent server. All the food and drinks our party had were excellent. Everything on the menu looked great, so it was hard to pick. Menu items are served a la carte so sides are ordered separately from entrees. We ordered appetizers and entrees and they brought everything out at an excellent pace; our table never got overcrowded and the dinner was paced very well. Food arrived to our table hot and delicious. Every menu item was outstanding, beautifully prepared and excellently plated. Drinks were all well made and very good. Highly recommend for a nice dinner. To set the tone I decided to take my wife out on a date night and we've been hearing things about the "new" Turf Club since they've been open for a couple months now. With that being said when we arrived you could tell this was a newer building based on the state of the decorations and the very well done renovations. One gets the vibe you're in a 1920's speakeasy. The wait was not long at all considering it was a Friday evening. We were given the choice of "Dining Room" or the "Lounge" and after taking a peak we decided the dining room was the choice for us even though the lounge looked just as nice with couches and the sorts. I will say it was a tad dark in the dining room and if there was just a bit more light on it would've been nice so that way you could see your beautiful surroundings as well as the beautifully prepared dishes. We ended up getting two cocktails one was a "Horseshoe" something or other that my wife ordered and she really enjoyed it. I ended up going with a "Phony Negroni" and if you like bitter, this is the drink for you! As an appetizer we got the bread service (which was some bread and a nice herb spread and honestly should've been included as a "free" appetizer instead of $5 but just my opinion) and the mussels, which were served in a delicious white broth! For the main course, my wife, ordered the "Surf N' Turf" which came with three very large prawns and a NY Strip which she ordered medium rare. I ordered the "Steak Frites" with the steak medium; I also included the "Sautéed Spinach" which is not included and was an extra charge as well, but ended up being a delight to eat. It truly reminded me of southern collard greens, yum! The steaks were cooked to perfection! Hats off to the chef! The Chimchurri sauce was impeccable on my steak and my wife was unable to finish her full meal as was I! But again, in true fine dining fashion, we mentioned we wanted to take what we couldn't finish home and they took it away and packed it up for us! Wow! We ended up also getting two glasses of wine; a Resiling and a Malbec which were about $12-14 a glass. To end this review I will say it was a great date night with great food. Our server was a little odd and assumed we had been there before and kept making references to drinks and dishes like we knew what she was talking about so that was a little off putting. The lighting could've been amped up a bit to better see the beauty of the food and the architecture of the building and lastly, some food items, in my opinion should've been included with the meal and or a "free" appetizer. Do not look to go here on a cheap dine. We ended up paying around $220 for just the two of us. This for us is a once or twice a year type of dining experience. The portion sizes for an upscale restaurant are quite large which was nice but again do not expect to get away unscathed in the wallet. One of the owners actually introduced herself and we had a nice chat and I will say with confidence we will be back! We were really hoping Twin Falls would get it right this time. It's frustrating when you expect an upscale experience only to be served with mediocre drinks and food. We were really looking forward to craft cocktails but ours tasted watered down and the salad and sides were bland. When my husband asked for salt, our waiter said, "don't worry I won't tell the chef." I'm thinking, maybe you should tell the chef. It seems like they really tried to create a nice ambiance but if the drinks and food aren't any good what's the point. I can say that the steak was good. We were here from Salt Lake for a Christmas party for my husband's work. This was SO worth the drive up and back, in BAD weather, might I add. The inside was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There was a TON of seating with plenty of room to manuever and mingle. Every employee there was so kind and polite. Jasmine served us and did a great job. She was such a cute girl. Lets see if i can remeber everything on thier delicious spread...dinner was prime rib, 3(?), maybe 2 types of horseradish, fried chicken, two kinds of pasta salad, pea salad, rolls, veggie tray and green salad. Desserts were red velvet, apple pie, and a couple types of cheesecake. I had the red velvet. I loved it. I'm not a red velvet kind of person. It was good! They had an open bar. I didn't get anything, but as I stood by, the bartenders were friendly and fast and everyone around me loved their drinks. DO NOT THROW YOUR PARTY HERE!!!! I repeat do NOT throw your party here! SAVE YOUR MONEY & GO TO A PARK & COOK YOUR OWN FOOD!! The turf club had horrible customer service!! Prices were outrageous!! I do NOT recommend the turf club to anyone!! The food was UNDERCOOKED! My chicken was PINK & RAW INSIDE, AND COLD. First problem, we paid $1000 to rent the WHOLE venue to throw a party, we had 60+ people coming! When we arrived @ 4pm to start setting up, they said we can only use HALF of the venue. That wasn't even close to being sufficient for our party. Second problem, we paid for 10 different appetizers that weren't even cooked thoroughly. They had the "uncooked" teriyaki flavored chicken on a stick sitting out in the cold with no heat source to even keep it warm unlike the chicken wings that were kept in a metal container with a heat source underneath to keep it warm. The carrots were SLIMEY. And the containers were half empty like they used whatever food was left from the party before. They definitely didn't have enough food for our party and the food alone was $500 which was only worth $200 if even that, AND it was disgusting. Third problem, we arrived at 4pm & rented to venue our till 1am. We were under the impression that since they catered our party, they would have all of the leftover food in to go containers for us to take home LIKE OTHER CATERING COMPANIES, since WE PAID $500 FOR THE FOOD, IT SHOULD BE TAKEN HOME WITH US RIGHT? WRONG! @ 7pm they cleaned up all of our food & THREW OUT everything leftover without saying a word to anyone!! We went back to get seconds & everything was gone!! We addressed the problem & they told us "because a child stuck their hand in the meatball plate (instead of using tongs), everything had to be thrown out". Unbelievable. Fourth problem, we had a huge cake & there was leftovers. It wasn't a store bought cake, didn't come in a plastic container, we had this cake made professionally & it had to be professionally delivered. So we did not have anything to put the cake in to take it home. We went & asked for a to go box, the lady told me "this is a bar not a restaurant we can't give them out like that" she handed me tin foil to wrap the cake with. But yet this is a place to eat at for conferences & parties, and they can't give our to go boxes for 6 slices of cake? Wow. And the fifth problem, yup I know how long can this post be? The customer service. Absolutely dreadful. The red hair bartender with the mustache was extremely rude the whole night, not only to me & my husband but also to many of my family members. The server was adequate, yes there was a lot of people asking for a lot of things but this is her job. How did she expect to make money if she cant even do her job? I had to go to the bar to refill my coke 4 times because she was never around. But yet every time I went to the bar, there she was talking to lady (I'm assuming a dishwasher) & the rude bartender just laughing & having a great ole time. This service was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. This place was supposed to provide good service & food, and they failed at both. read more

We just had my daughter and son-in-law's reception here on the 31st for New Year's Eve. I can't say enough about our experience from beginning till end. Everyone was so helpful every step of the way. From the owner to the manager Don. They helped us plan the perfect wedding reception that fit our budget and met our expectations. Don helped us plan a beautiful reception and gave us great ideas for feeding our guests through the entire night on our budget. Everything went exactly as planned from the decorations to the food how they set up the champagne fountain, candy buffet and wedding cake area. Everything was beautiful and perfect. I can't thank our waitstaff enough either, because they really worked a long shift taking care of 200 people and they never missed a beat. They treated everyone so wonderfully and with such respect. The bartenders did an amazing job and I had so many compliments about the entire evening. The biggest compliment was about the food and how wonderful it was. When it was time to leave I asked the waitresses to please save anything that was forgotten and they assured me that it would be handled. When I came the next day to pay my bill and see if we forgot anything, they had two large boxes full of things we had forgotten. These items included someone's rented tuxedo and the most important thing my daughter's wedding bouquet that she left under her bridal table. If you are looking for a wonderful place to have a celebration definitely look into using the turf club. Our experience was so wonderful that I will use them again in the future and will recommend them to anyone.
