This time the windows were just plain old and worn. We didn't have to replace all of them but decided to do so because of the quality of the product, installation sounded organized, and the job could be completed in a reasonable time period. John did a great job explaining the details of what was going to be done. We were impressed by him because other bigger name local companies were just in and out and didn't seem to really give a damn if we chose their company or not. Armor did exactly what was expected and more John was able to increase our claim by pointing out some things that the insurance adjuster missed. Luckily our insurance USAA adjusted the claim and we were able to get out chimney completely redone and reinforced because the original contractor did poor craftsmanship. I was surprised the chimney didn't come crashing down during the strong winds we had a few months ago. We were so satisfied with the roof work that we decided to hire Armor to put up a brand new privacy fence with a beautiful stain at a more appealing price versus the big name local fence companies. Our experience with Armor was a positive experience and would recommend doing business with them. Not overly impressed so far. Scheduled install that we had boarded dogs and taken off work for got…read morederailed due to illness. Apparently there is no back up plan. When called to complain, since job was already started and everything was a huge mess,salesman Wayne said he couldn't guarantee when the job would be completed. Meanwhile, sleeping on the couch! Obviously we were upset and Wayne simply hung the phone up! Who does that? Finally talked to owner who rescheduled some things and sent a crew out. Will update when job is completed. well it didn't get any better. Crew #2 came out. At first they appeared to know what they were doing. when they had the bulk of the floor down, they said they would finish when additional material came in. When we went upstairs, we discovered both a dresser drawer broken, and wooden pieces of what had been the dresser leg. Flooring was bubbled up due to debris underneath, Flooring was coming loose and falling off of the stairs. We were not happy! I contacted an independent contractor who stated it was the worst he had seen. I don't want any of the Griggs employees back. If you break something you should tell the owner.
