I want to give 4.5 stars, but I'm erring on the side of 5 because the service was AMAZING. The only thing that bothered me was that they sent photos and the name of who would pick up our car, and then someone else showed up. That freaked me out because at that moment, I didn't have time to say no, and I thought there was some scam taking place. Luckily, it wasn't a scam. The guy showed me all of our texts and knew my name. And we got our car back, washed, on time, heated (it was negative degree weather). They texted with us and the timing was perfect. They really know what they are doing, but they should be better about communicating the driver if they want to use this photo-name feature! I will certainly use them again, especially in the winter in Chicago. Just be aware that the person they say will get your car might not be that person. read more

This is a great service and I'm sad I didn't know about it sooner. If my family and I didn't drive to a long-term outdoor parking lot by O'hare, took a shuttle bus and a tram with four pieces of luggage, three carry-on bags and a stroller, then we'd take a black car or cab to the airport. This service is way more convenient, hassle-free, and cheaper. Booking the service for the first time was painless. I booked by phone so I can ask questions along the way. Next time I'll be sure to book online. I worked with Glen with OPV and he made the booking a breeze. On the day we departed, we arrived at the O'Hare 15 minutes early, and Glenn, who was also taking our vehicle, was already waiting and spotted us coming. He unloaded our luggage which was a great help especially since we're traveling with our 2-year old. From there he confirmed our return date and let us know he'll be the one to meet us, and drove off with our car. Before our arrival, we received a text to confirm the return of our vehicle. After deplaning I simply communicated with Glenn via text. When we got our luggage, I sent another text, and when we exited the airport, our car was there waiting. First time using OPV and I had some doubts and reservations about using their services. I had thoughts of the famous Ferrari scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off... I was wrong. So wrong. I've used the park and ride places a few times (blue sky who are very good) --- I got frustrated at the long walk to the shuttle area with lots of bags and a baby in tow. Also the shuttles are dangerous with kids as they don't have car seats. I found OPV after some googling. These guys are legit. So friendly and super easy. You basically drive to their location, pick up the valet, you drive to departures and they drive your car off. After we landed we had about a 1 min (not joking) wait for our car which was delivered outside baggage claim. I don't understand how those shuttle services stay in business. I'm about to rebook them for my next trip in a month. read more

Communication was excellent and I felt the car was safe while we were in vacation. Not the cheapest but certainly the best Only dropped one star due to the high cost. To be clear: This is an undiscovered gem for parking. I wish I had know about them sooner! You drive to their place, about 2 miles from ORD, their driver will accompany you to drop you off at the terminal, unload your bags and he will drive your car away.. Upon your return, he is waiting for you at the Baggage claim, in the outer loop. You text him your location door number.. They are in constant touch with you, via text.. you text them when you land.. then after you pick up your luggage.. They come right over.. Saves you a lot of hassle of walking with your luggage to the shuttle area etc.. I used their service again, this week! Wonderful service. They are very prompt, via text messaging.. The driver was waiting for me when I went to pick him up! They send reminders. They keep track if your flight is delayed! Its about $40 more (for drop off + pick up) than normal but for me, it is simply awesome service! I like Preflight parking also, for self parking but the walk to their shuttle is very long at ORD. read more

Such a great service at half the price (or less) than black car service. Because you're valeting, the arrival time to the airport is exactly the same as a typical drop off. The service works through texting and in my experience has been perfect. Including early and/or late arrivals. As long as you communicate with them, you're golden. I haven't tried any of their add-on services like wash/detail, but I will definitely give those a whirl this summer. read more

A lifesaver. I usually try not to fly in and out of O"Hare. This week I didn't have a choice. What normally takes me 2 hours to drive to O'Hare took almost 4 hours. The entry and exit drives were like a parking lot. The folks at O'Hare Personal Valet were in constant contact by phone and text. Based on reviews on Yelp, decided to give O'hare Personal Valet a try. Overall, this was A fantastic service and a great way to get in and out of O'hare with your personal vehicle. Arrived at O'hare 15 minutes later than planned. I accidentally took a wrong turn and ended up in the departure area instead of arrivals. I called Glen who was waiting for me and he quickly came down from the arrival area to meet me at departures to pick up my car at my airline's location. Was on my way to my flight with plenty of time to spare. On my return, I texted Glen when I arrived. I waited no more than 2 minutes at the departure location and he pulled up with my car and I was on my way home. Easy, efficient and a great value for the price. This was our first time using O'Hare Personal Valet Service on March 5-12th, and I just wanted to give a "HUGE THANK YOU" to Glenn, your service was OUTSTANDING!! Let me just say that my husband was very nervous handing over his keys to a stranger but Glenn assured us in many ways that his business is legitimate and he answered any and all questions every time I would call. It was very easy to reserve and pay online. The day before our trip we received an email on where to go to meet him. It was easy to pull up to our terminal and have him promptly meet and greet us before he took our vehicle for the week. Coming back, we received another email the day before we were to travel home. It gave us exact directions on what to do when we would arrive back through the international terminal. Afterwards our vehicle was there in minutes. Flawless service. The price is very reasonable in comparison to self park services and what you get far exceeds the difference in price - particularly for us, a family who drives hours to ORD. When we reserved we got an email telling us who would be meeting us, as well as their mobile #. We were early so texted him and he was there at the departures curb. No lugging our bags and stroller off and then onto a shuttle or even through the parking ramp. We had an emergency change of travel plans so we notified them of an earlier arrival and the car was waiting there, warmed up, at the baggage claim. We then received an email informing us of a partial refund due to arriving early! To be honest I was not there on arrival as my wife and the kids went back separately - but that was the beauty of the service. To wrangle 3 small kids and luggage onto a parking shuttle adds a good hour and a lot of stress/hassle doing it alone. Difference in price is really small to have your car warmed up at the curb and ready to load up & drive home. Will absolutely use them again if we fly out of ORD. read more

Worth every penny! They send emails with easy to follow instructions, they send texts reminding you what to do and when they are expecting you, then when you arrive they ask if you will be waiting for bags at baggage claim and ask what door we are exiting from...when we told them what door we were exiting at baggage claim (mind you this is just minutes after we have texted saying we are off the plane), they tell us what lane they will arrive at (there are several sets of lanes with standing areas in-between each) and are there within 2 minutes as promised! He helps load the trunk and bids us a friendly farewell and we are off on our drive home!!! Wonderful! SMOOTH AS SILK and SUPER FAST! I actually had a less than positive valet experience but am still giving them a top rating for customer service and going above and beyond in remedying the situation. I was referred to Ohare Personal Valet by Plumwise. It took me a couple months before I thought to use them but I fly out of Ohare about once per month and I'm often leaving from home which means I'm driving out to Ohare and parking or maybe using Uber. So to have someone meet you there and then pick you up when you get back in your own car it was pretty cool to say the least. I paid extra for the car detail and cleaning and it exceeded my expectations. The other thing that I appreciate is that nearly all of my reservations (I've booked with them 3 times now) have been the day of or the day before and they were able to accommodate me. If I were to make any suggestions or comments for improvement, there was one time where I got charged for a car wash during a day that is also rained. It was only 10 and I didn't care to bring it up but I noticed the charge on my receipt. Not sure if they have plans for expanding to Midway Airport but that would have been nice for my flight next week. read more

I called OPV to set up drop off and pick up at O'hare. We booked about a week in advance. It was the absolute most affordable option for parking and the thought of not having to move a car seat was very appealing to me. When we got to the airport, we text messaged Glenn. He was a few minutes behind, we waited for almost 10 minutes. He was extremely apologetic (also he washed our car for free to make it right. That was not necessary but so appreciated! ). Anyway, coming home was easy peasy. We had our lugguage and text Glenn and he gave us a two minute ETA. We walked out and there he was. He helped with our lugguage and thanked us for our business. The car was nice and warm (freezing in Chicago in January). Bottom line is we will continue to use OPV and I have been telling my friends about nonstop because I am so impressed! O'Hare Personal Valet/Glenn is absolutely awesome!!! We used his services May 23 and 26 (2014). He confirmed my reservation well in advance on May 22 and his communication for the drop off on May 23 was also awesome. We ended up getting to the airport in advance of the scheduled time and Glenn was able to meet us earlier than scheduled at our terminal. He texted me the morning of May 23 confirming the meeting time again! Great service! You also get his picture with your reservation email so that you'll know who to look for. I used this over spring break based on the reviews. It was awesome! My driver met us at 4 am so we could get to an early flight on a Friday morning. When we returned, we had a long day of travel with a stopover in Newark and it was amazing not to have to wait for a shuttle once we got our luggage. We used O'Hare Personal Valet for the first time taking a family vacation with our 18-month old for a weeklong trip the beach. It could not have been easier! Pickup took about 30 seconds (at 4 a.m.! in the cold!) on both ends. On the way back, it was -15 degrees and we didn't have our winter coats so we were SO THANKFUL that all we had to do is pick up our bags and walk out the door to a warm car. My family and I were originally supposed to fly from Lansing to O'hare, but the first flight was delayed so we drove to O'hare instead in order to make our connection. On the way (3 hr drive), we started worrying about parking and lugging 4 suitcases plus a nine and four year old in a stroller across parking lots and busses etc. So I started the search for a valet service. The reviews were so good for OPV that we thought it would be a good match. Because I was trying to reserve within 8 hours, the website said to text a number for availability. I got a quick response and was able to make the reservation. We also were able to get the truck detailed while we were on vacation; something we had been planning but couldn't find the time. We received a picture of the gentleman we were to meet and his number. He texted us and we updated him on our arrival. We met him just outside the check-in desks and he helped us unload all of our bags. The day before our return flight I received and email with return instructions. It all worked like a charm. Our truck looked brand new, and he helped us load our bags back into it. The whole process made the stress of delays, parking, kids, baggage etc all bearable. There really is no better deal or service for parking at O'Hare. You are dealing with a professional who meets you curbside, allowing you to walk right in to the check in area. When you return, the valet meets you right at the curb again. My time is valuable and I save a ton with this service. I've also had them detail my car and it came back spotless! I used this service for the first time this week and was very happy with the service. Everything was exactly as advertised and extremely easy. We pulled up ahead of schedule and our valet Erhan was waiting outside for us. The drive to the airport took all of 5 minutes and thanks to TSA pre-check we were past security in less than 15 minutes from the time we pulled up at O'Hare Personal Valet. Our flight home was delayed and then cancelled due to the snowstorm. They were communicative with me throughout (via text) and as of this writing I was not charged for the extra night of parking. When we arrived today Ehran was on top of the schedule and texted even before the plane landed. We didn't check a bag and he was pulling up outside about the same time we got to the door. I also had my car detailed inside and out while we were away and I was very pleased with that service as well. In short, I found the service to be easy to use and consistent with the advertisements and other reviews I read. I highly recommend O'Hare Personal Valet. read more
