Called to setup oil change while traveling through area. They quoted me a price and I went in. When I arrived they asked what I wanted done. I told them again, I only want the oil changed nothing else. They asked if I purchased the tires from Ford and I said no. When I finished the price was higher than quoted and when I asked why I was told it was tax and disposal charges. I suppose they didn't know these were "needed" when I was quoted. They also rotated my tires which I did not want done. Perhaps Ford service people are not able to follow specific instruction, such as "CHANGE OIL ONLY". I travel through this area a few times a year but I know i'll not go close to this dealership again. First class, ripoffs. I suppose I shouldn't have told them I was from out of town but I will not do that again . . . because I will not be back. read more

O'MEAR FORD SERVICE DEPARMENT: Do Not Go Here! The service department could careless about there customers. I purchased tires from them in Oct. 2014 they have 13,000 miles on them and they are toast! This was discovered when I had a nail in my side wall. They offered to replace that tire but I would have to purchase a new rear tire and pay for alignment $300 and the fronts should get me through the winter or next oil change. I expressed that I felt this was unfair they are 50,000 mile tires. I had researched these tires and was told by another Ford Dealer that they were JUNK not to put them back on. BRANDON in the service department told me to come get my Damn Truck. I said is this really how you treat your customers, he said yes "I guess so." The sales department is bad not sure how they do it to stay in business. I always like the service department till today. Our car went in for an oil leak and oil change. When I went back to pick up the car the language from one of the service reps well I will just say he was upset and I am sure YELP will delete if I wrote it here. He was upset that another employee gave wrong information. Another service rep was telling him she was new and learning. The angry REP just went off about how she needs to learn her F*&^$ job and just went on and on in front of other customers. Hope he does not treat customers like that. It was bad. read more

DO NOT BUY from O'Meara ford, I purchased a car this summer and went to go put winter tires and get an alignment and I was told there is frame damage. And they wouldn't even touch the car after that. When I went to the dealership all the Manager basically pushed it off on everyone else "car fax" and enterprise where they purchased the car from long story short they screwed me for 25k. I don't expect that buying a car would be a pleasant experience, but the one I have had on Sept. 21, 2019 at O'Meara Ford Center at Northglenn, CO, was the worst. I found a used car on Carfax.com listed by O'Meara Ford, that I liked, and called about the price. I was sent photos and quoted the price. On a weekend, I drove my family 120 miles to the scheduled appointment at O'Meara Ford with an intent to buy that car. It turns out that the sales person who sent me the photos and quoted the price, Frasier, was unavailable. Why make an appointment several days in advance, if you cannot keep it? The car have had several problems (large chip on a windshield, unremovable stains on the seats) that Frasier conveniently neglected to mention or to photograph. Another salesperson was assigned to us. He started negotiating the price that was almost $ 8 K (!) higher than the the quote refusing to believe the quote. When I was walking away, a manager, Mark, "came to the rescue". He tried to negotiate a price that was higher than the quote that I received, while ignoring the newly discovered problems. I have never seen THIS MUCH of deception, even at car dealerships. Avoid this place if you can! read more

First the car we bought had so many problems we had to take it back for them to fix, which in turn took them about a month to do so. Customer service is the lowest priority for O'Meara Ford. I own 2 Ford vehicles and this is the closest dealership. The service department has little to no idea what they are doing. I have shown them in their documentation where it clearly states that an item is covered under the warranty. Once the vehicle is checked in, communication completely stops. A 2 hour service saw my vehicle in their shop for 2 days without any explanation from O'Meara. After calling them, the car still wasn't done. We picked it up for use over the weekend and brought it back in for another 2 hours to be completed. The only time management gets involved is when I completed their survey. The sales department is just as bad. We went to O'Meara knowing exactly what we wanted and what we would pay for it. The first salesman wasted our time for about 4 hours. After he told me that I needed to do my research I told him I needed another salesman. Total time at the dealership for the purchase was 9 hours. Taking delivery of the vehicle was another hour. If you are looking for frustration, this is the dealership for you. If you value you time and happiness, go somewhere else. read more

You've got the high pressure salesman, with the bait and switch, and the sales management that can offer you one price and trade in value one day and completely change and deny everything the next. A finance department that can always "work the numbers", you'll never know what your gonna pay. And up to the final straw for me, 8 years later, I'm still being harassed by these idiots; they've sold my info to every solicitation company known. It's a never ending river of phone calls about how I need whatever they are selling, even though I'm on the do not call registry, and when I ask them why they are calling, they say " your dealership thought you'd be interested in this". I took my Ford Taurus into to have the transmission serviced. Their service writer attempted to upsell me (by claiming that the regular service wouldn't drain the torque converter). When he found out that I was having some performance problems, he claimed that the transmission service could not possibly fix my problem. I immediately took my car to Sil Terhar Ford in Broomfield. Their service writer cheerfully set me up with the service I wanted. When I drove the car away, as soon as I put the car into "drive", it was abundantly and immediately obvious that the service did the trick. The transmission worked perfectly for as long as I owned the car. read more

I made an appointment for a repair that was supposed to only take a couple of hours. For two days my car sat and didn't get looked at. I received no communication about the status of my repair. When I called, my service advisor was not at all concerned that my appointment had been completely ignored and couldn't give me any estimate of when my car would be done. I contacted the dealership about this issue through the form on their website to give them a chance to explain or make it right. They never reached out to me. Definitely don't buy a service plan or extended warranty from these guys. It's nearly impossible to get service. read more

I recently bought an EcoSport here and the experience was awesome! This was my first time buying from a dealership and I felt a bit nervous at first but when I met Kyle Simpson I immediately knew I was in great hands. Kyle accompanied me on a test drive and was very knowledgeable and personable. I let him know I needed more time to make a decision and he did not put any pressure on me whatsoever to make the sale that day. I wound up coming back for a second test drive the following week and again Kyle was patient and gave me all the information I requested as I was making my decision of how to finance. When I was ready to purchase the vehicle Kyle was there every step of the way to support me through what could have been a stressful situation. All in all I am thrilled with my new vehicle and the overall car buying experience because of Kyle. The dealership also has an awesome fish tank and a great deli inside which are very nice touches! read more

Been almost a year and the tranny is scary, I am afraid to drive the thing and that's just the car. But these jerks seem to think that I am a nobody without my husband, refuse to speak to me after all, it's MY CAR, I pay the bills, etc, but they don't deal with women... What a joke. Man, I'm not sure my review is adding anything that the others are not, but it's worth noting. We first had our Ford Edge serviced at O'Meara and had a great experience. Our backup camera stopped working and the service department replaced the camera quickly and it was covered under our warranty. After that first experience, it was all downhill. When shopping for a new car to lease, we went to O'Meara first. I wasn't super concerned with specifics, but wanted to get into something around $300/month. For an hour and a half, a salesman and a manager tried to talk me into every car on the lot. I was upfront and clear about just wanted to get into something inexpensive in a two year lease. I let them know that I had the Ford Employee A-Plan and tier 1 credit. They hounded me for over an hour about running my credit. I know my credit is good. I check it on a weekly basis. They would not let me even test drive a car without a credit check. They would not even give me ballpark pricing on leases. We continued to go to the service department for service on our Edge. The experiences got worse and worse. They had the car for two days when it was in for a headlamp adjustment and oil change. They kept the car for another two days after "forgetting we had checked it in" during the service appointment. The car literally sat on their lot for two days. No service was done. When my wife called to check the status, they had lost the car and took two hours to find it and call us back. It was 7pm the following day when we finally got our (unserviced) car back. We had the extended bumper to bumper warranty on the car up until nearly 100,000 miles. It's been in three times for the same issue (headlights will never point higher than 4-5 feet off the ground). They finally just told me to replace both headlights at the cost of $1250. Apparently headlights require an additional warranty to be covered, so we we're out of luck on those. Aside from Lauren (thanks for the quick oil changes and friendly service!!!), the agents that handle the service department are some of the most rude, unfriendly, and absolutely unhelpful people that I've ever encountered. To top it all off, the woman that takes payment at the end of service (she sits in the gift shop area) completely lacks tact and any kind of customer service skills. Each time we visit, I'm so dumbfounded that the service area is run so terribly and that no one at the dealership seems to mind or care. Unfortunately for them, it's blatantly apparent to most of their customers. Look at all of these awful reviews just on yelp. I'm planning on buying a Mustang this year and O'Meara Ford will be the last place on the planet that gets my business. read more

If you don't plan on being open on a certain day, you might want to make sure your online scheduling system reflects that. Made an appointment online, drive to the service center and taped to the door is a sign that says the place is closed. Then 3 hours after my scheduled appointment I get an email that says I missed my appointment. What a disappointment this was. read more

2nd and last time working with this joke of a service center. 1st time I took my car in for a mandatory recall. The service department took many extra days to complete the work. The rental car I was given was bare minimum with no technology. The vehicle still used a jumbo key to start it. 2nd time I scheduled a service appointment. Called in to assure the time frame of diagnostic work because I wanted to wait for my car. Arrived at service department and they informed me everyone was at lunch! They said it will take 2 hrs instead of 1hr. I informed guy that I called to check the time it would take so I could wait in the lobby. His solution was to go shopping across the street & bring my car back in 1hr or to wait the additional hour. Why would Ford schedule appointments during lunch hour if they know no one is there to work on vehicles? Worst customer service ever and I ended up canceling my appointment. read more

They tried their very best to get me to pay $26,000 for a car that KBB listed as worth $13,000 in perfect condition. BUYER BEWARE....THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT ON YOUR SIDE. And from my own salesman's mouth, it happens all the time there. He told me that most people with derogatory credit will sign almost any contract just to secure an auto loan. Worked with Elton for the sale and Tom and Mike for financing and couldn't have been happier with the legwork they did. We had some snags come up in financing due to us moving and CapitalOne financing being a pain to deal with. These guys worked their butts off to make sure the deal went through and even got us a better rate than we had originally with CapitalOne which we thought couldn't be beat. I highly encourage you to look elsewhere as you will not be pleased by the customer care (or the lack of it rather) and by their lying ways. The people we worked with know what they are doing to cover themselves and have no care about the buyer. This will be a long review, but I think it is time to spread some truth about this place. So folks grab popcorn and a drink because I have a lot to spill about my DISSATISFACTION with O'meara Ford. Back in September 2018 I went into O'meara with a co-buyer to look at trucks. My budget was around $500-$600 and was willing to go $100 more after that. When I got there, I called the a sales person, Freddie M., however, he said he was in Boulder and that he would be out to help us in a few minutes. We waited for about an hour, until finally we decided to get helped by another sales person. The sales person, Blake, helped us out. He was honest with us and worked with us to find a car that we wanted. When it came to the negotiations it got very strange. Blake's manager came into the negotiations because Blake was still being "trained". The offer came in higher than we wanted, so the manager tried to work with us to bring it down ( I'll give them props here). But this took 5 hours. Several times, we told the manager, "you know what we will come back another time.", but he insisted and the sale felt very pushed upon us; the deal at the end was around $700. However, around 10 days later we were called back and the claim was that we needed to sign paperwork, which they said, "It's something about the offer". I go back down there to find, apparently, my initial offer was being rejected, but they found another bank willing to work however my payment went up to almost $1000 a month. I did not want to agree, but after some sweet talk I was convinced that I could do $1000. Okay, so I was fooled into buying the F150, but I liked the F150. My issue was with the service of feeling pressured by the manager into making the buy and then being tricked into a different contract. As a first time buyer I figured this was part of the experience and I was dumb to trust these people. We return to O'meara in April 2019, initially looking to buy a Ranger. This time I was not going to co-sign, but rather my sister was. The sales person Freddie M, runs her credit and comes back with the fat lie that her credit is 300, so they cannot sell her the Ranger, mind you we do not know this is a lie at the time. But they do offer a 2018 Nissan Frontier for a low monthly payment, which is great for my sister. Again they walk out of there with the vehicle thinking everything was good. Guess what? 10 days later they call her and say they need her to go back and sign some paper work. Our thoughts, "oh no their doing it again!". We go back there and sure enough another sales person, Luis, (the same bearer of bad news from the previous experience) is sent by the manager to tells us that the bank rejected the initial arrangement and we have to go with another bank that is willing to work with us but turns out being a higher monthly pay. My sister says, in that case, I am not interested in keeping the vehicle and I won't sign anything. Luis says okay, let me go see about this. However, when someone does come back it's not Luis its some other guy, which I now assume was the manager, as he never introduced himself and he began shaking hands with everyone saying, " I apologize. We'll take care of this. I will talk to the bank and make your initial offer work." In the end he offered us free gas for the inconvenience and somehow made the initial deal work with the supposed bank that wanted to reject, but we just wanted to return the vehicle as we can no longer trust this place to help us! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all, if you end up there just be aware of these dirty and dishonest tricks! Especially do not work with Freddie, he is a liar! read more

I service my Ford Escape at O'meara and I'm impressed with the friendly service staff. No one ever jacks with the settings on my seat so when I get back in my car I don't have to spend time rearranging anything. There is never any pressure or attitude when I decline an added service they are recommending. They tell me the prices straight up and it's never a surprise when I go to pay for the services done. While waiting one day for my car to be finished, I was talking to one of the dealers about the new Escapes. He was very informative and answered all my questions without making me feel like I was wasting his time. He knew I was just waiting for my car and I was not in the market for a new one. I'm sad to see all the negative reviews on here, I personally haven't had that experience at O'meara. read more

I wish I had read these reviews before we had our car towed to them. Our car died on a Sunday. Monday we heard nothing, so Tuesday we tried to contact them. We called 5 times were transferred to voicemail and left 5 messages. No response. I called back asking to speak to a manager and was asked if I wanted to leave a message because he wasn't at his desk. SHOCKING!! We still don't know when our car will be looked at. If we could drive it, I would go get it and take it somewhere else where they care about their customers. This is the worst dealership I have every worked with and I have purchased multiple vehicles in my lifetime. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone unless I don't like them. We've purchased 5 vehicles from O'Meara over the past 30 years. We've always been happy with their inventory availability, financing and maintenance dept. We'll likely purchase other vehicles from them in the future. I do want to make one comment about O'Meara's marketing. Bonnie needs to stop being the voice of O'Meara. I know she's recognizable but every time I hear her raspy/hoarse voice I cringe. It sounds painful and forced and makes me uncomfortable. I literally change the channel on the TV or radio every time I hear it. Great job over the years, but pass the torch to someone new. read more

Terrible experience at O'meara Ford in Northglenn Colorado, Salesman seemed distracted like he was more concerned with socializing with his coworkers than selling me a car. In negotiations, we agreed on a price plus dealer fees; before signing I asked "What are the dealer fees?". The salesman said "$599" so I signed. When I got back to financing they started getting the paperwork ready. I had to ask to see a detailed breakdown of what I was going to pay for. When it was shown to me it said "ETCH" and had a fee of $335. I said, "What is that? I don't want to pay for it whatever it is, no one told me of an ETCH fee." The financial manager seemed flustered and said I have to because all their cars are sold with it. I replied "I was told the dealer fees were $599." The financial manager said that the salesmen are supposed to tell us about this upfront and he wasn't sure why he didn't. At this point he kept preparing the paperwork. Don't trust this dealer. If you expect any support after the purchase I would toss that idea out the window. I called back the next day to express my dissatisfaction with the ETCH fee and what felt like shady dealings. I got through to a sales manager, she took down my information and said she would get to the bottom of it and get back to me. Low and behold, she never called me back. Three more calls throughout the week and still they never called me back. Each time they would transfer me to someone's voicemail. Finally, I called back a bit upset at this point and asked why they wouldn't call me back. The receptionist said she would go talk to a sales manager and get back to me, she promised. Well, 20 minutes later she did call back but only to tell me I would be contacted by the sales manager. Now it is 3 weeks after and still... no call back. Please, spend your money elsewhere, O'meara Ford is not worth your time. They burned me, I will never give them my money again and really for your sake, I hope you do the same. read more

I was warned not to bring my car here for service and I wish I had listened. I had my car towed to O'Meara Ford after Car Max ( where I bought it) told me to take it cause they said it would take them three weeks to even diagnose the problem. When I called to make sure the tow driver made it with my car Earl in service couldn't find my vehicle, so I called the tow driver he said he left my car in the service department and gave to key to Earl him self. Meanwhile Earl calls back an hour later and states my car was found in employee parking this was my first sign they didn't care about me at all. I was told on Wednesday they would look at my car by Friday, so Friday around lunch I called Earl to see if they had a chance and he told me no they hadn't. Just before close Friday Earl called to tell me they needed the info for the after market warranty I bought before they would even look at it. I guess CarMax who had the warranty info didn't relay it and Earl here didn't think to ask for it during any of our other conversations even tho he knew of its existence from the beginning. So after they had my car for over 72 hrs they were informing me it would be at least 3 more days till they could look at it. He also added he would need me to front $1500.00 for diagnostics and I would need to see if the warranty would reimburse me. On Monday I called Earl with the warranty info and he told me they would not be able to help me with out the up front $1500.00 regardless of his contacting the warranty company. So I again paid for a tow to a mechanic who was more than happy to help fix my car and work with the warranty to get it done with no out of pocket $ they also paid for a rental for a full week now that's service. Don't buy any parts from O'Meara if you want them in a timely manner. I first called for a quote for a seat belt, told them the metal piece that goes on the actual belt. They quoted me about $30 but I needed to go in to pay in order for them to order the belt as it is a special order, cool not a problem. I go in, and it takes 20 minutes for them to even understand what part I'm asking for, when I do the motion of putting the seat belt on, etc they still didn't understand. I had 2 guys helping me because the first guy couldn't find the seat belt in the computer even with my VIN number. They order it, turns out they quoted me the wrong piece over the phone and it was actually over $100 for the part I actually needed. I order it on a Thursday afternoon, so they said it would be there any time after 10:30 the following Wednesday. I go late Wednesday afternoon, the guy couldn't find my order in the computer, so I offer my receipt. He goes back and can't find it in the back. Cool, now again same 2 guys helping me at this point because the first guy can't figure out why he can't find it. Come to find out, it never got delivered on Wednesday as they stated. The guy never actually looked me in the eye and said it wasn't delivered, I overheard between his conversation with his coworker that was helping him find the part. The guy offered to call me tomorrow when the part comes in, but didn't have my number to call me at....but yet when I walked up initially he asked for my phone number to look up my account. So how did you not have my phone number to call me and tell me it's not in on the day you promised. Terrible customer service. After this transaction I will not be returning to O'Meara for any reason. I will take any and all business to another Ford dealer that actually cares about their customers. read more
