I pulled in and they guided me directly into the bay, handed me a complimentary bottle of water, got my info while already starting the oil change, cleaned my windshield, topped my fluids, didn't upsell me on an air filter (actually said "you know, I wouldn't replace this. It looks good."), and I was out in 15 minutes! They even topped off my tires for free, which had gotten low during a cold blast. Stayed in my car the whole time, which is wildly helpful with a 1 year old in tow. They had a coupon online I could use too. The *only* thing I had to ask about was the resetting my van's oil alert, which they happily did. 10/10, an amazing experience. Quick! Used to live nearby. I've seen the commercials. Finally popped in and I've got to say, "Pretty, pretty, pretty good." Needed an oil change and didn't want to make a dealership appointment. Had to grab my son from school in thirty minutes. Take 5 Oil Change to save the day! Pull up in one of the two lines. They'll ask what you need. Get some information on you and your vehicle if you haven't been in before. You wait in the car. Pay. Roll out. The national commercials show the bottled water and window cleaning. That wasn't my experience but it was quick and easy for sure. Price is about what you would expect for a quick in and out. Maybe a tad high but all the prices and services are clearly marked online. They do have coupons so maybe peep and save yourself $10-25. Doesn't hurt. I don't think this would be a regular occurrence for me but if you've somehow forgotten to get your oil changed or only have 20-45 minutes between appointments this is definitely a strong contender. read more

The techs were extremely friendly and welcoming but I experienced a really big problem. The day after getting an oil change my 2025 Mazda with 10k miles on it stopped on the highway and a lot of lights on the dashboard came on. I had to get it towed to Mazda as it would not run. After inspection it turns out I had received approximately double the amount of oil I needed in my car. This made sense because one gentleman put air in my tires and then another tech came to put air in the tires after him and the first tech told him he already had. Then the first tech cleaned the windshield and the second tech came back around and started to clean the windshield and the first tech again told him he already had. So it made sense when Mazda told me they removed around 9 quarts of oil when it takes a little over 4 quarts. I understand mistakes happen and it's probably a rare occurrence due to the great reviews but I was pretty unhappy about it. 600 or so dollars gone for just an oil change due to the mistake when it was all said and done. read more

Take 5 is kind of a misnomer. It took about 20 minutes per car for an oil change here. I thought it would be shorter so the first time I came here there were 3 cars ahead of me in my lane. I allotted 45 minutes but that wasn't enough and I had to bail right before it was my turn. The second time I came, it was less crowded. Then I discovered the reason it took 20 minutes is that they staff here was required to go over everything. So many questions. They even showed me the oil they put in on the car's dipstick. Why? No clue. It was new oil. It looked like new oil. Do people think they put old oil in the cars or something? Everyone was perfectly nice. But it cost $140 to get my oil changed. Maybe that's what it costs for a newer car these days. But the reason why I came here is because my mechanic told me to take the car to an oil change place for just an oil change because they charge $140 for an oil change. Either my mechanic doesn't know the pricing out there or this place was expensive too. read more

When they say it's fast, they really mean it. It's so convenient to be able to stay in the car while they do their thing. And they even handed out a cold water. I only removed a star because they tried to do the classic "you need this thing that costs extra money" thing by trying to convince my to get a new air filter for 20 bucks or whatever. (I didn't need a new air filter. but whatevs.) Either way, I'll be coming back when I'm too lazy to change my own oil. read more

We have been to Take 5 on several occasions without incident. Two weeks ago I went in to have my oil changed and they also removed my air filter to check its wear. It was fine and they put it back in and changed the oil. As I pulled out I noticed the car had a rough idle. I went across the street and got the car washed pulling out with the same rough idle. Went back to Take 5 for resolution-was not admitted back into the bay, just had some guy that didn't work on my car come out with a snarky attitude saying the RPMs were fine and that "they only changed my oil". I came home and had my friend look at the engine and he found that air filter housing was not seated correctly and clips were left unfastened resulting in rough idle and horrible noise. Very poor customer service and I will NEVER go back and will encourage others to do the same. Also, the lack of care for the environment at offering plastic bottled water, is wasteful and doesn't serve as a perk for the customers. read more

I love the customer service at this location. Sianna was incredibly nice and made sure my snack needs were met with fruit gummie snacks. Once I got to the location, I was greeted with a water and a friendly face. It was such a neat experience. Best oil change I ever received and was fast. I arrived and was greeted.I asked the person who greeted me if I was in the right line. I was already in the shortest line/lane. He had me get in the other line and of course a car that got there after me was serviced first. I waited for 30 mins and had to leave because I couldn't be late for work. All this could have been avoided. I had been to another Take 5 location and was impressed by their speed and service. This was the opposite experience. They lost a potential long time customer. Before I left I told an employee what happened and all she said was "sorry". Review Update. I was contacted by the owner Patrick who resolved the issue that I experienced in a very timely manner. Such an awesome experience. I never thought I would say I "enjoyed" getting my oil changed but these guys really took care of me and my SUV. I had never been in before but was out running errands and thought I would take a chance after reading all the reviews. I was so pleased to see that the reviews were not unfounded. I didn't realize it was a drive through oil change procedure and was a little confused at sitting in my car while they worked but it was so convenient. This is by far the friendliest, funniest shop I've ever rolled into for an oil change. One, their sign on the road was hysterical. (New pumpkin spice oil), two, they offered me a water as I waited in my car, three, every single person I interacted with was friendly, well spoken, helpful, and prompt. When I commented to Emily that the shop was great, she indicated that she had also worked in other dealerships and other locations and this one is night and day for the employees as well. Where do I even start! I went there around noon and stopped in front of the bay and waited for awhile and didn't see anyone there.. so I drove off.. came back a few hours later and waited in front of the bay again for five minutes and didn't see anyone so I jumped out of my car and started yelling too see if anyone was there.. finally they all came out.. They had me pull in and I asked them about pricing.. they started working on my car before they even gave me an answer.. I told them too tell me a price before they started the work.. the service tech was so confused on pricing it took 3 of them too actually get me a price as they were trying too get me on an up charge on the most expensive oil change.. I asked for the medium pricedone.. after 40 minutes they finished.. the grease monkey down the road is 20$ cheaper and usually has it done in 10-15 minutes. When I got home I smelled burning oil. I checked the oil dip stick and it looked like the over filled it by about two quarts. When i was checking the oil dip stick I noticed oil all over my engine bay. They didn't measure the amount of oil they put in as they just poured it in from a large black jug.. concerned I took it down the street too grease monkey and they stated that the filter was on waaay too tight, and my car had nearly 2 quarts over what it should have!!! Place is a clown show and I would completely avoid them as they don't know how too do oil changes and will just try too upsell you on stuff you don't need the entire time.. told me I needed new wipers that I had changed a few weeks earlier I wish the owner would contact me and give me my money back as I went and had another oil change done the next day basically so the could drain my oil and put in the correct amount! read more

Honestly, that was the first time when changing oil, guy asked if he can open a door to my car to scan a barcode. Also, when he put a sticker inside my windshield after job is done I didn't feel like he was invading my space either. As a woman it's extremely appreciated - especially I was the only car there (I arrived in right after they open) Plus girl who works there seemed to be very cool & chill!
