Whole House Cast Iron Sewer Pipe Replacement/Reroute…read more If you have cast iron pipes, this is a frighteningly expensive job that all of us have to do, as they are all at the end of their lifespan. Not only is it expensive, but some companies do not use the correct parts, do not create the correct slope for drainage, destroy your irrigation or electrical wiring, do not pack the dirt back correctly, expect you to actually vacate your house for days on end, try to avoid city inspections....so many potential nightmares. I highly recommend Plumb E.R. in Forney. Jake is the nicest, most honest and helpful person, has a full-time digging team of 16 years, knows each city's requirements, and will pass inspection the first time, every time. They are incredibly fast to completion, always left us a useable bathroom and shower, and the entire process took less than a week with no need for us to leave. While replacing the sewer pipes, we also found yet another existing slab leak that had been going on for ages. Jake took it in stride, added an additional pex re-route through our attic (this was the only hot water that had not already been re-routed out of our slab), and very kindly fixed all the ancient 1976 leaky faucets and drains I had given up on so that we could actually use the master bathroom until we have it remodeled. What I thought would be a miserable experience was actually fast, correct the first time, well finished, and just a month later you can barely even tell anything was done in the yard at all. Jake's confidence and cheeriness kept us sane during the process, and it's amazing to have flawless drainage and peace of mind.
