    Vegetarian pizza

Great pizzas. Excellent prices. Great service. Good crowd and attention to customer needs. We ordered two pizzas marinara and vegetarian. Both were great and tasty. Great find as the next door high star restaurant was closed due to the Christmas holidays. Good for us! And then the tiramisu made it full five stars!!!!

Nice spot for some pasta near the castel Sant'Angelo and the Pantheon. Both patio seating and indoor seating available but not air conditioning.

Yelp isn't as big in Europe which is why this place has low ratings. Let me justify why this is a five star place and why I agree with TripAdvisor on this one. After exploring the Vatican, the tour guide shilled the place for their carbonara. I figured, he must get a cut from the restaurant. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and went over to O'Paz. This place was full, loud, and smelled of good food. A nice lady called me over and sat me in the back. She asked if I wanted tap or carbonated water - both free. I ordered their carbonara praying the tour guide was right. What makes me sad about leaving a country is leaving their food. This carbonara was on another level. Let me tell you, it's not soaked like a BP oil spill. The food pasta has the proper tenderness, the cheese isn't too overpowering, and the cut of meat is cooked to perfection. Out of all the pasta I've had in Italy and my 26 years of living, this is definitely the most memorable one. So does this deserve a 5 star review? Of course. I'm ballsy enough to say their carbonara deserves a Michelin Star. When in Rome, eat O'Paz.

Not so good. We were starving so we ate here. Ordered pizza with sausage and it was RAW. Will Never come back.

    pizzas and happy people

AMAZING!!!!!! the main reason this restaurant gets such good reviews is because of its service. the waiters are so friendly and funny and nice and really keep it entertaining. pizzas came out super fast and were super good, no burnt bottoms and super thin and crispy with fluff in the crusts. Their starters are also very good and overall service was super attentive and will definitely come back :))

We found this joint after being turned away from another place that was full. This place has the atmosphere of a local eatery frequented by local families. There was MTV on the TV. I ordered the seafood pasta. The pasta was a simple tomato base, with no extraordinary flavors. Good but not great. We wanted to add some spices, salt and pepper, but none at the table. There was a good amount of seafood. We enjoyed this place, but will move on to other Italian r

I ordered the seafood spaghetti with no garlic and was extremely unsatisfied. First, they put garlic, making me have an allergic reaction when I clearly said no garlic. Second, the food tasted like they boiled the pasta in fish water. Third, the service was horrible. The waitresses would rather talk among themselves than do their job.

This was some of the best pasta we have had in Rome. Highly recommended the gnocchi. The mushroom pasta was also amazing. Service was great!

Very good food. Fun. A little too hot. We went in January and had a lot of clothes and coats on. Yummy food. WiFi. Great wine.

Located just outside the historic city center near Piazza Navona (one of the busiest and most…read moretouristic zones in Rome), Il Corallo is a classic Roman pizzeria/trattoria with a slightly more polished exterior that hints at its popularity. Inside, the space is larger and more bustling than your typical small trattoria, with tightly packed tables and a lively dining room with old-fashioned stone walls and a rustic fireplace. The vibe is energetic and social: perfect for groups or a casual dinner with a bit of atmosphere. The menu is extensive, with pizzas, pastas, antipasti, and large-format appetizers, and there's also a long menu of daily specials that feature some more adventurous dishes (trippa alla romana, anyone?). The specials menu is in Italian, but our server was more than happy to clarify anything for us. Three of us opted for their pizzas, all of which seem to be the Romano style of a thinner and crispier crust (as compared to the Napoletano style of a thicker, fluffier crust). The Diavola (€9) is a simple pizza topped with a thin layer of cheese and savory pepperoni; the Margherita (€8) is your classic thin-crust strewn with fresh mozzarella, herbaceous basil, and a drizzle of olive oil. Lastly, my Broccoli e Salsiccia Pizza (€12) was a bit more "out there", with mozzarella, roasted broccoli rabe, and herbed sausage on a white base. I appreciated the novel flavor combination, but found the pizza overly greasy. Two members of our party tried their pasta options; the Spaghetti all'Amatriciana (€12) is al dente spaghetti with a bright, acidic tomato sauce, crispy bacon, and tangy Parmesan. The Cacio e Pepe (€12) is tonnarelli (egg pasta) served in a creamy, cheesy sauce with freshly ground black pepper, and Il Corallo's version comes in a delightful nest of crispy Parmesan. Il Corrallo falls into the affordable price range, offering solid value for a sit-down meal in central Rome. It's slightly off-the-beaten path but still just steps away from some of Rome's most famous destinations, serving up delicious food with friendly service; a definite recommendation if you're in the area!
