Tucked away on a busy street in Rome near the Tiber and St. Angelo is a quaint Neapolitan pizzeria. The crust is fluffy, ingredients are fresh and delicious. What's not to love? The locals go too so you know it's legit. Prices are very reasonable and if you're feeling like more than pizza they do have pasta and salads. The food was great!!! We got the Margherita pizza, pizza rustica, friarelli burger, the pasta tagliatelle ragu. We had so many bags and wanted to sit but they had VERY strict policies where you can't sit unless dining in. They charged us extra for something we didn't get and we didn't notice until we got home so be careful and check your receipt. Spacious spot with enough indoor and outdoor seating. The only thing I disliked was the attitude of the folks. They were pretty rude... for a Saturday night it was fairly busy but we got our food within 15 minutes. Beautiful evening it was so nice to sit outside, Even though we didn't have a view of the bridge and castle. We shared a water, salad & lasagna. We stopped for only drinks, however it took a little while for someone to acknowledge we were even in the building. The inside was packed and there was a lack of friendliness by the staff. The music was a little loud, and changed multiple times. read more

Yelp isn't as big in Europe which is why this place has low ratings. Let me justify why this is a five star place and why I agree with TripAdvisor on this one. After exploring the Vatican, the tour guide shilled the place for their carbonara. I figured, he must get a cut from the restaurant. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and went over to O'Paz. This place was full, loud, and smelled of good food. A nice lady called me over and sat me in the back. She asked if I wanted tap or carbonated water - both free. I ordered their carbonara praying the tour guide was right. What makes me sad about leaving a country is leaving their food. This carbonara was on another level. Let me tell you, it's not soaked like a BP oil spill. The food pasta has the proper tenderness, the cheese isn't too overpowering, and the cut of meat is cooked to perfection. Out of all the pasta I've had in Italy and my 26 years of living, this is definitely the most memorable one. So does this deserve a 5 star review? Of course. We are visiting Rome and stopped by Pazzariello after our bus tour. Was greeted by our waiter Daniel who was friendly, funny and great overall! The food was great, we had caprese salad and they even provided balsamic vinegar that has proven difficult to find at other restaurants in Rome. The four of us each tried pizzas and a pasta that was all excellent! Daniel surprised us with a couple after dinner shots of an Amaretto & Jagermeister type liquor called Vecchio Amaro Del Capo. Staff: When the waiter's disdain for you for no apparent reason makes you want to cry, how can a customer enjoy their food. Stumbled in here by change after hours of walking around Rome without a meal. I was stunned by the rudeness of the orange haired waitress. My traveling partner was better received than I. She's had a pleasant experience. Instead I talked to the manager to order the rest of my meal. I'm very unhappy with coming to this restaurant. If tourists make up the bulk of your profits, perhaps the waitstaff should be more tolerable of tourists. Food: Tried the 4 Cheese Gnochi. It was ok. The sauce was good. I wanted to order something with a protein but was too disturbed by the rude waitress. I ordered a Margherita from the polite, short-haired manager(?) rather than incur the rage of the waitress. Hopefully it's good. My friend really enjoyed her veggie soup. The pizza does take a bit of time, so give yourself time to wait for it. It's a pretty good pizza. This restaurant is terrible. Their is only 2 very slow girls working there. One takes the drinks and basically runs the meals and the next takes the order. Sat there for 20mins and NO ONE took my order, then another 20-30 mins for a a relatively small meal. Needless to say I walked away without eating.
