REbasilico was fantastic! The food was delicious and our server Marco made the experience so fun and entertaining.

Service was terrible , we were greeted with a bad attitude from our server, seems there was drama between two waiters and affected in her service to us, very rude , not warm , as if were a trouble to be there. There was an incident where in is the servers dropped a glass and it chattered completely, it got near our food next to our tables ,the glass even cut a ladies finger next to us. I understand there can always be errors and we were kind and understanding to the waiter, she was very polite to us as well ( not our rude server). It was a dangerous situation because the glass was everywhere. I figured at the very minimum the customers that were near the area of the broken glass would get a discount or free desert , but not even an apology from the manager, That's to bad , Food was great! Firstly, the food here was so delicious. My mom is a flight attendant and frequently flies Rome trips. She says this this is one of her and her crew mates fav casual dining spots in Rome. The drinks and food lived up to her hype! I got the carbonara, which I thought was far too salty at first. The next day we took a cooking class learning how to make authentic carbonara. We were in Italy for our honeymoon. Went to Rome, Tuscany, Lake Como and Milan and rebasilico is the best pizza, Hugo spritz and limoncello spritz we had! Highly recommend checking them out! I was looking for a true taste of Naples and this place definitely delivered. Cozy spot with a great menu! Tried their pizza, La Leonessa, and it was fantastic. The pancetta with crispy potatoes and the spicy sweet sauce were incredibly flavorful and the fresh basil really made the pizza pop. Authentic Neapolitan style with delicious toppings and a perfect crust. The rustic, Italian-inspired decor created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Service was quick and attentive. 10/27/2013 As our last meal in Rome, we swung by this restaurant near our hotel to grab a bite to eat. We had just come back from seeing the pope at the Vatican City and just wanted to eat something quick before we headed off to Siena. We came across this restaurant (it was one of the few that were open in the area on a Sunday) and decided to sit outside for some pizza! Free wi-fi enticed us too. We ordered: Siciliana pizza - mozzarella cheese, basil, eggplant, 8 euros Napoli pizza - mozzarella cheese, basil, anchovies, 6.5 euros Both pizzas were tasty and huge. We enjoyed the flavor, plenty of yummy cheese on top, crust was thin. I couldn't believe I was able to finish the pizza, given how big it was. We left feeling satisfied and it helped to complete our Rome experience with big wide grins! :) read more

Rebasilico is a restaurant that focuses on the old-school Italian style, and it perfects the style that many people love when it comes to restaurants. The pizza is amazing and the people who work there are so nice because they treat you well and make you feel comfortable. It is a very famous restaurant, but they still managed to keep the place clean as if it were a new place that just opened. The food was served in about 10-15 minutes, and the food was perfectly cooked; the pizza was very good, and it was very strong taste-wise. The portion of food that you are given is well worth the price because when you compare it to prices in the United States, you will see that the prices make more sense for the portion that you are given. Everything that they gave us in the restaurants was well cooked, and the waitress was extremely nice and often recommended foods that were some of the famous and well-liked ones. They had specific places for the people who reserved and did not. They had a second floor and a first floor, so there was a lot of space for people to eat. The restaurant looked like a typical restaurant; it had a place where they served the drinks, and they had two places which were for the people who reserved a table or didn't. Their dessert were also high quality. It is located in Rome; the place normally brings a bunch of people over through to their staff, interacting with people in the restaurants. If you do like you're pizza in a certain way, then you could get a different pizza because they have a variety of food that no matter what kind of food you like, you will always find something that you will like. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to experience Italian pizza and have somewhere where they know that they are getting food that is worth their money. It is also a very comfortable place with calm music, and its variety of food make it nice because you can go there a bunch of times and not get bored. There are more than 10 desserts that you can pick from a wide variety of pizza, steak, and spaghetti. It is a great place if you want to relax and get great food for a good price, and if you want to bring your family, then this is a good place to go to. It is not a noisy place, and I would recommend reserving tables so that you can have the best experience. It is near hotels, so you can always walk over there if you don't feel like ordering online, and it is in a perfect spot to have a fun time and to have parties. Four of us went for lunch not knowing what to expect. We had pizza, calzone and salads. We enjoyed it so much we returned later that evening for dinner. After a long day of tourist-ing in Rome, the beau and I needed to REfuel. We wandered into this restaurant because it wasn't too far from where we were staying. We just got a cured meat and cheese platter and some vino. The portion size was just right (Italian portions...not American!!) and everything was delicious. Then for dessert I cheated on being gluten free and we ordered the baba - cake soaked in rum. It was really good but it didn't have the cream filling, which was what I was expecting. Nice little eatery with an outdoor and indoor dining area that was close to our hotel near Termini station. We ate there twice for lunch during our stay since it was so close and easy as they open at 11:30am. We had the pizza the first time and it was really tasty. We tried the pasta the second time and it was alright, but not as good as the pizza. Portion sizes are huge so you will not leave hungry! Staff was very friendly and the diners were a nice mix of tourists and local people. We didn't eat there for dinner so I don't know what it's like in the evening. Is this the absolute best restaurant in Rome? No, but it's a great reliable choice if you are staying in the area and want something close and easy. Would eat here again! read more

We were on our honeymoon in Rome staying at Hotel Montecarlo which we booked through Gate 1 Travel. We came to this restaurant the first night because it was right around the corner from the hotel. After trying multiple restaurants around the hotel, we ended up coming here a total of 3 times over our stay. Eh- don't bother. It's a chain restaurant. Pizza Margarita wasn't very good at all-?3 basil leaves, bland sauce, and wood-fired crust was curiously soggy. Kids said Pasta pomodoro was ok. We had a coupon for a free "dolce" dessert- sugared pizza dough drizzled with chocolate hazelnut sauce. Kids really enjoyed that, of course. Very efficient staff and cool restaurant layout with catacombs in the basement. Pizzas all came out with slightly burnt crusts which affects the taste obviously. Bread was fresh and this was super convenient to our AirBNB. Calamari was average but grossed us out with 4 additional, in-tact prawns.
