Our previous septic service company (Shortys) was bought out by this company. We didn't realize…read morethis until we called that we assumed was Shortys. They told us he retired and they were running things much better, etc. Although, they didn't give firm dates of service just a week of they claimed they would contact us the day prior to inform us an ETA. Instead, this afternoon, I received a text message saying a technician was in route to my home. I had to scramble out of a meeting to deal with an unannounced service and contact the place. I was greeted by a dismissive manager, Mike who began his communications with "Listen, here's the deal, if you don't like us or our pricing go find someone else." Transitioning away from a business you trusted for years is tough enough, but being met with that level of hostility and dismissive attitude is a hard stop for us. Oh and one more minor detail.....Their 113% PRICE HIKE (from $300 to $640) is bad business, plain and simple.
