I had a great experience here at O'Reilly. My truck started running rough and I stopped by so they could help me analyze the issue. Turned out I had a spark plug go bad and one of the cylinders was misfiring. I was in good hands here. They had all of the parts that I needed and had a special price on the spark plug coils. I purchased all of the parts to change the plugs and coils. It took me a little over two hours to do the job but I'm guessing that I probably saved $200 in labor costs to do the work myself. I have been a loyal O'Reilly customer for years (ever since they acquired the Kragen in my old town) but the customer service in the Pflugerville location is quickly encouraging me to find a new parts supplier. I have been into this location a handful of times over the past 4 months that I've been living in Pflugerville. I've come in for a variety of things, mostly pads/rotors and oil change supplies so far. With the exception of Aubrey (one extra star just for him) and one other older gentleman that I dealt with, this shop seems to be staffed entirely by snotty 16 year old kids who can't be bothered to treat their customers like human beings. On one occasion I sat at the counter for 5 minutes while the kid in front of me related a story to his co-workers about illegally hunting bucks with his friend's tags instead of looking up the one single part I had come in to purchase. Standing in front of the computer, hand on the mouse, talking for minutes straight like I'm not even there. I get it, they're kids, so it never really bothered me THAT much. But this morning it was the same thing again. I come in to have a set of rotors turned, a different kid looks at me like I have two heads when I suggest I want my rotors resurfaced. Tells me they can only do it if they aren't below the minimum thickness, I say yes I know this, I already mic'd em and they're good to go. He double checks as it is his job to do, and seems awfully disappointed that he's actually gotta do the work now. He then takes down my name and number so he can call me when they're done, even though O'Reillys website advertises rotor resurfacing WHILE YOU WAIT. Again, not a huge deal, but not what's advertised. One other small incident: ordered an oil drain plug to replace the beat up one on my truck, paid for it in advance, and they charged me for it a second time when I picked it up. Didn't realize it until a few days later when I found both receipts at the same time. Wasn't worth going back to deal with them over $2. I've been coming to O'Reillys for about 7 years now because the prices are pretty good and the rewards program isn't bad, but I'm more than willing to spend the extra few bucks at a Napa to be treated with at least a little respect. read more

Bought a 2004 Yukon from a friend. Can you replace the battery in November 2021. It is September and the battery is already bad. Well that's according to the genius up here who have tested it twice and told me it was good and there must be another problem. I come back in the third time did the battery test bad. They will not warrantee the battery unless I have a receipt or the phone number my friend registered it with my friend has a Lotta phone numbers so now we have to figure out which phone number just to these professionals will replace a battery that's less than a year old. I wish I could run my AC business like that if a manager left the store then all the warranty on anything that I've done there would be over with. I miss the good old days when I warranty a warranty not freaking loopholes to get out of replacing something so they can charge people more money I mean it's freaking ridiculous. read more

Do yourself a favor and drive a few blocks down to the other guys! My wife was on her way to work and the front right blinker went out on her car so she stopped in and asked if they had a replacement. All 4 employees, or should I say kids, were just standing behind the counter chatting and she had to ask 3 times to get one of them to assist her with locating the right part. She then asked if they could install the replacement bulb and the employees flat out refused. My wife left, went to the "Advance Auto Parts" several blocks down the street where they promptly greeted her, asked her what she needed and then installed the part for her at no cost without having to be asked. This place has really gone downhill in the last few years. I can remember when they genuinely cared about their customer base but sadly this isn't the case any longer. read more

This place is an auto parts store, not a mechanic shop. If you rely on them to fix your car, you may be in for a rude awaking, as they sell auto parts not car repairs. Service here is always good, a good friendly funny attitude by most employees. They will try their best to help you with your automotive issues and parts, but leave the diagnostics to the mechanics. This is my neighborhood auto parts store, not as fancy as Napa and not as cheap as AutoZone. read more

I had a small problem with my car just before our family vacation. The employees went FAR above and beyond to help me, and let me borrow a few tools so that I could fix everything. I've only gone there one other time. We needed to move some furniture, so we went in to look into how to get our truck ready to tow a U-haul. The employees really listened to our problems and suggested using a tarp and ropes. That solution that worked great for less money. Then they took the extra time to demonstrate how to tie down the load. read more

The people at this O'Reilly Auto Parts are so nice. Everyone in there was friendly! Greg was especially helpful in getting me get some oil in my car when I desperately need it! He was cautious about not selling me too much because my dip stick is TOTALLY unreadable. I can't tell you how much I appreciated him!! I would recommend them any day! read more

I was waiting on a tow truck for my Mercedes C240 to take my car shop to replace a dead battery, and a middle-aged associate named Hector popped up and said he could do it, no problem.
