I spent nearly $60,000 on a brand-new 2026 Honda Passport TrailSport Elite and, three weeks later, I still don't have my vehicle back. Within approximately 50 miles, I discovered multiple defects that should never have made it past a pre-delivery inspection: peeling and bubbling paint on the driver's door, defective window tint, damaged steering wheel trim, a rear bumper scuff, and damage to the front grille. I dropped the vehicle off on June 16 and was initially told it would take 4-5 days to determine the next steps. Instead, the process dragged on for weeks with little communication. Most updates only came after I reached out myself, and the response was usually that they were still "waiting." It took nearly two weeks just to get the paint repair approved, and only after Honda Corporate became involved and opened a case. I also went more than a week without a loaner while my brand-new vehicle sat at the dealership. While Eduardo was professional and courteous whenever we spoke, the overall experience has been unacceptable. Spending nearly $60,000 on a new vehicle only to have it spend its first three weeks in the shop for multiple defects is not what any customer should expect. The most frustrating part is that I still don't have the vehicle I paid for. A brand-new Honda should not require body shop work almost immediately after purchase, and customers should not have to chase down updates for weeks to find out what's happening with their vehicle. We just financed a car from Texas Honda and we are paying way too much in APR from the bank that loaned us money, not the issue, we needed a car ASAP and have to suck it up because of the credit score. The issue lies with the complete lack of communication and things they said they'd do and did not. We were supposed to pick up the car on Tuesday when they said it would be ready. They communicated through text and on paper that the issue with TPMS light would be fixed, and the ac would be fixed as well as regular maintenance, as well as a detail of the car, oil change ect would be done by Tuesday. They did not communicate with us that it would in fact not be read, we reached out to them they said nope tomorrow, never heard back the next day so we reached out they said nope tomorrow for sure. All times we had to be the ones to call and text which I understand they are busy people but we just spent money and we expect things to be ready when they said they'll be or at least be communicated with and not left in the dark. Before we picked up the car we also tried to reach out and get a copy of the financial documents because we wanted to arrange our schedules and get everything squared away with payments, they said they'd contact the finance department about sending us the info, they never did. When we reached out the day a few hours into the day to see if they were able to get ahold of the department on sending us the information they told us the person in charge of our documents left early for the day. Again left in the dark about that. When we showed for the car we were able to see the documents but when asked if we could get a copy of everything they said they had already made copies and just handed us some flash drive we have no way of looking at. When we finally got the car the issue with the TPMS light was not fixed they said they got the wrong part so we can come back....To call them or text them Saturday morning to see if the part had arrived, so we did they said nope try again Monday. So we tried again Monday (Today) Person in charge of letting us know if the part had arrived or not basically said I'm actually out until NEXT Saturday so try again then..... or just show up and ask the maintenance guy in charge. We did not want to make the drive for no reason if the part hadn't arrived or he wasn't there. So we called, many times, were transferred many times. No one ever answered, weird because there's always at least 10 people just chatting in the front. Showed up and the guy there (different sales person) has no idea any of this was happening ,our sales person never let anyone know anything before dipping for a week. The AC was also never fixed, Sunday afternoon when we were running errands air would blow but it wouldn't get cold. We were sitting there sweating. The AC repair was written into their "WE OWE YOU" form stating our AC would be good and fixed at pick up. It's not fixed. Probably a leak or something from a line. So desperate for them to fix the issue we want to have our mechanic fix it and just bill Honda because when we Brought that up to them and they're saying they don't have anything on file about our AC. This whole dealership is unprofessional and sold us a car that needed repairs. We did not agree to buy "AS-IS" we were told those issues would be fixed and I've got texts that prove it. We will both be submitting complaint about everything so far from this dealership to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles as well as the Better Business Bureau. read more

In fact, Car Max, Auto Nation Toyota, and Gilman Honda all told me my car was in excellent condition as I had it serviced every 5k miles at Cedar Park Toyota. Ultimately, First Texas Honda offered $10k for my trade in. Gilman Honda in Houston offered $12k. Marcos also told me that the car I wanted to buy had only been for sale for one month. But Car Gurus said it had been for sale for over 80 days. At least Aaron was honest about how long it had been for sale. First Texas Honda offered $36.4k out the door on a certified 2025 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport AWD with 7k miles. I paid $34.2k out the door on a certified 2025 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport AWD with 3k miles at Gilman Honda. I saved $4200 by driving to Houston! Leo said to run to Houston and he was right. My Month-Long Honda Odyssey of Dealership Incompetence As a loyal Honda customer who purchased and maintained my vehicle at this dealership, my recent experience with First Texas Honda's service department has been appalling. My rights were disregarded and I was met with a clear pattern of incompetence and negligence. What started as a routine service on August 8, 2025, quickly became a month-long saga of unacceptable service failures. Factual Incompetence: A tear was made in the seat during a detailing service. The detailing was outsourced to a third party without my consent or knowledge. Deceptive Billing: I was billed for additional services on August 12, days after I picked up my car on August 9. I paid this contested charge of aprox. $350 and even after payment in full, on the August 12 "service" the manager was still seemingly trying to use a strong-arm tactic that he also "needed" my signature. For what? My car was not at the dealership on August 12. Systemic Communication Failure: My case was passed between at least five staff members (MH, DP, V, MK, and AT with copies to the general manager SR). There was no accountability, and I was forced to make multiple, wasted trips, including a planned drop-off on August 20 where a manager sent me home without a resolution and leaving my car at the dealership without anyone available to do the work for at least 3 days. Shoddy Repair Practice and Safety Negligence: The dealership attempted a repair on the damaged seat, but the photos of the repair (which I requested) were in bad lighting and far away so I could not agree to the repair remotely. To make matters worse, my car was returned to me with a dirty mat, dirty dashboard and a low tire pressure warning (see photos), despite having gone through multiple tire inspection (2 visual inspections and 1 AI inspection with their UVeye scan) and detailing being the service that caused all this issue. I am first to acknowledge good service but I also need to call out negligent service. This dealership has become a disgrace to the Honda brand and lost a Honda customer of almost 3 decades. read more

6/22/2026 - The outstanding excellence of the service (advisors, technicians, management, call center, complimentary services) is getting very impressive each time I visit (since 2023 when I became a customer here). Overall, great professionalism, transparency in keeping me informed, high knowledge, great advices, perfect quality service each time, friendliness, extra care, promptitude (a bit long review, but it shows consistency of great service over time, same conclusion also at the end). The excellent example is the invaluable service of advisor Fred Mathis (returning recently, showing similar experience as in the past, described further down), listening patiently & friendly my requests, then throughly, promptly, positively following-up, explaining all very knowledgeably, caring & patiently each detail I required (inviting me to talk to the technician in the shop), even staying considerable after hours, therefore going the extra mile to provide me the understanding & peace of mind. Other examples are advisors Andy H, Eduardo M, with similar passion and character (staying overtime). Techs Michael or Roman, did a very prompt, fast & thorough job while very well documenting the checks efficiently on the video. I had also past amazing response beyond words from an older service team (Fred Mathis again, Chad and tech Luis, 2024) on a very difficult to find, unusual issue that happened on my 2018 CRV - new battery drain overnight. First, the advisor Fred M brought to my place right away (at a late hour Good Friday) a brand new Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport loaner (leather seats, 400 mi). The mentioned team carefully checked separately each circuit, updated the software and kept the car several days under observation. The breakthru finding is very important, it was not the battery but a CHIP defect in the keyless entry control unit (all repairs were at low cost). I wish the repair took longer :), that Hybrid loaner was amazing. I was being kept informed all this time, then I was shown in the shop how the team worked to find this bad chip. ... On another past problem requiring engine cleaning, Chad & Fred took from their personal time to help (they just had signed out when I arrived) and Chad had spent the next 3 hours of his own time to thoroughly supervised and informed me, knowing of my urgency to get it fixed right away...and well done!!! To also commend the management, example being gen mgr Sunny R, very passionate, friendly, thoroughly listening and caring, leading by example (I noticed him several times running thru the service dept). The Customer Service call center, always promptly and friendly answering the calls - Ms Randi going the "extra mile" to follow up after working hours on my service booking request, very positively, friendly and patiently listening to my complex description and promply provided the solution; also to mention Ms Kenya that showed extra care, understanding and immediate follow up, or Zoe who also is very positive, friendly and caring each time. The car loaner dept is showing similar great positive and friendly service. The other departments I interacted with during my time spent over visits at First Texas Honda showed similar professionalism and care, examples are Aaron Garcia in the sales dept & Justin Parker in the purchasing dept, both very positive, thorough, knowledgeable, caring, very patient, going the extra mile to advise. Never to ignore the warm & welcoming "Starbucks-style" complimentary beverages & snacks service while waiting for the car to be ready, with the very friendly, positive, caring baristas (Sammy, Kara, Tiffany) helping & brightening the atmosphere. The first tires inspection at check-in where tire inspector Tricia B goes professionally & thoroughly to check and friendly to explain the findings, together with the inspection video by the technician and specially with the exceptional service by the advisors, all ensure the extra peace of mind, knowing that all was being very transparently communicated and well taken care of. High pressure and deceptive sales tactics. We went in to purchase a used older model car we found on the website. Of course the car was "already sold" and another car was pushed on us. We were rushed to make a decision, and when it looked like we were not going to buy, the sales person, Dovlet, insulted us and changed his demeanor from friendly to surly. We had very little time with the car because the sales person said, "the detail crew needed to finish getting it ready to post". So we were ushered away from the car after a short test drive and overview. Back in his office talking, the sales person used the pitiful tactic of needing to feed his family. In order for him to make the sale he offered to put new tires on the vehicle. Unfortunately for us we agreed to purchase, but could not pick up the car for a week; they needed to do a "Safety Inspection". We made a down payment and left. A week later we received the car, drove it 100 miles and the check engine came on. Come to find out the Head is cracked. First Texas would not, in good faith, offer us any kind of help with this. On a call with Leo he indicated that he wanted us to be happy, but when it came down to it they did not, because our happiness would end up costing them money. I believe that the code was cleared by First Texas prior to sale, and that they were fully aware of the defect in the vehicle. Deceptive business practices. I looked up the owner online and he is accused of at least 4 counts of arson (2024). Couldn't outright purchase a property, so he set it on fire. Now I have a car that is undriveable. I would avoid First Texas at all costs. read more

I took my 2016 Honda CR-V Touring SUV to First Texas Honda, the dealership where I bought the vehicle brand new. The dealer has maintained my vehicle ever since, except for the tires. I took it in for an oil and filter change on 5/24/2026. While there, they recommended that I get the coolant flushed and a procedure which cleans away carbon buildup, and the spark plugs. I had everything done except for the spark plugs. When it came time to pay, I used my Android phone which had my default credit card as the chosen one. I completely forgot about their damned 3% surcharge for using a credit card. The service writer should have reminded me, in my opinion. But no, I was charged an addition $14 for the surcharge. I didn't notice this until I got home and scoured my bill. I sent an email to the service writer asking him if I could get them to refund the charge to the credit with the surcharge amount on it and I will provide them with a Debit Card number instead. I waited several days and heard nothing. I tried a second time and still, nothing. I never saw any policy anywhere that said this was not allowed. If they credit company is charging them a fee to process their transactions, I can understand that, but I'm beginning to think that their surcharge is probably more than the surcharge making a profit item rather just a breakeven to recoup their fee to the credit card processor. I resent being ignored, especially since I have spent so much money at this dealership over the years. I have made my last visit to First Texas Honda until they make this right. I called Round Rock Honda and they don't have this crappy 3% fee they tak onto their service charges. read more

I've been a customer of First Texas Honda for several years, but my recent experience with their Service Department was extremely disappointing. I brought my vehicle in with a full tank of gas and a clean interior. It was returned to me with the tank empty and the inside left a mess--something I've never experienced at any reputable service center. The floor mats had even been removed and stacked haphazardly on top of my daughter's car seat, which felt careless and disrespectful. To their credit, after some time, they refilled the gas tank and did a quick cleaning of the car (thank you Lorenzo!)--but this only came after I raised the issue. It shouldn't have happened in the first place. Adding to the frustration, I was surprised to learn at checkout that they now charge a 3% fee for using a credit card. While I understand that many businesses are adjusting to rising costs, this wasn't clearly communicated ahead of time and felt like an unnecessary add-on at the end of an already expensive service. On top of that, I've dealt with smaller issues over the years--overblown fees, services not performed as requested--but this was the last straw. At the end of the day, treating customers with respect means owning your mistakes and not passing the buck--financially or otherwise--onto the people who keep your business running. I will not be giving First Texas Honda any more of my business. Customers deserve better accountability and basic respect for their time, money, and property. read more

This is a sorry dealership. They sold a 'certified used car' to my brother, a veteran. Convinced him to buy $8000 (not a joke) in warranties, but failed to do the maintenance that was suggested by Honda on the belts at 90K. At purchase time the car had 107K. We not find he must pay the $2000 additionally for them to do the missed maintenance. So this is how they do business. This is a sorry dealership, I would not recommend them to my worse enemy. They say they will do anything to help veterans, but there actions sure show different. We did our own research to see if other dealers sold used cars without this maintenance item being completed, and we got an absolute YES from 2 other dealers. This place is absolutely garbage...my wife and I went 5 days ago and the best price we were offered on a Hybrid CR-V was ~36K which is still $2000 more than other Hybrid CR-Vs at dealerships in both San Antonio and Houston with less mileage. My wife and her friend went back again and the sales manager (Leo) lied to them saying the best price he could offer was 38K which was higher than the previous offer we got 5 days ago (36K). Leo got caught in a lie claiming his 38K was the lowest he could go, but then my wife revealed the paper offer from 5 days ago (36K FROM FIRST TEXAS HONDA...) and the competitive offers from Houston (34K). How does a car appreciate in cost after 5 days...especially a car that has been on the lot already for 80+ days (per CarGuru). Leo then claimed he was contacting the other manager (Abe) to see if he could honor the 34k offer from Houston/San Antonio and he made my wife and her friend sit around for 40 minutes only to come back and say he couldn't match the price. We're pretty sure he never actually called the other manager and was just bull shitting. After wasting my wife's time he told her she should "run to Houston as soon as possible" because it was a good deal. We will happily drive 2 hours to give our business to another Honda dealership over this shit show of a dealership. read more

I uploaded another video. Pulling down the headliner just enough to reach up to the bottom of the antenna assembly, just under the roof, if you push up on where the wires attach to the antenna, the reception becomes clear. Not just touching, you have to apply pressure. In the video you can perfectly hear the radio go from heavy static, to clear when I press on the assembly, back to static when I let go. This would seem to indicate either the wiring/mount is not correct and/or secure, or there is something wrong with the assembly itself. Perhaps a grounding issue. I communicated this fact to staff but was obviously not taken seriously and told nothing wrong could be found with the radio/antenna. How anyone can turn on that radio and come to that conclusion is beyond my understanding. read more

First of all, let's just say the easiest car buying experience I think I have ever experienced. I Inquired on a particular vehicle online/chat and Nina Barrera sales consultant contacted me via text,but first ask me if she can text me which I found so respectful. I started the process , she sent me the info and a video of the car that I requested very quickly. She only followed up if I ask. She did not harass me at all,which I have experienced through most dealerships. We drove from SA to see the car because they where the only one that had this particular suv,color,model everything. Got there around 7 she had it ready to test drive, then proceeded making the deal which was so easy I did a KBB trade in estimate through the website which they gave me what I wanted for my car. The sales manager TJ was easy and kind not pushy at all and we came to a good # and then it all happened . Finished with the finance manager Rizwan which was also easy and kind. We had a very disappointing experience at First Texas Honda dealership Austin last week. We drove a long distance specifically to see a car that was listed online. When we arrived, looong waiting then finally met one of the staff service support, then we were told the car was "on service" and ll go check in 5 minutes if ready or service -- but we ended up waiting again over 30 minutes or much more with no clear communication or updates. No one offered us on the first place an office to join. Eventually, we were told the car was not ready to drive and may have been in an accident, despite having no accident history listed online. This raised serious concerns about transparency and why the vehicle was advertised in the first place. Why car was kept and not been available as listed. We also asked to see other available cars, but the staff showed little interest in helping us or offering any alternatives. The overall attitude felt dismissive and unprofessional. Felt unrespectiful service and thanks the staff amd didnot felt wast more time or useless conv. My husband kept talking and the staff person shared his no and told him he will make sure to update him for this car status that day afternooon Or within a day or two, and as expected, recieved ZERO response and no respond to my husband call. Very disappointing experience -- poor communication, lack of respect amd professionality for customers' time, and questionable listing practices. Went in for a B1 service (oil change, tire rotation, multi-point inspection) for my 2021 Accord. Decided to wait while they performed it. The entire experience was first class. My service advisor Xander showed up on time and walked me through their process. They have a barista who whipped up a latte and muffin for me (complementary, but you can leave a tip if you want). There is a foosball table, couple of video games, tv and plenty of seating. While I waited they texted me a video of the multi-point inspection. Xander stopped by and explained a finding I could get addressed if I wanted to. And pretty soon, ahead of schedule, he stopped by to say the car was ready! I have bought my last 4 vehicles at First Texas which is why we came back to the dealership for purchase of the most recent vehicle on 2/13. This past buying experience has lacked the care and respect that I have experienced after my last 4 purchases. We were sent home with a car that had a windshield crack that was not disclosed to us at time of purchase and not noticeable at dusk. After reaching out consistently to follow up for 2 weeks on a potential repair, after multiple unanswered calls and emails, we were finally advised we had an apt to handle. Upon arrival we were advised there was no apt and it had to be taken to a third party for service and the car would be needed for the entire day to repair. Why was this not disclosed? And why did we need to consistently follow up to receive a response? This is not customer care. Additionally we uncovered no fluids were topped off at purchase and were almost out of all of the following: transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant for the radio, coolant for the engine, power steering fluid and AC antifreeze. When we called to advise of this we were informed the car was sold as it as we are responsible for handling. My understanding is these fluids are a basic necessity to run the vehicle safely? Why would we purchase a car without these fluids and be forced to spend $170 out of pocket to fill them? At this point I would not return to First Texas for future business. read more

I first visited First Texas 25 years ago, and was immediately turned off by the fact that literally every single car on the lot had a $1,000 markup - at minimum. I was so repulsed by the practice that I didn't buy a Honda, period, and haven't had one since. However, I decided to give them another chance. Knowing how painfully slow car sales have been nowadays - and knowing that the pandemic-era inventory problems most car dealers had are long over, with tons of vehicles in stock - I went in today to inquire about a car. I'd already checked and confirmed that I could purchase a literally identical car (same model, color & features) at a Dallas-area Honda dealer for a $2,800 discount off of MSRP. So I went into their new-ish location and immediately saw the model I wanted. But then I noticed the windshield sticker: a $3,000 MARKUP for total, um, malarkey like "super special tint packages" and "nitrogen-filled tires" and whatnot. I know three strikes is the norm, but in this case I'm calling it after two: zero chance I'll be returning. read more

After buying two cars, I can tell you they will treat you like an afterthought once you've paid up. I paid for an $1800 service that never worked from day 1, and after 4 visits to have it fixed I am only convinced that their tech team is not capable, and that they think anything not related to car sales is inconvenient. But I have to say, during my recent visit there the guys in the service, sales and finance department bent over backwards to make sure I left as a 100% happy customer. This was my first experience at a Honda dealership and I have to say I'm pretty shocked at the incredible service that I received. Entering the dealership I had quite a few challenges, but they handled it incredibly professionally and to my liking. I've been a FTH fan since they were on Koenig. Yep I'm that old in Austin terms. My whole family has bought Hondas from FTH and I even had the opportunity to work from them for a short period of time. While my journey with FTH didn't continue with employment, I still made connections with phenomenal employees over the years. Last Thursday my Accord started misfiring and I had it towed to FTH as it was the closest service location. I was a little skeptical on the service operations and had my guard up. While my feedback to the advisor team would be to more aware of customers, and to greet with greater speed, I was assisted quickly by Colby who was extremely kind and welcoming and is in my opinion, the pinnacle of advising. I have been in the industry for 12 years, and Colby surprised me with his warm demeanor, soft sells on much needed service, and perfect communication as he set clear expectations on the repair process. I was immediately given a Hybrid CRV, which was a phenomenal drive. The young gentleman at the loaner counter was very personable and went over the loaner terms clearly. I drove off in the immaculate loaner and heard from Colby the next day. Saddened by the needed repairs (although very much expected), we opted to invest in a new vehicle instead of fixing our Accord. It was then that Colby reunited me with an old colleague, Michael Broderick, and he advised us on new vehicle options. We were interested in a Pilot and we came by Saturday to test drive. Michael is an easy going guy that does business old school but without pressuring you to buy more, or finance beyond your needs. He gave us the attention and advice we needed to come to a good decision on our Pilot! While we couldn't commit to a vehicle on that day, Michael and the finance team trusted our intent to purchase and we rescheduled for Monday. With financing pre approved through American Honda, the buying process was seamless and within the timeframe I expected. It being late on a Monday, and the end of the month, everyone worked quickly to help us through the purchase process. Our Pilot was detailed and parked up front, showcased -looking gorgeous! Alex in finance was speedy and low pressure on options to protect our vehicle. I felt that our trade in pricing was fair to market value. While the cost of the car was slightly higher than I had anticipated, but still being fair, the value of purchasing through FTH drastically outweighed the competition as there are so many added values and protections added to the car when you service with FTH; it just made sense. I'm happy that FTH is doing well, and happy to see staff there for literally decades. Shout out to Karl Lewis and Bob in parts!! All in all a great purchasing experience and my love and faith in FTH has been restored and rekindled. read more

Honestly, have the worst experience I've ever had at a car dealership. My dealer, Brandon Lukenbill gave me a car that I fully paid for and signed for and then a month later said that they were going to report it stolen. I went up there to talk to them. They said I could still keep the car then the next day they take my vehicle and then I asked for at least at the very least my refund and then they don't even give me all of my money back so in this process, I have lost my home. I have two loans. I still have to now pay off for the car that I am not gonna have for the rest of the year on one and for the next six months of 2026. I paid three grand for that car and they only gave me 2000 back. I've tried to get on the phone with your managers. They do not call you back. I have lost so much in this situation including a job because it's a driving job and I don't have a car that I still have the loans to pay off. I was also in the hospital when they took my car so not able to go to my job I did get fired. Everything was confirmed with my dealer and his manager that all paperwork and alll things had been approved before giving me these car pls make sure that this information is CORRECT before giving someone a car to leave with and messing with there job and income going forward I really hope yall get better employees. Iv since tried contacting many managers and they NEVER call back or even answer there phones. I have no gotten my lawyer involved bc I have to paperwork I signed n the check stating I had done everything on my end necessary. Iv asked yall to give me a break down of why u didn't give me all my money n have now basically stollen from me. Yall have refused to do so n now my lawyer is getting involved as he should read more

I initially brought my 2008 Honda Ridgeline to First Texas Honda for what should have been a simple power steering reservoir replacement. That quickly escalated into a full power steering system replacement -- costing nearly $6,000 -- and took around two weeks to complete. Within two days of getting my vehicle back, the air conditioning completely failed, requiring another couple thousand dollars in repairs. Just a few days later, the power steering failed again. Turns out, they had installed the wrong part, which took another week to fix. In total, I spent somewhere between $10,000 and $12,000 on a truck that wasn't even worth that in the first place. That's on me -- I chose to proceed with the repairs. But what I don't take responsibility for is First Texas Honda's failure to perform the full diagnostic they claimed they would. Had they been upfront about the extent of the issues from the beginning, I would have never sunk this much into a vehicle that clearly wasn't worth it. What makes this even more disappointing is that my family and I have purchased multiple vehicles from First Texas Honda over the years and have always brought them here for service. That history made this experience especially frustrating. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and I will not be returning for future service or sales. All of this took place roughly a year ago. Since then, I've only driven the vehicle about 3,000 miles -- and would you guess -- the power steering is leaking again. Terrible quality of work, plain and simple. This place feels like a complete scam -- whether through negligence, incompetence, or just predatory business practices. After this, they've lost my trust entirely. read more

The people there are very nice and easy to talk to but at the sametime it is very easy to get ripped off on repairs. I Was told there needs to be a investigation on a symptom as well as a list of fixes which came out to $3k A symptom investigation required leaving the car overnight so I believed they would investigate the symptom first because it only makes sense to understand the full picture of what your working with as far as repairs are concerned. I get a call the day day telling me now there needs to be $10k worth of work. They also tell me they already did the $3k of work and they need my approval for the rest. If i knew the total cost was going to be $10k i would've just bought a new car instead. Why did they not do the investigation first? I would've been fine with paying for the $200 investigation cost and move on to buying a new car but now that there is a sunk cost of $3k this whole situation put me in a very difficult situation where i had no choice but to continue to repairs on a old car that is clearly not worth $10k. Offered me nothing as far as options and in the end my wallet got decimated due to short sightedness from this shop. Personally this experience has been so awful i am not sure if ill be coming back to this store anymore ever again. Id rather drive further and go to the round rock store at this point. read more

Bought a 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid sport Touring Sedan at First Texas Honda using the Costco auto buying program and my purchase process was seamless with no pressure at all. The First Texas Honda team was just super. No surprises and no markup. My sales rep Nadeem Khan was fantastic as was the finance manager. I plan to have all my car services at First Texas Honda. Stay far away from this place. I've bought many cars in my lifetime and I'm accustomed to high pressure sales and bait and switch tactics. However, I've never been looked in the eye and blatantly lied to like I was at this dealership. On a positive note, I would give 5 stars for the sales department. The salesperson was knowledgeable and friendly and was patient with me as I spent a lot of time going back and forth between a couple of different cars. That's where the positivity ends. The finance department gets -4.0 stars. The finance manager started into his extended warranty pitch by lying to me about what my monthly payment would be without the warranty. After a bit of negotiation he gave me a big smile and acted like he was going to get me a great deal by selling me the warranty for only an additional $12 per month. However, once I got home and reviewed everything in detail it was obvious that he had inflated the monthly payment without the warranty by $56. So in fact the actual cost of the extended warranty added $68 a month and not $12. This was not a slip of the pen or a simple typo this was willful deceit. When I discovered this deception I returned to the dealership and spoke to a different finance manager. I was assured that the extended warranty would be canceled and my loan amount would be adjusted accordingly. This was 3 weeks ago and my loan amount is unchanged. It seems like their strategy is just lie to you and hope you don't ever follow up and check the math. If you purchased an extended warranty from this dealership then I urge you to review your sales contract in detail and make sure you were not scammed. The standard amount will be about $3729 which at 60 months and 4.9% will be about $68 per month. So an update in response to the reply from the manager informing me that Tyler will reached out to out to me. He called me and I briefly spoke with him because I was at work. He apologized for the subpar service I received and offered to make it up to me. I had my mind set that I will not return. He couldn't go into specifics as to how they would redeem themselves because I couldn't talk for king over the phone. There was no follow-up call regarding that. After a couple of weeks he emailed me and said he wanted to "reset" my experience and wanted to "connect next time you are due and see if I can do something better for you?" I do not want to bring my car back for my next oil change after such a bad, if not, one of the worst customer service experience I've had anywhere. If they were new and just opened I can see why there were delays or employees weren't attentive or confused. However, they've been there for quite awhile to have the opportunity to evaluate their customer service skills periodically to make sure things are flowing and customers leave happy. Why would I want to come back based on that experience, and trusting that Tyler will follow through with what he says he can do better for me? He didn't say what or how. It's vague and I find it hard to trust. I went to another dealership and was very happy with their service. This place set the bar low. Hopefully this review will change it. read more
