Stopped by on my way from Tucson heading to west Texas with my toddler in the car. I thought I smelled coolant during the previous week in AZ and it was over 110F the entire time. I was about to make the 8 hour drive which has several very remote stretches. I had missed the exit for the Oreilly on the east side of Tucson and stopped in Benson instead. God must have been smiling down on us that day because Nigel helped sell us what we would need in case of an emergency with coolant or oil on the trip. He is an expert mechanic and gave me a tutorial of checking the fluids and safely topping up oil or coolant in case of an emergency. I really can't speak highly enough of Nigel & Oreilly Auto parts. I will never go to another auto parts store after this experience, it really gave me brand loyalty for life. Some companies just have a positive corporate culture and it shows; Oreilly is one of them. Nigel is top notch and a really good guy. They are lucky to have him and he really set us up with the supplies so that if we got in a jam we had what we needed. I couldn't be more impressed by my experience at this store. I have been going into this store for the last 3 weeks for supplies for restoring the interior of my "old school" car I am having restored. They have always been extremely helpful. Yesterday, I went in for advice, and while I was there, got a set of windshield wipers for my diesel truck (which they conveniently installed for me!) I pulled in closer to the store so they wouldn't have to walk far to do the installation, and realized I was leaking radiator fluid. The manager who was helping me, asked me to open the hood, saw it was the water pump leaking, so that I could call my mechanic and set up an appointment to have it replaced. He kindly filled up the radiator overflow to get me on my way home. This little "extra" was something he was not obligated to do, but he did so with a great attitude and willingness, and it was more then appreciated! Thank you! Dawn Allen Benson read more

Headed into Benson to get 2 bids on needed parts from O'Reilly's & NAPA. First bid @ O's. Second bid @ "N" ... TOTAL TURN OFF. At bid? NO! At the unpro-attitude of the frontline person "T" who not only belittled (disrespected) Billy's knowledge (O's Mgr.) BUT, also DID NOT take into account that what he said, he did so in the presence of a coworker & customers. Regardless of a community's size, NO EMPLOYEE should ever disrespect anyone. PERIOD! ESPECIALLY COMPETITORS TO A CUSTOMER(S). Immediately, "T" turned me off that there was NO WAY that I was going to spend 1 red cent at NAPA. Went back to O'Reilly's, spoke to the 2 AWESOME Mgrs., Billy & Darthie and decided not only to inve$t in their products, BUT, I also ordered another product not only because it was needed, BUT, simply because I was still turned off @ how that NAPA employee disrespected 2 of Benson's nicest Managers. Absolutely the best customer service! Our van broke down on the interstate and we were towed to this location. They worked with us until a solution was found. They worked hard to try to solve the problem. Even though they didn't have the exact part (special order only) they worked for hours to come up with a solution. read more
