After numerous calls to get a tire fixed on our motorhome, we finally found Del's Tire. The techs immediately began work upon our arrival and quickly found a leaky valve stem, which was promptly replaced. We were back on the road in about an hour. I was a bit surprised to learn that many truck stops won't work on RV truck tires despite the fact the tires are exactly the same as those on semi trucks and trailers. read more

WOW! Well done! On a Sunday, we got a flat in Tombstone, with still 150 miles to Gilbert. With grandbabies in the car, I did not want to chance that drive on a temporary. First though, big name places were either closed or closing and either too far away or did not have the necessary tire size. So, on a Sunday afternoon, 20 minutes before their scheduled closing time, we limp into Del's Tire Company on a spare (with the other tire ready to die, too). James was our hero! Super Fast! Super Quality! I was ready to pay through the nose! Turns out, I paid less than in the valley!?! Plus, seriously, you have to watch James work. He moves like Nascar pit crew. On the road again in less than 43 minutes total turn around time. And...the grand babies slept through the whole thing. He's a car whisperer! I suggested Del's should out the wall between lobby & service, put up a window to create a viewing theater. Folks could get a drink & some popcorn and just watch in amazement while James does his thing. Absolutely amazing service and the best tire shop I have EVER been to. Hands down recommend them. I blew a tire on the highway between Benson and Tombstone and had to have AAA sent me someone to help get my spare tire on because Ford has terrible lug nuts that swell and break. So I drove into Benson and was desperate for at least one new tire. When I made it to Del's they immediately came out to look at my tire. Not only was the blown one bad, but the other front tire had the same uneven wear (we need an alignment badly apparently!). One tire on the car was recently replaced so I discussed just getting the other three done at once. Not only did they have tires in stock and ready to go, we discussed changing all the lug nuts so that I could get them off if ever stuck on the side of the road again. The staff was very knowledgeable and they show you the tires and explain things. You're not getting an upsale. They are being 100% upfront and I love that. I ended up getting three new tires and all new lug nuts (best thing ever if you have these darned Ford cars with these dumb nuts) and they did this all in under and hour -- and it was late and I bet many people wanted to go home but stayed to help me out. That is great service! Better than any service in Tucson by far. Also, I was desperate for tires...they were so affordable though! No tricks here with pricing. I appreciate that more than anything. They also have a gorgeous dog in the lobby who greets you. I was so frustrated until I met Porkchop. Suddenly everything in the world was going to be okay -- seriously a great way to calm weary travelers. The next time I need tire help I'll drive here from Tucson because there is nothing better than the experience I had here. The peace of mind they gave me was great. And of course, I love the dog! Seems like customer service has gone downhill now that the business is established. I showed up 20 min early for appointment and asked if they could get me in. I stated if they couldn't get me in I would gladly return at my scheduled appointment time. Instead i was lied to about they should get me in. I cannot say better things about this amazing shop. I got a flat tire on my way from New Mexico back to Tucson On a Sunday and they sent a mechanic who arrived within 20 minutes of my phone call. When he was unable to fix my tire they called in a second mechanic who was able to repair it and get me home. Amazing customer service, incredibly friendly and very dependable and fast. Last night, my son and his girlfriend were traveling cross country from LA to CA; after hours, around 6:30 pm, he blew out a tire. After trying many others, I called Del. He had the right size and made sure someone was at his shop when my son came limping in on his small spare about 3 hours later. While traveling from Tombstone to Phoenix in torrential rain and low visibility, we hit and object on the road that caused a tire blow-out and permanent damage to the rim that tire was mounted on. This left our vehicle inoperable and created an emergency situation for us. It was Sunday evening, dark, cold, windy, and raining, but that did not stop Justin of Del's Tire from dropping what he was doing and opening shop to help us out. Not only did Justin help us with the tire and rim, he loaned us one of his vehicles. That kind gesture enabled us to travel to Tuscon and pick up a rental car, so that we could return to Phoenix that evening. Justin's team had our car repaired and ready to go early the next morning, way before most of us rise in the morning from a night's sleep. During our experience with the folks at Del's Tire, we felt as if they had our best interest at heart, exemplified by their actions and approach to helping us to solve our problem. Del's Tire is a family owned business that took care of us like family. We came into town, having a short time to take care of my dad's house/vehicles, after his passing. Being from out of town, we didn't know what to expect...had no prior history with mechanics in this small town. But our expectations were exceeded when we met Justin. Dad's truck had been sitting for a year so Justin came to the house, got the truck back to town and went above and beyond to make sure everything was in good working order for us to drive back to CA. He also made sure the trailer we were hauling was ready for the trip. He showed nothing but kindness, professionalism and made this difficult process so much easier. TOP NOTCH SERVICE!! I was passing through Benson on my way to Douglas when I realized I had a noticable air leak in my tire. I was driving a rental car but the rental company was being useless... so I stopped in at Del's and got immediate service despite them being very busy. They were able to patch my tire and get me back on the road within half an hour, all with super friendly service and spectacular prices! Having car troubles was the last thing I needed but I couldn't have asked for a better shop to help me out. Last Sunday, my daughter and I were driving to Dallas from Phoenix. My car broke down. Del's mechanic came in, on his day off, to help me, so that we could go home because we were stranded. Del, Jason and Butch bent over backwards, with their kindness and service to take care of us. Butch is a master mechanic. He knew what he was doing, even with the challenge, that he faced, when the diagnostic was not saying what was wrong. They called later to check on us and made sure we were ok. this place is a nightmare. First they put the wrong tires on my motorhome, then they scratched and dinged my Alcoa aluminum rims and denied it. The tires still leak from the valve stems after they put balancing beads in the tires for balancing and told me they would not affect the valve stems. I am taking the tires to a real tire shop to fix what Del's tire shop has done wrong. Additional cost. This place is neither equipped nor has the knowledge of changing truck size tires on an RV. read more
