Autozone tested it and said it was bad and needed replacement. I took the car to the store on Stage Rd, the Manager tested it and during the test, the test unit said "Unstable Battery". After completion of the test THIER test unit said "Replace Battery". The manager stated that they could not accept that result to replace the battery and I would need to leave the battery in the store and tested by a different unit and I'd have to leave the battery with her for 24-48 hrs. If you get a battery from any dealership or auto parts store and their test unit says the battery they will replace it on the spot. I had that experience previously with Autozone. How many people can leave a battery with a store and be without their only vehicle for that period of time? They never mentioned that fact when I bought the battery. It seems to me to just be a way to decrease the number of batteries they replace. Last time I do business with that company.

My phone was going down fast and would not hold a charge and would get extremely hot and shut off. In an age where everything is app driven it made it very diffucult for me, a technically challenged person. I stopped by my service provider for a new phone and they use app to purchase, update, etc which again is difficult because my phone was not cooperating at all. The real issue became the transferring of data from old phone to new. They were not able to get the job done. I stopped in Batteries Plus and was greeted by all the guys. They immediately started looking at the phone discussing back and forth while I sat overwhelmed. Everything I need is on that old phone. Kendrick McVay said let me see that phone and went to work. It's not one vehicle but two I've had this happen for. The first time my oil change people told me it was reading as bad and I should get it checked. The next time my car battery just died on me and this time it started cranking really slow so I took it somewhere else to get it checked out first. There is a 48 month warranty battery. After getting the battery checked at a different location and they told me it was bad and to take it back since it was under warranty, so I did. I took it to Batteries Plus Southaven and the manager asked me if I had a battery at home!!! I laughed because who has an extra car battery at home? He said he had to keep it 24 hours to check it out. I'm already late for work and school. Although, it was already showing as bad on my printout from Napa, but this time the manager said he could sell me a new battery and refund me the next day if he found it to be bad. He said he'd call. Well, I had to call them the next day after not hearing back by 3 pm and I went in at 8am the day before. He said it was bad and I could come back for my refund but the warranty would expire on this brand new battery in September this year instead of the expected 48 months. If you don't stand by your own product why would or should the customers trust you? I will not be returning. I'd rather buy a new battery somewhere else trustworthy than playing shift the bad battery every year with them. My advice- avoid them!!! On top of that he told me my alternator or starter may be to blame. All that has checked out fine on my car at a very trustworthy shop. The batteries are BAD! Also, I got my battery replaced in my key fob and after leaving noticed they cracked it and didn't say a word, so it was totally broken in half and could've gotten my key stuck in my ignition.
