I walked into Battery Outfitters, handed them the AirTags, and they took care of everything for me. My mechanic tested the battery for voltage and voltage loss, as well as for cranking power. The alternator and serpentine belt were good. He believed it was bad and recommended I return it. Pulled the battery and took it to Interstate. They tested it and found it was no good. They cheerfully gave me a brand new one (now 72 month instead of 75), no money needed and not pro-rated as within 30 months. Warranty starts over again! Wow! I have installed Interstate batteries in all of my vehicles for years. This is the first time I have had any problems, and this is minor. I will continue to buy and recommend them. John Q

When you buy there you know what you're getting, a new factory battery, not one that's been sitting on a shelf at a discount tire store for 2 or 3 years! When a battery gets 6-months old, they recharge it. If it still doesn't sell, and gets to be one year old, they re-charge it again, mark it "BLEM" and then sell it for less than half price. Those are the ones that I try to buy for my collector cars. I usually get 4 or 5 years out of one. Their service is excellent, they will put a battery in for you if you have the vehicle with you. Their selection is virtually unlimited in that they have batteries for fork lifts, motorcycles, boats, deep cycle, you name it! You should bring a core with you, but it doesn't have to be the battery that you're replacing.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Endurance Warranty, particularly the handling…read moreof my claim and the lack of follow through from their dispute resolution department. I filed a claim concerning the failed turbos on my 2014 Mercedes Benz CLS550. Endurance denied the claim, stating that the problem was preexisting. I strongly disagree with that determination. The dealership mechanic provided information indicating that the vehicle's turbos were in good working condition with no known issues. In addition, the ASE certified mechanic who diagnosed the failure stated that the turbo turbines had failed and that the failure was not the result of mistreatment of the engine. After the denial, I was contacted by Danielle from Endurance's dispute resolution department. Danielle indicated that Endurance would provide monetary assistance to help offset the cost of the turbo repair and that she would provide me with a list of repair shops that could assist me. Unfortunately, the promised assistance never materialized. I did not receive the monetary assistance that was discussed, and my subsequent message requesting follow up has gone unanswered. What makes this especially frustrating is that I did not initiate the offer of monetary assistance. Endurance contacted me and offered it as a way to help resolve the dispute. If a company representative tells a customer that assistance will be provided, the company should honor that commitment or explain in writing why it will not. My concern is no longer limited to the original claim denial. I am also disappointed by Endurance's lack of follow through and communication. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Endurance Warranty. I would be willing to update this review if Endurance contacts me, fairly reviews the mechanical evidence, and follows through on the assistance that was discussed. Dr. Johnny McGrew
