I went in today and a worker told me my front two tires really needed to be replaced. I asked him about my back ones and he said they're okay for now but he's worried about the front ones. A lesser salesman would've told me my back tires needed replacing for the extra sale, and as a young woman that happens a lot where they try to upcharge me. They didn't try to add anything, and I appreciated the honesty and went ahead with them to get new front tires. Service is very speedy and the waiting room has comfortable seating while you wait. They simply run it over the tires and beep boop beep, they've got an accurate reading. It takes all of the guesswork out of the equation and ensures a more complete picture of your tire life. The techs then refer to the large in-store guide, explaining their recommendations in detail. This visit, I popped in for a rotation. As a rideshare driver, I have the need for new tires far more often than Sunday drivers. I utilize their sister company, Tire Rack, find the most economical deal for my vehicle. I then have them sent directly to Discount Tire, who notifies me when they've arrived. I can either schedule an installation appointment - or just drop by. My experience here has been that they usually underpromise and overdeliver, especially when it comes to estimating how long I'll be waiting. Totally nice, very informative, and kept me posted on pricing and explaining everything! I'm sure everyone else there is just as cool as he. All those mechanics do a lot for customers, A+ work! I wonder if the customers ever give back, even if it was just a thank you card. They get us to work and back, they keep us moving and they're excellent at doing so. Everyone was always so…read morefriendly and always got great service. 8 months ago I started getting a 'check fuel cap' scrolling on my trip line on my dash. I tried all the regular fixes like tightening the fuel cap, but message was still scrolling. When I went in month's ago for an oil change Luke told me it was probably the Purge Valve but I could wait until my tags were due and needed an inspection. I made an appointment with Sid explaining check engine light intermittently comes on with the 'check fuel cap' message. He told me they would charge me $219 for a diagnostic. I said I don't need that, I know what the problem is. He was rude and didn't care what I had to say and I made an appointment to drop the car off on Wednesday 9/2. I went in at 9;45a to drop my car off and I met Sid. He was I just as rude in person. I told him I don't need a diagnostic because I know what the problem is. He wouldn't listen to me, he said thats not how we do things. I said why would I pay your $219 dollars to tell you whats wrong, when I'm telling what's wrong. He then said supposedly thats whats wrong, he kept talking down to me like I was a dumb woman. He then didn't want to talk to me anymore and the manager Jeff came over and was immediately was very condescending. I told him I didn't want a diagnostic I knew what the problem is. I said cant you just replace the Purge Valve and see if that resets check engine light. He also said supposedly thats wrong, it could be this or that and we need to run diagnostic that is policy. I said cant you just replace part, he said we don't do that. Jeff said Ill take $100 off. I was so upset and should have just left with my car. My ride came so I just left. I called 4 hours later and Sid answered said they haven't even looked at it, he again was not friendly or helpful. Dennis called me back a few hours later. Dennis was so nice, he a always is. He told me the Purge Valve needed to be replaced, exactly what I said but they wouldn't listen. They had to order part and wouldn't be done till the next day. If they listened to me at 10a they would have it done that day. Dennis called me around 9a and said the car was ready. I was going to talk to Jeff but only Dennis and Luke were there and they have always been nothing but nice and helpful to me through the years so I didn't want to unload on them so I paid the bill and $119 Diagnostic charge. This has really upset me because I always told everyone to take there car to this location bc they can be trusted, that they are honest and do great work. This review is solely on my interaction with the new Manager Jeff and employee Sid. It have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dennis, Luke, and the mechanics. I felt taken advantage of and dismissed. I drove out of the way to go to this location because the employees were so nice, helpful, professional and always provided excellent customer service until this day. You just lost a good customer. Do better!

Gave me my tire back and said it had a vale stem leak. They said they wouldn't charge me since it took so long. I put it back on my car and it got to looking and they didn't change/fix a single issue. Now we are stranded at night with a flat tire. I wouldn't recommend this branch.

After the young woman, Ally,** adjusted the tire pressure I was so appreciative and despite her initial decline for a tip I insisted she take the $10 tip and get lunch on me. So she accepted as to not hurt my feelings. . So, while pulling out of the "bay" something under my car was caught on curb surrounding the underground work area. I became extremely concerned but the young lady saw what was going on and instructed me to pull forward while she freed up the piece of rain shield that was covering my radiator, which was hanging down significantly enough that the three workers, with my vehicles best interest in mind, asked if I would mind waiting while they finished up another customer so that they could all get a better look and of course I was more than willing to wait. Turned out that the shield hanging off could have actually punctured my radiator and with my permission. They all 3 people (OT, ABBY, and one other younger gentleman)worked to dissembled the shield. that was a surprise to us all, considering it was coming off the car in that way however it was difficult to completely remove. So without them taking it off, no telling how much damage under my car would have been done if it was RIPPED OFF while driving. or said The 3-4 foot long 2ft wide HEAVILY DAMAGED piece of plastic most likely would have punctured the radiator sooner than later. I would not have needed an oil change or repair that would have discovered what JIFFY LUBE mechanics were vigilant and caring enough to identify, suggest I stay there until they investigate, and ultimately resolve a potential hazard to myself, other motorists and an extremely expensive repair had it punctured the radiator or god knows what else! The people and the quality of work, couldn't be ANY BETTER. THEY CHARGED ME NOTHING! I had tears in my eyes because THAT IS NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN FIND OFTEN THESE DAYS. Good people doing quality work and doing it with compassion and honesty. I'll be taking my vehicle here from now on for all routine maintenance. Great job you 3. (Sorry I butchered names) but management, Please acknowledge the three workers on the day I mentioned above. They are examples of what our world needs, and you are lucky to have them in your shop! Third time here since I bought my tires from them this past January…read more Nice guys and service seems fine but they are sooo slow! They seem to be very understaffed. They have a steady stream of customers coming through the doors all the time. I should know, I've sat here for hours waiting for them to complete service on my vehicle. This time I had an appt to fix a leaky tire - they found a nail- and a state inspection. They got to the nail right away but now 90 minutes waiting here, they still haven't started my inspection. If you consider trying them I'd suggest dropping your vehicle rather than waiting. If you're in a hurry it may be a frustrating experience. The last time I was here, I had an appt for wheel alignment. My spot was pushed back 90 minutes after I arrived. They said they were shot handed. They finally completed their work 3.5 hours later. I still trust them more than those weasels over at Dobbs though.... UPDATE- Ok, after almost two hours I'm done. The guys finished off great and were highly professional. I feel guilty for complaining. I don't believe the slow service is because of the employees. Management needs to review their staffing needs and adjust. The front desk guys and service techs are fantastic!
