I woke up every couple of hours to make sure the tire didn't go flat. We got to Discount Tire before they opened and they took my car in right at 8am as a walk-in even though they were already very busy. By 9:12am we were on the road. After we picked up car and started driving down road, the battery light came on (because our alternator needed to be replaced). Pulled over and when I looked under hood I find out they didn't even replace the battery I paid them for. When I called them to explain what happened, they got very rude and told me that it just happens and that it's not a big deal. We had someone else run a test and confirmed that the alternator was failing and needed to be replaced. Never going back here again. They charge for work that they didn't do and they don't even attempt to make things right.

She just had a great presence about her. As I was about to pay, a little pouch on my keychain came open, and two keepsake coins fell out of it. One was right at my feet, but the other one rolled under a display that is attached to the counter. I expressed how important and sentimental these are to my family and me. Crystal retrieved the coin. But it took her about ten minutes of working on her hands and knees to do so. And you know what? She was genuinely happy to do it. Where do you find employees of this caliber these days? Most folks are indifferent at best. It had been a very challenging day for me, and Crystal turned that around with her kindness and grace. Guys in the shop were helpful to my wife and tested the battery out in the vac prior to leaving the store. She called up a guy (Dewayne I think it was) and once he saw where my battery was, his immediate response was "I'm not dealing with this tonight. I'm not gonna take your car apart tonight." He wouldn't even try to listen to me. They did jump it off, with the hybrid, the engine does not start at first. But, like a golf cart, it goes off the battery at first. He kept asking how I was gonna get out if the engine wouldn't start. I was trying to explain that it CAN GO right now. It's a hybrid. He said "well this thing is just a piece of junk" I said at least it gets 50 mpg! He said "well it's getting 120 now because you arent going" This man was a car guy, yet wouldn't even try to understand what was going on or try to diagnose/figure out how to fix the problem. He just kept saying it was a piece of junk and that he wasn't gonna do all that crap tonight. Do not recommend. I understand hybrids are different, but he wouldn't even try to understand how to fix it. HE is the car guy. It was ridiculous how he talked to me and I do not recommend coming here if whatever it is isn't an easy fix.
